Reference gene validation for quantification of gene expression during final oocyte maturation induced by diethylstilbestrol and di-(2-ethylhexyl)-phthalate in common carp

Final oocyte maturation is the key step to successful spawning and fertilization.Quantitative real-time PCR（q PCR） is the technique of election to quantify the abundance of functional genes in such study. Reference gene is essential for correct interpretation of q PCR data. However, an ideal universal reference gene that is stable under all experimental circumstances has not been described. Researchers should validate their reference genes while performing q PCR analysis. The expression of 6 candidate reference genes： 18 s r RNA,28 s r RNA, Cathepsin Z, Elongation factor 1-α, Glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase andβ-actin were investigated during final oocyte maturation induced by different compounds（DES and DEHP） in common carp（Cyprinus carpio）. Four softwares（Bestkeeper, ge Norm,Norm Finder and Ref Finder） were used to screen the most stable gene in order to evaluate their expression stability. The results revealed that EF1α was highly stable expressed when final oocyte maturation was induced by DES, while gapdh was the most stable gene when final oocyte maturation was induced by DEHP. Stable expressed reference gene selection is critical for all q PCR analysis to get accurate target gene m RNA expression information.

The protection schemes of the entanglement in the system of two entangled atoms from nonMarkovian reservoirs via previous Weak measurement(pre-WM) and posterior Weak measurement reversal(post-WMR) are investigated. We firstly compare the effects of combination applying of pre-WM and post-WMR(scheme 1) and twice Weak measurements(WMs)(scheme2) in the condition of different initial entangled states.The analysis indicates that the protection performance of scheme 1 is much better than that of scheme 2. The scheme1 was utilized when the system of two entangled atoms suffers from the independent reservoirs. The numerical results show that the combination of pre-WM and postWMR can effectively enhance entanglement and shorten the time of Entanglement sudden death(ESD) in nonMakovain environment. We have found the optimum of WM strengthens is drastically related to the initial entangled state.

The cross sections for the 94Zr(n,d*)93m+gY,96Zr(n,γ)97Z,96Zr(n,2n)95Zr,90Zr(n,α)87mSr,94Zr(n,α)91Sr,90Zr(n,p)90mY,92Zr(n,p)92Y,and 94Zr(n,p)94Y reactions have been measured in the neutron energy range of 13.5-14.8 MeV by means of the activation technique.The neutrons were produced via the D-T reaction.A high-purity germanium detector with high energy resolution was used to measure the inducedγactivities.In combination with the nuclear reaction theoretical models,the excitation curves of the above-mentioned eight nuclear reactions within the incident neutron energy range from the threshold to 20 MeV were obtained by adopting the nuclear theoretical model program system Talys-1.9.The resulting experimental cross sections were analyzed and compared with the experimental data from published studies.Calculations were performed using Talys-1.9 and are in agreement with our experimental results,previous experimental values,as well as results of the theoretical excitation curves at the corresponding energies.The theoretical excitation curves generally match the experimental data well.

Three unique metal-organic framework coordination polymers, [Eu_2(bptc)(bdc)_2(H_2O)]_n(1), [Gd_2(bptc)(bdc)_2(H_2O)_4]_n(2) and [Dy_2(bptc)(bdc)_2(H_2O)_4]n(3)(1,2-H_2 BDC = 1,2-benzenedicarboylic acid, H_2 bptc = 4,4?-biphenyldicarboxylic acid) were synthesized by mixing two different multi-carboxylic acids with Ln2 O3(Ln = Eu, Gd and Dy) in hydrothermal condition. The three compounds are all three-dimensional and compounds 2 and 3 contain 4.289 × 6.507 ?~2 rectangularshaped one-dimensional open channels along the a direction. Additionally, the magnetic, luminescent and thermogravimetric properties were studied in detail.

Broadband near-infrared(NIR)light sources play a critical role in widespread applications such as advanced spectroscopy analysis and nondestructive testing.One of the most promising techniques is the fabrication of broadband NIR phosphor-converted light emitting diode(pc-LED).However,the purposeful design of a tunable ultra-broadband NIR-emitting phosphor in a single host is still a challenge.In this work,Ga_(2)GeO_(5) with two sites of six-coordinated[Ga1O_(6)]and five-coordinated[Ga2O_(5)]is chosen to host Cr^(3+),successfully producing tunable broadband NIR luminescence(680-1350 nm).It can be tuned largely from 828 to 970 nm with the full-width at half maximum(FWHM)varied from 208 to 258 nm just by simply adjusting the Cr^(3+)-doping content.The tailoring of the Cr^(3+)NIR spectral emission is ascertained to the site occupation preference and competition.The encapsulation of a prototype of NIR pc-LED with an output power of 29.5mW@390 mA is conducted for the implementation of night-vision application.This work provides a novel broadband NIR phosphor by Cr^(3+)-doping in both the sixand five-coordination field,meanwhile,further demonstrating the feasibility of discovering new host material with more than one crystallographic site for Cr^(3+)to trigger tunable broadband NIR emission.

The effects of plasma environments on energies, oscillator strengths, polarizabilities and hyperpolarizabilities for lithium atom have been calculated by combining the l-dependent model potential of free lithium atom and linear variation method based on B-spline basis functions. The influence of plasma on lithium atom is represented by the Debye screened potential, which describes effectively the averaged effect of the plasma environment on atomic spectra. The results are in agreement with other reported ones.

Hα（Balmer-alpha）, Hβ （Balmer-beta） and Hγ （Balmer-gamma） spectral line inten- sities in atomic hydrogen plasma are investigated by using a high-power RF source. The intensities of the Hα, Hβ and Hγ spectral lines are detected by increasing the input power （0-6 kW） of ICPs （inductively coupled plasmas）. With the increase of net input power, the intensity of Hα im- proves rapidly （0-2 kW）, and then reaches its dynamic equilibrium; the intensities of Hβ can be divided into three processes： obvious increase （0-2 kW）, rapid increase （2-4 kW）, almost constant （4-6 kW）; while the intensities of Hγ increase very slowly. The energy levels of the excited hydro- gen atoms and the splitting energy levels produced by an obvious Stark effect play an important role in the results.

The cross-sections for the 175Lu(n,p)175Yb,175Lu(n,α)172Tm,176Lu(n,α)173Tm,175Lu(n,2n)174mLu,and 175Lu(n,2n)174gLu reactions at 13.57,14.0314.62,and 14.86 MeV neutron energies were measured using an activation technique.The theoretical excitation functions of these reactions were calculated using the Talys-1.95 code.The reaction cross-section data experimentally obtained were analyzed and compared with experimental data reported in the literature,data from five major evaluated nuclear data libraries of IAEA,and theoretical values based on Talys-1.95.The data obtained at some neutron energies agree with some of the data reported in the literature and theoretical values based on Talys-1.95.The consistency of the theoretical curves of excitation functions based on Talys-1.95 with the data obtained in this study and those reported in the literature is higher than that of the evaluation curves of excitation functions for the 175Lu(n,p)175Yb,175Lu(n,α)172 Tm,and 176Lu(n,α)173Tm reactions.This study is helpful because it provides new evaluated reaction cross-section data on lutetium(which is a fusion reactor material),improves the quality of neutron-induced reaction cross section data libraries,and advances the research on related applications.

Quasi-two dimensional Ruddlesden−Popper halide perovskites for laser applications

Quasi-two-dimensional(2D)Ruddlesden‒Popper(RP)halide perovskites,as a kind of emerged two-dimensional layered materials,have recently achieved great attentions in lasing materials field owing to their large exciton binding energy,high emission yield,large optical gain,and wide-range tuning of optical bandgap.This review will introduce research progresses of RP halide perovskites for lasing applications in aspects of materials,photophysics,and devices with emphasis on emission and lasing properties tailored by the molecular composition and interface.The materials,structures and fabrications are introduced in the first part.Next,the optical transitions and amplified spontaneous emission properties are discussed from the aspects of electronic structure,exciton,gain dynamics,and interface tailoring.Then,the research progresses on lasing devices are summarized and several types of lasers including VCSEL,DFB lasers,microlasers,random lasers,plasmonic lasers,and polariton lasers are discussed.At last,the challenges and perspectives would be provided.
