A pulsed atom laser is experimentally demonstrated by means of outcoupling coherent atoms from 87Rb Bose--Einstein condensates in magnetic trap via radio-frequency pulses. To study the strong outcoupling dynamics of the atom laser, the original |F=2, mF=2> condensate and the coupled |F=2, mF=1> component, both of which overlap in space usually, are separated spatially by collective oscillations. The number of atoms in three of the five Zeeman states are measured and compared with the theoretical results.

Statistical machine translation for low-resource language suffers from the lack of abundant training corpora. Several methods, such as the use of a pivot language, have been proposed as a bridge to translate from one language to another. However, errors will accumulate during the extensive translation pipelines. In this paper, we propose an approach to low-resource language translation by exploiting the pronunciation correlations between languages. We find that the pronunciation features can improve both Chinese-Vietnamese and Vietnamese- Chinese translation qualities. Experimental results show that our proposed model yields effective improvements, and the translation performance （bilingual evaluation understudy score） is improved by a maximum value of 1.03.

Object looation is a fundamental problem in distributed system such as grid computing and peer-to-peer environment. Chord is one of the typical scalable object looation algorithms for peer-to-peer network. The simplicity, provable correctness and provable performance of Chord make it an attractive option for distributed lookup. However its lookup performance is not satisfying. Based on the decentralized object looation mathematical model. This paper proposes ChordPlus, an improved Chord algorithm, by enlarging dimension size of space M ( M = 2 in Chord) and utilizing data redundancy technology. ChordPlus is a scalable, fault-tolerant, completely decentralized and self-organizing object looation and routing algorithm for overlay network. Results from theoretical analysis and simulation experiments show that increasing the dimension size of space or neighborhood set length can enhance the routing performance of ChordPlus. In a simulation network with 5 000 nodes, the average muting path length of ChordPlus is only as many as half that of Chord algorithm.

Owing to advanced storage and communication capabilities today, smart devices have become the basic interface between individuals and their surrounding environment. In particular, massive devices connect to one other directly in a proximity area, thereby enabling abundant Proximity Services（Pro Se）, which can be classified into two categories： public safety communication and social discovery. However, two challenges impede the quick development and deployment of Pro Se applications. From the viewpoint of networking, no multi-hop connectivity functionality component can be directly operated on commercially off-the-shelf devices, and from the programming viewpoint, an easily reusable development framework is lacking for developers with minimal knowledge of the underlying communication technologies and connectivity. Considering these two issues, this paper makes a twofold contribution. First, a multi-hop mesh networking based on Bluetooth Low Energy（BLE） is implemented,in which a proactive routing mechanism with link-quality（i.e., received signal strength indication） assistance is designed. Second, a Pro Se development framework called BLE Mesh is designed and implemented, which can provide significant benefits for application developers, framework maintenance professionals, and end users. Rich application programming interfaces can help developers to build Pro Se apps easily and quickly. Dependency inversion principle and template method pattern allow modules in BLE Mesh to be loosely coupled and easy to maintain and update. Callback mechanism enables modules to work smoothly together and automation processes such as registration, node discovery, and messaging are employed to offer nearly zero-configuration for end ***, based on the designed Pro Se development kit, a public safety communications app called Quote Send App is built to distribute emergency information in close area without Internet access. The process illustrates the easy usability of BLE Mesh

POSITIVE SOLUTIONS OF BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR A SYSTEM OF NONLINEAR ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

Since the ⅡR design is very difficult and time-consuming by using the hardware description language directly, this paper presents a simpler and more efficient method for IIR digital filter design. This design is based on Batterworth analog filter, using the impulse response invariant method. The design steps are: design non-quantitative ⅡR filter using Matlab;convert the designed ⅡR filter of M language into hardware description language using AccelDSP;then verify and synthesize the ⅡR design using ISE 10.1 of Xilinx. The design is verified by timing simulation and can be implemented on FPGA directly. The key of this design is to analyze the ⅡR digital filter algorithm, then describe it through the synthesizable m language and finally convert the m program to RTL design by using AccelDSP. The aim of this paper is to simplify the ⅡR digital filter design.
