Changes in public trust in physicians: empirical evidence from China

Studies examining the trends in public trust in physicians have provided a considerable amount of valuable policy implications for policymakers compared with cross-sectional studies on this topic in many countries. This study investigated changes in public trust in physicians in China based on two cross-sectional national surveys conducted in 2011 and 2016 and identified the determinants of these changes. The results indicated 83.4% of respondents in 20H reported trust or strong trust in physicians in China, which decreased to 64.2% by 2016. The results of ordinal logistic regression demonstrated that public trust in physicians in China had decreased significantly from 2011 to 2016 (P public trust in physicians in China. The results also confirmed that decreasing public satisfaction with the most recent treatment experience was the major determinant of decreasing public trust in physicians in China. The findings of this study suggest that decreasing public trust in physicians deserves considerable attention from national policymakers and that improving satisfaction with treatment experiences would be the most effective strategy for enhancing public trust in physicians in China.

What will be the impact of property tax levy(RPT)on China’s housing price?The conclusions from existing research are conflicting,failing to pinpoint how RPT will affect housing price and *** crucially,theoretical economic models are missing in clearly describing the operating mechanisms of the tax’s *** with a theoretical model of RPT,housing price and rent,the paper derives the path and mechanism of RPT affecting housing price and rent,and provides insights on the choice of timing for China to adopt and levy *** simulation results show that under China’s circumstances,if the effective RPT rate is 0.5%and the RPT revenue is not used to increase public services,the tax may cause a housing price decline between 8.3%and 12.5%.If the RPT revenue is used for basic public services,the housing price decline will be as small as 1.7%to 2.5%,but rent may rise by 6.7%to 20%.The reason for the sharp drop in housing price is the bubble;the premise of a rent hike is that the public services that renters can benefi t from are substantially *** on the impact of RPT on housing price fluctuation,the period after the market has gradually squeezed out the housing price bubble may be among the best windows for adopting RPT.

Reforms in public hospitals are among the most important improvements in China＇s health care system over the last two decades. However, the reforms that should be implemented in public hospitals are unclear. Thus, a feasible direction of reforms in Chinese public hospitals is suggested and reliable policy suggestions are provided for the government to reform public hospitals. The data used in this study were mainly derived from a qualitative study. Focus group discussions and in-depth interviews were conducted in Shanghai, Guangdong, and Gansu between May and December 2014. Government funding accounted for approximately eight percent of the total annual revenue of public hospitals in China, and the insufficient government subsidy considerably affects the operation mechanism of public hospitals. However, solely increasing this subsidy cannot address the inappropriate incentives of public hospitals in China. The most crucial step in setting the direction of reforms in public hospitals in China is transforming inappropriate incentives by implementing a new evaluation index system for directors and physicians in public hospitals.

Clarifying the relationship between internet use and public information security risk perception helps us gain a better understanding of the factors influencing public risk ***,the relationship is still *** paper empirically examines the relationship between internet use and information security risk perception based on data from the 2021 Chinese Social *** was found that whether to use the internet and the frequency of use are both significantly positively correlated with the perception of information security *** this basis,the mechanism by which internet use affects public information security risk perceptions is verified from the perspective of interpersonal *** mechanism analysis found that interpersonal trust exerts an indirect effect between internet use and perceived information security *** findings of this study provide new insights for our further understanding of how internet use affects residents'perceptions of securityrisk.

While game theoretic tools have been widely applied to nuclear proliferation and disarmament issues, traditional decision analysis assumes that decision makers, options, and preferences are fixed. A drama theoretic approach is used to overcome these limiting assumptions： Drama Theory （DT） II allows global leaders and national security policy makers to engage in a rational-emotional process of re-defining international security negotiations （and their ＂positions＂ in them） Until agreement on a satisfactory nuclear non-proliferation resolution is reached. The 2009 nuclear energy negotiations between Iran and world powers are modeled with DT II and the Confrontation ManagerTM Decision Support System. By adjusting strategy and deriving transformative security policy, it is shown how international security can be achieved by promoting nuclear non-proliferation and resolving strategic conflict.

Fairness-Embedded Governmental Coordination by Dominated Retailer in Heterogeneous Circumstance

Market demand is positively affected by the investments in marketing and quality improvement. In a retailer dominated supply chain, the manufacturer takes charge of product quality improvement and the retailer focuses on marketing. The investments on cooperative marketing and product quality improvement in supply chains are known to be heterogeneous investment, where the manufacturer(he) is fairness sensitive and the retailer(she) is fairness insensitive. Due to the manufacturer's conservative investment resulting from this sensitivity of fairness, the retailer shares a proportion of the manufacturer's investment to increase his investment. It is found that the manufacturer's fairness negatively affects his investment and the manufacturer sometimes tends to be a ‘free rider' under decentralized decision patterns, which lead to a poor supply chain performance. This study also proves that both the manufacturer and the retailer are motivated to cooperate under centralized patterns,where the retailer's objective is additional expected profit and the manufacturer's objective is enlarging his *** on the comparison of equilibrium solutions in decentralized and centralized patterns, this study suggests the range of cost-sharing proportion for supply chain coordination. The example shows the effectiveness of the provided supply chain coordination.
