As socioeconomic development continues,the issue of building energy consumption has attracted significant attention,and improving the thermal insulation performance of buildings has become a crucial strategic ***,the application of solid waste in insulation materials has also become a hot *** paper reviews the sources and classifications of solid waste,focusing on research progress in its application as insulation materials in the domains of daily life,agriculture,and *** research shows that incorporating household solid waste materials,such as waste glass,paper,and clothing scraps into cementitious thermal insulation can significantly reduce the thermal conductivity of the materials,leading to excellent thermal insulation *** materials prepared from agricultural solid waste,such as barley straw,corn stalk,chicken feather,and date palm fibers,possess characteristics of lightweight and strong thermal *** solid waste,including waste tires,iron tailings,and coal bottom ash,can also be utilized in the preparation of insulation *** innovative applications not only have positive environmental significance by reducing waste emissions and resource consumption,but also provide efficient and sustainable insulation solutions for the construction ***,to further optimize the mix design and enhance the durability of insulation materials,continuous research is required to investigate the mechanisms through which solid waste impacts the performance of insulation materials.

Traffic flow prediction plays a key role in the construction of intelligent transportation ***,due to its complex spatio-temporal dependence and its uncertainty,the research becomes very *** of the existing studies are based on graph neural networks that model traffic flow graphs and try to use fixed graph structure to deal with the relationship between ***,due to the time-varying spatial correlation of the traffic network,there is no fixed node relationship,and these methods cannot effectively integrate the temporal and spatial *** paper proposes a novel temporal-spatial dynamic graph convolutional network(TSADGCN).The dynamic time warping algorithm(DTW)is introduced to calculate the similarity of traffic flow sequence among network nodes in the time dimension,and the spatiotemporal graph of traffic flow is constructed to capture the spatiotemporal characteristics and dependencies of traffic *** combining graph attention network and time attention network,a spatiotemporal convolution block is constructed to capture spatiotemporal characteristics of traffic *** on open data sets PEMSD4 and PEMSD8 show that TSADGCN has higher prediction accuracy than well-known traffic flow prediction algorithms.

A theoretical study on gaseous pollutant flushing of natural ventilation driven by buoyancy forces in industrial buildings

The acceleration of industrialization worsening indoor environments of industrial buildings has drawn more attention in recent *** ventilation can improve indoor air quality(IAQ)and reduce carbon *** evaluate gaseous pollutant levels in industrial buildings for the development of buoyancy-driven natural ventilation,two theoretical models of pollutant flushing(Model I and Model II)are developed based on the existing thermal stratification theory in combination with the mixing characteristics of lower *** results show that indoor pollutant flushing is mainly dependent on the pollution source intensity and effective ventilation *** mixing characteristics of lower pollutant has an important effect on pollutant stratification and evolution during ventilation,but it does not change the prediction results at steady *** the dimensionless pollution source intensity is larger than 1,the pollution source should be cleaned up or other ventilation methods should be used instead to improve *** addition,the comparisons between Model I and Model II on instantaneous pollutant concentration are significantly influenced by the pollution source intensity,and the actual pollutant concentration is more likely to be between the predicted values of Model I and Model *** reduce pollutant concentration to a required level,the pollution source intensity should be in a certain *** theoretical models as well as the necessary conditions for ventilation effectiveness obtained can be used for the ventilation optimization design of industrial buildings.

Catalytic oxidation of toluene by manganese oxides:Effect of K^(+)doping on oxygen vacancy

Alkali metal potassium was beneficial to the electronic regulation and structural stability of transition metal ***,K ions were introduced into manganese oxides by different methods to improve the degradation efficiency of *** results of activity experiments indicated that KMnO_(4)-HT(HT:Hydrothermal method)exhibited outstanding low-temperature catalytic activity,and 90%conversion of toluene can be achieved at 243℃,which was 41℃and 43℃lower than that of KNO_(3)-HT and Mn-HT,*** largest specific surface area was observed on KMnO_(4)-HT,facilitating the adsorption of *** formation of cryptomelane structure over KMnO_(4)-HT could contribute to higher content of Mn^(3+)and lattice oxygen(Olatt),excellent low-temperature reducibility,and high oxygen mobility,which could increase the catalytic ***,two distinct degradation pathways were ***Ⅰ(KMnO_(4)-HT):toluene→benzyl→benzoic acid→carbonate→CO_(2)and H2O;PathwayⅡ(Mn-HT):toluene→benzyl alcohol→benzoic acid→phenol→maleic anhydride→CO_(2)and *** intermediates were detected on KMnO_(4)-HT,indicating its stronger oxidation capacity of toluene,which was originated from the doping of K^(+)and the interaction between *** intermediates were observed on Mn-HT,which can be attributed to the weaker oxidation ability of pure *** results indicated that the doping of K^(+)can improve the catalytic oxidation capacity of toluene,resulting in promoted degradation of intermediates during the oxidation of toluene.

Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)can be easily promoted by antibiotics,however,the structural effects of antibiotics on the proliferation of ARGs dynamic and the associated mechanisms remain obscure in,especially,activated sludge sequencing batch *** the present study,the effects of 9 sulfonamides(SAs)with different structures on the proliferation dynamic of sulfonamide resistance genes(Suls)in the activated sludge sequencing batch reactors and the corresponding mechanisms were determined(30 days),and the results showed that the largest proliferation value(ΔA^(R))of Suls dynamic for SAs(sulfachloropyridazine)was approximately 2.9 times than that of the smallest one(sulfadiazine).The proliferation of Suls was significantly related to the structural features(minHBint6,SssNH,SHBd and SpMax2_Bhm)that represent the biological activity of *** interpret the phenomenon,a mechanistic model was developed and the results indicated that the biodegradation of SAs(T_(1/2))rather than conjugative transfer frequency or mutation frequency tends to be the key process for affecting Suls proliferation.T_(1/2)was proved to be dependent on the interactions between SAs and receptors(E_(binding)),the cleavage mode(bond dissociation energy),and the site of nucleophilic ***,the metagenomic analysis showed that SAs posed significant effect on antibiotic resistome and Tnp31 played a vital role in the proliferation of ***,our findings provide important insight into a theoretical basis for understanding the structural effects of SAs on the proliferation of ARGs in SBR systems.

Pt-HSiW/CeO_(2) catalysts were prepared for chlorobenzene(CB) catalytic combustion by hydrothermal method at different calcination temperatures,and the effects of the surface acidity and chemical valence on the catalytic activity were *** results show that the catalyst calcined at 450℃(Cat-B)exhibits the outstanding catalytic performance,and the Cat-B catalyst possesses 90% conversion of CB at148℃.The excellent catalytic activity of Cat-B is attributed to more Ce^(3+)/(Ce^(3+)+Ce^(4+)),Pt~0/(Pt^(0)+Pt^(2+)),O_(ads)/(O_(latt)+O_(ads)) and Lewis acid *** degradation mechanism is proposed based on the analysis of the intermediates with the following reaction pathway:chlorobenzene→phenates/benzoquinone→acetate→maleate→CO_(2)+H_(2)O.

This paper studied the effects of different retarders on the performance of the"one-step"alkali-activated composite cementitious material(ACCM)which is composed of ground granulated blast slag(GGBS)and fly ash(FA),and analyzed its mechanical properties,hydration mechanism,and retardation *** effects of retarders on the hydration products,mechanical properties,and hydration kinetics of ACCM were investigated using XRD,SEM,FTIR,EDS,and thermoactive *** results showed that Na_(2)B_(4)O_(7)·10H_(2)O(B)delayed the exotherm during the alkali activation process and could effectively delay the setting time of ACCM,but the mechanical properties were slightly *** setting time of ACCM increased with the increase in SG content,but the mechanical properties of ACCM decreased with the increase in SG content.C1_(2)H_(22)O_(11)(CHO)could effectively delay the hydration reaction of ACCM and weakly enhanced the compressive strength.H_(3)PO_(4)(HP)at a concentration of 0.05 mol/L had a certain effect on ACCM retardation,but HP at a concentration of 0.07 and 0.09 mol/L had an effect of promoting the setting and hardening time of ACCM.

Vulnerability assessment is essential for understanding and launching effective flood risk reduction *** study aimed to examine the vulnerability of flood-prone rural communities in southern Punjab,Pakistan to external *** concept of vulnerability encompasses a range of dimensions,including physical,social,institutional,environmental,economic,and *** a composite index method,indices were developed for each dimension and combined to create a multidimensional measure of vulnerability.A sample of 365 communities was selected using the Yamane sampling technique,and data were collected through a questionnaire containing 65 indicators across all *** statistics and ANOVA tests were used to analyze the *** results show that communities near the Chenab River had higher attitudinal and institutional vulnerability compared to other *** attitudinal vulnerabilities were as sociated with poorly perceived flood risks and low preparedness measures,whereas institutional vulnerabilities were driven by conventional flood protection strategies,lack of institutional trust,and lack of flood risk *** research provides insights into the various components of vulnerability in flood-prone rural communities in Pakistan and demonstrates a useful methodology that can be applied to other disasters at different spatial scales.

Fluoride is an important pollutant in wastewater,and adsorption is an effective way to remove *** nitrogen plays an important role in adsorbent materials,computational models were developed to understand the changes in work function resulting from nitrogen ***-N-C-800℃,was prepared by pyrolyzing La-MOF-NH_(2)to verify the influence on the performance of removing fluoride by *** and electrochemical performance tests were performed to characterize La-N-C-800℃.Adsorption kinetics,adsorption thermodynamics,initial concentrations,pH,and ions competition were investigated using La-N-C-800℃for fluoride *** addition,density functional theory was applied to evaluate the function of *** nitrogen atoms were added,the density of states,partial density of states,populations,and different orbits of charge were calculated to discover deep *** strengthened the carbon structure and La_(2)O_(3)structure to remove *** addition,nitrogen can also act as an adsorption site in the carbon *** results provide design ideas for improving the performance of adsorbent materials by doping elements.
