In recent years,due to the increasing demand for portable electronic devices,rechargeable solid-state battery technology has developed ***-ion batteries are the systems of choice,offering high energy density,flexible and lightweight design,and longer lifespan than comparable battery ***,a better understanding of the relationship between electrochemical mechanism and structural properties from theory and experiment will enable us to accelerate the development of high-performance and security *** review discusses the interplay between theoretical calculation and experiment in the study of lithium ion battery *** introduce the application of theoretical calculation method in solid-state batteries through the combination of theory and *** present the concept and assembly technology of solid-state batteries are *** basic parameters of solid-state electrolytes,especially sulfide-based solid-state electrolytes and their interface mechanisms with high-voltage cathode materials,are analyzed by theoretical *** present an overview on the scientific challenges,fundamental mechanisms,and design strategies for solid-state batteries,especially focusing on the issues of stability on solid-state electrolytes and the associated interfaces with both cathode and *** to the theoretical models,we can not only reveal the unprecedented mechanism from the atomic scale,but also analyze the interface problems in the battery thoroughly,thus effectively designing more promising electrolyte and interface coating *** blazed a new trial for engineering an interphase with improved interfacial compatibility for a long-term cyclability.

Characteristic stress variation and microcrack evolution of granite subjected to uniaxial compression using acoustic emission methods

The size of mineral grain has a significant impact on the initiation and propagation of microcracks within *** this study,fine-,medium-,and coarse-grained granites were used to investigate microcrack evolution and characteristic stress under uniaxial compression using the acoustic emission(AE),digital image correlation(DIC),and nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)*** experimental results show that the characteristic stress of each granite decreased considerably with increasing grain *** inflection points of the b-value occurred earlier with an increase in grain sizes,indicating that the larger grains promote the generation and propagation of *** distribution characteristics of the average frequency(AF)and the ratio of rise time to amplitude(RA)indicate that the proportion of shear microcracks increases with increasing grain *** NMR results indicate that the porosity and the proportion of large pores increased with increasing grain size,which may intensify the microcrack ***,analysis of the DIC and AE event rates suggests that the high-displacement regions could serve as a criterion for the degree of microcrack *** study found that granites with larger grains had a higher proportion of high-displacement regions,which can lead to larger-scale cracking or even *** findings are not only beneficial to understand the pattern of microcrack evolution with different grain sizes,but also provide guidance for rock monitoring and instability assessment.

Effect of height-diameter ratio on the mechanical characteristics of shale with different bedding orientations

Geological exploration cores obtained from shale gas wells several kilometers deep often show different height-diameter ratios(H/D)because of complex geological conditions(core disking or developed fractures),which makes further standard specimen preparation for mechanical evaluation of reservoirs *** multi-cluster hydraulic fracturing,shale reservoirs between planes of hydraulic fractures with different lengths could be simplified to have different H/D *** the effect of H/D on the mechanical characteristics of shale specimens with different bedding orientations will support mechanical evaluation tests of reservoirs based on disked geological cores and help to optimize multicluster fracturing *** this study,we performed uniaxial compression tests and acoustic emission(AE)monitoring on cylindrical Longmaxi shale specimens under five bedding orientations and four H/D *** experimental results showed that both the H/D-dependent mechanical properties and AE parameters demonstrated significant *** H/D did not change the uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)evolution versus bedding orientation,demonstrating a V-shaped relationship,but enhanced the curve *** stress level of crack damage for the specimens significantly increased with increasing H/D,excluding the specimens with a bedding orientation of 0°.With increasing H/D,the cumulative AE counts of the specimens with each bedding orientation tended to exhibit a stepped jump against the loading *** proportion of low-average-frequency AE signals(below 100 kHz)in specimens with bedding orientations of 45°and 60°increased to over 70%by increasing H/D,but it only increased to 40%in specimens with bedding orientations of 0°,30°,and 90°.Finally,an empirical model that can reveal the effect of H/D on anisotropic UCS of shale reservoir was proposed,the anisotropic proportion of tensile and shear failure cracks in specimens under four H/D ratios was classified based o

Green Synthesis of Iron(Ⅱ,Ⅲ)-polyphenol Nanoparticles and Their Adsorption of Malachite Green

Three kinds of iron nanoparticles(FeNPs)were prepared via green route based on pomegranate(PG),green tea(GT),and mulberry(ML)extracts under ambient *** obtained materials were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electronic microscopy(TEM),X-ray energy-dispersive spectrometer(EDS),X-ray diffraction(XRD),fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)*** experimental results show that FeNPs were in the form of amorphous iron(Ⅱ,Ⅲ)-polyphenol complex with different dispersity and ***-Fe has the smallest size range of 25-35 nm,PG-Fe has a moderate size-distribution of 30-40 nm,while ML-Fe formed a tuberous net-type with a sheeting ***-Fe displays the highest removal efficiency of 90.2%in 20 min towards cationic dye of malachite green(16.6%by ML-Fe and 69.3%by GT-Fe),which is attributed to its highest polyphenol content,lowest zeta potential,as well as the most Fe^(2+)on the surface of *** removal mechanism was mainly induced by electrostatic adsorption based on pH and zeta potential tests.

Mechanical behavior of rock under uniaxial tension:Insights from energy storage and dissipation

Many rock engineering projects show that the growth of tensile cracks is often an important cause of engineering disasters,and the mechanical behavior of rocks is essentially the transmission,storage,dissipation and release of *** investigate the tensile behavior of rock from the perspective of energy,uniaxial tension tests(UTTs)and uniaxial compression tests(UCTs)were carried out on three typical rocks(granite,sandstone and marble).Different unloading points were set before the peak stress to separate elastic energy and dissipated *** input energy density ut,elastic energy density ue,and dissipated energy density ud at each unloading point were calculated by integrating stress-strain *** results show that there is a strong linear relationship between the three energy parameters and the square of the unloading stress in UCT,but this linear relationship is weaker in *** ue and ud increase linearly with the increase in ut in UCT and *** on the phenomenon that ue and ud increase linearly with ut,the applicability of W_(et)^(p) index in UTT was proved and the relative energy storage capacity and absolute energy distribution characteristics of three rocks in UCT and UTT were *** tensile behavior of marble and sandstone in UTT can be divided into two stages vaguely according to the energy distribution,but granite is not the *** addition,based on dissipated energy,the damage evolution of three types of rocks in UCT and UTT was *** study provides some new insights for understanding the tensile behavior of rock.

Analysis of strength characteristics of loess before and after freezing using a hollow cylinder torsional shear apparatus

This paper aims to comprehensively analyze the influence of the principal stress angle rotation and intermediate principal stress on loess's strength and deformation characteristics. A hollow cylinder torsional shear apparatus was utilized to conduct tests on remolded samples under both normal and frozen conditions to investigate the mechanical properties and deformation behavior of loess under complex stress conditions. The results indicate significant differences in the internal changes of soil particles, unfrozen water, and relative positions in soil samples under normal and frozen conditions, leading to noticeable variations in strength and strain *** frozen state, loess experiences primarily compressive failure with a slow growth of cracks, while at normal temperature, it predominantly exhibits shear failure. With the increase in the principal stress angle, the deformation patterns of the soil samples under different conditions become essentially consistent, gradually transitioning from compression to extension, accompanied by a reduction in axial strength. The gradual increase in the principal stress axis angle(α) reduces the strength of the generalized shear stress and shear strain *** an increasing α, frozen soil exhibits strain-hardening characteristics, with the maximum shear strength occurring at α = 45°. The intermediate principal stress coefficient(b) also significantly impacts the strength of frozen soil, with an increasing b resulting in a gradual decrease in generalized shear stress strength. This study provides a reference for comprehensively exploring the mechanical properties of soil under traffic load and a reliable theoretical basis for the design and maintenance of roadbeds.

Predicting Rock Burst in Underground engineering Leveraging a Novel Metaheuristic-Based LightGBM Model

Rock bursts represent a formidable challenge in underground engineering,posing substantial risks to both infrastructure and human *** sudden and violent failures of rock masses are characterized by the rapid release of accumulated stress within the rock,leading to severe seismic events and structural ***,the development of reliable prediction models for rock bursts is paramount to mitigating these *** study aims to propose a tree-based model—a Light Gradient Boosting Machine(LightGBM)—to predict the intensity of rock bursts in underground engineering.322 actual rock burst cases are collected to constitute an exhaustive rock burst dataset,which serves to train the *** population-basedmetaheuristic algorithms are used to optimize the hyperparameters of the LightGBM ***,the sensitivity analysis is used to identify the predominant factors that may incur the occurrence of rock *** results show that the population-based metaheuristic algorithms have a good ability to search out the optimal hyperparameters of the LightGBM *** developed LightGBM model yields promising performance in predicting the intensity of rock bursts,with which accuracy on training and testing sets are 0.972 and 0.944,*** sensitivity analysis discloses that the risk of occurring rock burst is significantly sensitive to three factors:uniaxial compressive strength(σc),stress concentration factor(SCF),and elastic strain energy index(Wet).Moreover,this study clarifies the particular impact of these three factors on the intensity of rock bursts through the partial dependence plot.

Physical Prediction Model of Compound Hydrodynamic Unload-Load Response Ratio and Its Application in Reservoir Colluvium Landslide

It is well known that the deformation and damage of reservoir colluvium landslides are often determined by the combined dynamics of reservoir water level change and *** on the systematic analysis of the change law of reservoir water level,rainfall and displacements of reservoir colluvium landslide,this paper proposes the compound hydrodynamic action of rainfall and reservoir water as the unload-load parameter,and the landslide displacement as the unload-load response *** on this,a physical prediction model of the compound hydrodynamic unload-load response ratio of reservoir colluvium landslide was established,and the quantitative relationship between the compound hydrodynamic unload-load response ratio and its stability evolution was in-depth analyzed and *** the basis of the above research,taking Shuping landslide,a typical hydrodynamic pressure landslide as an example,the unload-load response ratio model is used to systematically evaluate and predict the stability evolution law and the change trend of the landslide under compound hydrodynamic *** prediction result shows that the variation law of the compound hydrodynamic unload-load response ratio is consistent with the dynamic evolution law of its ***,the above studies show that the compound hydrodynamic unload-load response ratio parameter is an effective displacement dynamic evaluation parameter for reservoir colluvium landslides,so it can be used in the prediction of the reservoir colluvium landslides.

Using NH_(2)-MIL-125(Ti)for efficient removal of Cr(Ⅵ)and Rh B from aqueous solutions:Competitive and cooperative behavior in the binary system

The coexistence of inorganic and organic contaminants is a challenge for real-life water treatment ***,in this research,we used NH_2-MIL-125(Ti)to evaluate the single adsorption of hexavalent chromium(Cr(Ⅵ))or Rhodamine B(RhB)in an aqueous solution and further investigate simultaneous adsorption experiments to compare the adsorption behavior *** main influencing factors,for example,reaction time,initial concentration,reaction temperature,and pH were studied in *** all reaction systems,the pseudo-second-order kinetic and Langmuir isotherm models were well illuminated the adsorption progress of Cr(Ⅵ)and *** studies showed that the adsorption process was spontaneous and *** compared to the single system,the adsorption capacity of Cr(Ⅵ)in the binary system gradually decreased as the additive amount of RhB increased,whereas the adsorption capacity of RhB in the binary system was expanded *** the binary reaction system contained 100 mg/L Cr(Ⅵ),the removal rate of RhB increased to 97.58%.The formation of Cr(Ⅵ)-RhB and Cr(Ⅲ)-RhB complexes was the cause that provided facilitation for the adsorption of *** findings prove that the interactions during the water treatment process between contaminants may obtain additional benefits,contributing to a better adsorption capacity of co-existing contaminant.

Channel assignment and power allocation for throughput improvement with PPO in B5G heterogeneous edge networks

In Beyond the Fifth Generation(B5G)heterogeneous edge networks,numerous users are multiplexed on a channel or served on the same frequency resource block,in which case the transmitter applies coding and the receiver uses interference ***,uncoordinated radio resource allocation can reduce system throughput and lead to user inequity,for this reason,in this paper,channel allocation and power allocation problems are formulated to maximize the system sum rate and minimum user achievable *** the construction model is non-convex and the response variables are high-dimensional,a distributed Deep Reinforcement Learning(DRL)framework called distributed Proximal Policy Optimization(PPO)is proposed to allocate or assign ***,several simulated agents are trained in a heterogeneous environment to find robust behaviors that perform well in channel assignment and power ***,agents in the collection stage slow down,which hinders the learning of other ***,a preemption strategy is further proposed in this paper to optimize the distributed PPO,form DP-PPO and successfully mitigate the straggler *** experimental results show that our mechanism named DP-PPO improves the performance over other DRL methods.
