The writings of Soren Kierkegaard provide a theological and philosophical foundation as experienced in the life of a tragic hero and a knight of faith. It will be shown that the ethical dimensions as experienced by Abraham in ＂Fear and Trembling＂ provide a core ontology in the lives of Jan Patocka and Viktor Frankl. Jan Parocka developed a phenomenological, Kierkegaardian, existential approach in his writings and lectures that enabled him to undergo his interrogations by the Czech communist secret police. The World War II concentration camp experiences of Viktor Frankl led him to develop a Kierkegaardian, existential, noetic approach to discover meaning under inhuman living conditions. We, as humans, are searching for a spiritual core to transcendence, as seen in the writings of Kierkeggard to reach beyond ourselves in the fully human dimension of the good, the true, and the beautiful in faith and in love. Special attention will be given to the lives of Patocka, Frankl, and how Kierkegaard＇s theology and philosophy contribute a transhistorical, phenomenological, existential, meaning-centered approach to understanding trauma, especially in the lives of returning veterans and their families.

The society has become aware of the rate at which our environment is being destroyed. Different schools thought to aim at savaging the environmental problems which have emerged. While some blame this environmental mess on Social Darwinism, others blame it on Biblical Creationists. On the other side of the ecological debate is the New Age Movement （pantheism）, which to some extent are evolutionist and opposed to the Creator God, though they worship and serve nature （Rom 1：25）. The New-Agers believe that it was as a result of the ＂dominion mandate＂ God gave to humanity that has led to human destruction of the ecology. Some Christians have been indifferent towards nature; because they oppose the New-Agers, they do not want to have anything to do with their views about controlling the environmental problem. Christians are being called upon either to compromise with Darwinian evolution or pantheism （New-Age）. The main concern of this study is to find the meanings of kabash and radah as used in Gen 1：26-28. It also aims at ascertaining the kind of dominion God gave to humanity. Did God grant to man a totalitarian despotic dominion over nature？ Or was the dominion given to man in the form of stewardship？ These are the concerns of this paper.

Ghana has been a collectivistic society. However, due to social change, this value is fast being replaced by individualistic tendencies with implications for age-oriented care provision and receipt. This paper investigates the participation in the socially productive strategy of using ageing-oriented volunteerism to leverage the receipt of care in later life utilizing a quantitative dataset. The results show that volunteering may be undertaken with old age in sight. This needs to take place under circumstances of good communication skills among others. The accumulated time needs to be recorded in a time bank and redeemed with a time bank card in later life. Two-dimensional leveraging points pertain in this context: first, leveraging volunteerism for short or long-term care in the nearest future;second, technological innovation’s facilitation of the same. Volunteerism in this context has the attribute of low levels of depression, with implications for quality of life. These are discussed in the light of the social care pillar of ageing social policy. The paper argues that adopting volunteerism with reciprocation as the ultimate goal constitutes a kickback model for care receipt in later life. It served as a choice of care in later life which is a shock absorber to inadequate formal support infrastructure and individualistic social tendencies in Ghana. It is reminiscent of resistance to the shrinkage of older persons’ social integration in their social world.

In order to adapt to the trend of ＂energy saving and emission reduction＂ and impel the practical application of semi solid processing （SSP） in China, the progress and application of semi-solid theory in China have been reviewed briefly and systematically. It was emphasized on basic theories, such as formation of globular grains, theology, high pressure solidification and plastic deformation and applications, such as material design, preparation of semi-solid billets （slurries）, thixoforming and application status, which are based on the advantage of semi-solid processing. The results show that the gap of SSP between world level and China exists, especially in application technologies, including market recognition, application fields exploiting, developing of billets （slurries） preparation technologies with low cost and special equipments. The prospect of semi-solid forming development path in China is presented. And we hope that application of SSP has great new breakthrough and development and China wilt be changed from a large metal processing country to a powerful metal processing country.

The study of generalized Jeffreys and generalized Oldroyd-B fluids with fractional derivatives has made rapid progress as an example of applications of fractional calculus in theology. However, their thermodynamic compatibility and mechanical ana- logue have not yet been properly considered. In the present study, by discussing both these issues, we find that the two orders of fractional derivatives in the constitutive equation of the generalized Jeffreys fluid must be the same in order to ensure that the equation is physically correct. Based on this generalized Jeffreys fluid, a thermodynamically compatible generalized Oldryd-B fluid is also proposed by the convected coordinates approach.

This paper describes a triple-transforming gel system （gel-sol-gel＇） for the first time, which is a thermo-responsive and multi- component organogel prepared by β-cyclodextrin （β-CD）, diphenylamine （DPA） and lithium chloride （LiCl） in N,N-dimethyla- cetamide （DMAC） in a suitable proportion based on the supramolecular interactions. In the triple-transfomaing gel system, a gel （gel A） could be formed by β-CD, DPA and LiCl in DMAC at room temperature based on stirring, then the gel could transform into a clear solution based on heating, and then the other gel （gel B） can be formed at a relatively high temperature （Tget, the gelation temperature by heating）. The two gel states in the triple-transforming gel system have different microstructures. This gel system was characterized by OM, SEM, IR and theology.
