Photometric technology,characterized by its compact structure and relatively high stability,finds wide application in measuring airglow *** instrumentation is anticipated to assume a pivotal role as the primary equipment for extensive network observations of middle and upper atmospheric temperatures in China,thereby providing crucial support for space environmental monitoring and atmospheric dynamic ***,susceptibility to various factors such as instrument inconsistency,variability in observation conditions,and alterations in the background atmospheric environment across different stations poses a challenge,potentially resulting in data inconsistencies in network *** response to these challenges,we propose a multiple-parameter iterative inversion(MPII)algorithm for temperature retrieval based on a mesospheric airglow spectrum photometer(MASP)developed by our research *** algorithm accurately identifies the center of the image circle,corrects image distortion,and thereby obtains an accurate synthetic spectrum reflective of actual *** encompasses five adjustable parameters:sky background light,atmospheric temperature,filter temperature,optical system focal length,and degree of synthetic spectrum *** to traditional methods,significant enhancements in the accuracy of the inverted temperature are *** validate the effectiveness of the MPII algorithm,we conducted combined active and passive remote sensing synchronous measurements using MASP in conjunction with a sodium fluorescence Doppler lidar developed by the National Space Science *** utilizing the lidar temperature as a reference,atmospheric background radiation is mitigated from the MASP data,and the temperature is inverted using the MPII *** analysis with the traditional method reveals that temperatures calculated by the MPII algorithm exhibit better consistency than those observed by the lidar.

In this paper, we explore the electrical characteristics of high-electron-mobility transistors(HEMTs) using a TaN/AlGaN/GaN metal insulating semiconductor(MIS) structure. The high-resistance tantalum nitride(TaN) film prepared by magnetron sputtering as the gate dielectric layer of the device achieved an effective reduction of electronic states at the TaN/AlGaN interface, and reducing the gate leakage current of the MIS HEMT, its performance was enhanced. The HEMT exhibited a low gate leakage current of 2.15 × 10^(-7) mA/mm and a breakdown voltage of 1180 V. Furthermore, the MIS HEMT displayed exceptional operational stability during dynamic tests, with dynamic resistance remaining only 1.39 times even under 400 V stress.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)has caused hundreds of millions of infections and millions of deaths over past two ***,many countries have still not been able to take the pandemic under *** this review,we systematically summarized what we have done to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic,from the perspectives of virus transmission,public health control measures,to the development and vaccination of COVID-19 *** a virus most likely coming from bats,the SARS-CoV-2 may transmit among people via airborne,faecal-oral,vertical or foodborne ***-analysis suggested that the R0 of COVID-19 was 2.9(95%CI:2.7–3.1),and the estimates in Africa and Europe could be *** median Rt could decrease by 23–96%following the nonpharmacological interventions,including lockdown,isolation,social distance,and face mask,*** intervention and lockdown were the most effective measures to control the *** to the pooled R0 in our meta-analysis,there should be at least 93.3%(95%CI:89.9–96.2%)people being vaccinated around the *** amount of vaccines and the inequity issues in vaccine allocation call for more international cooperation to achieve the antiepidemic goals and vaccination fairness.

A Two-Stage Evolutionary Game Model for Collaborative Emergency Management Between Local Governments and Enterprises

Enterprises play a vital role in emergency management,but few studies have considered the strategy choices behind such participation or the collaborative relationship with the *** study contended that enterprises have at least three strategies regarding emergency management:non-participation,short-term participation,and long-term *** constructed a two-stage evolutionary game model to explore the behavioral evolution rules and evolutionary stability strategies of the government and enterprises,and employed numerical simulation to analyze how various factors influence the strategy selection of the government and *** results show that if and only if the utility value of participation is greater than 0,an enterprise will participate in emergency *** evolutionary game then enters the second stage,during which system stability is affected by a synergistic relationship between participation cost,reputation benefit,and government subsidies,and by an incremental relationship between emergency management benefit,government subsidies,and emergency training *** study provides a new theoretical perspective for research on collaborative emergency management,and the results provide important references for promoting the performance of collaborative emergency management.

Many Asian countries are projected to age rapidly and will need to devote a larger proportion of their GDP to finance age-related expenditure including on *** therefore will have to create additional fiscal space to fund such expenditure to sustain the credibility of existing pension *** paper presents an exploratory framework for creating fiscal *** framework has three interrelated components:enhancing broadbased growth,improving revenue performance and better expenditure *** paper distinguishes between funding of pensions,*** share of GDP devoted to pensions,and financing of pensions,*** different methods and instruments used to finance *** focus of the paper is on funding,and the framework relies on both the income-expenditure flows and the government balance sheet to create fiscal *** examples of how potential fiscal space can be created in Asian economies of China,India and Indonesia to make their pension promises more credible are *** paper emphasises that the measures discussed for enhancing fiscal space should not be undertaken as a purely technical exercise,but should be combined with managing the political economy in a given context.

Supported metal clusters with the integrated advantages of single-atom catalysts and conventional nanoparticles held great promise in the electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction(ECO_(2)R)operated at low overpotential and high current ***,its precise synthesis and the understanding of synergisti-cally catalytic effects remain ***,we report a facile method to synthesize the bimetallic Cu and Ni clusters anchored on porous carbon(Cu/Ni-NC)and achieve an enhanced ECO_(2)*** aberration-corrected high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy and synchrotron X-ray absorption spectroscopy were employed to verify the metal dispersion and the coordination of Cu/Ni clusters on *** a result of this route,the target Cu/Ni-NC exhibits excellent electrocatalytic performance including a stable 30 h electrolysis at 200 mA cm^(-2) with carbon monoxide Faradaic efficiency of∼95.1%using a membrane electrode assembly electrolysis *** with the in situ analysis of the surface-enhanced Fourier transform infrared spectroelectrochemistry,we propose that the synergistic effects between Ni and Cu can effectively promote the H_(2)O dissociation,thereby accelerate the hydrogenation of CO_(2)to*COOH and the overall reaction process.

Impacts of climate change and human activities on vegetation dynamics on the Mongolian Plateau, East Asia from 2000 to 2023

The Mongolian Plateau in East Asia is one of the largest contingent arid and semi-arid areas of the *** the impacts of climate change and human activities,desertification is becoming increasingly severe on the Mongolian *** the vegetation dynamics in this region can better characterize its ecological *** this study,based on Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS)images,we calculated the kernel normalized difference vegetation index(kNDVI)on the Mongolian Plateau from 2000 to 2023,and analyzed the changes in kNDVI using the Theil-Sen median trend analysis and Mann-Kendall significance *** further investigated the impact of climate change on kNDVI change using partial correlation analysis and composite correlation analysis,and quantified the effects of climate change and human activities on kNDVI change by residual *** results showed that kNDVI on the Mongolian Plateau was increasing overall,and the vegetation recovery area in the southern region was significantly larger than that in the northern *** 50.99%of the plateau showed dominant climate-driven effects of temperature,precipitation,and wind speed on kNDVI *** analysis showed that climate change and human activities together contributed to 94.79%of the areas with vegetation *** human activities promoted the recovery of local vegetation,and climate change inhibited vegetation growth in the northern part of the Mongolian *** study provides scientific data for understanding the regional ecological environment status and future changes and developing effective ecological protection measures on the Mongolian Plateau.
