A network plan model of ship erection was established based on the network planning technology and the work-package breakdown system. The load-oriented production control method was introduced to build up a throughput diagram model thus it is possible to describe the ship erection process numerically. Based on the digitalized models some cases of production balance of ship erection were studied and three balance indexes were put forward, they are the load balance rate, the input manpower balance rate and the maximum gantry crane operating times. Such an analytic method based on the balance evaluation is the important foundation for digitization and intelligentization of shipyard production management.

A general method to predict the crack propagation of anodic dissolution corrosion fatigue is developed in this paper. Crack propagation of corrosion fatigue is presented as the result of the synergistic interactions of mechanical and environmental factors, and corrosive environment accelerates crack propagation mainly in term of anodic dissolution. By studying the variation of mechanical energy and electrochemical energy of anodic dissolution during the crack propagation process, an explicit expression of crack propagation rate is derived by the conservation of energy. The comparisons with experimental data demonstrate the validity of the proposed model. Moreover, the applicable upper-limit crack length for steady crack propagation is determined and the crack propagation life is evaluated.

Based on the Hamilton principle,dynamic differential equation of the submarine pipeline span,under the interaction of internal flow and external environmental loads,is established. A constraint-equivalent method is used to deal with the boundary conditions of pipeline span on the linear elastic seabed. Effects of the internal flow velocity and seabed stiffness on the pipeline's lateral deformation and bending stress are studied by the static analysis,while the preliminary relationships between the internal flow velocity and the foundation stiffness to the natural frequency of pipeline span are investigated by the dynamic analysis. It is found that the lateral deformation increases with the increment of internal flow velocity,but decreases with the increment of seabed stiffness. The bending stress at the ends of span increases with the increment of internal fluid velocity and the seabed stiffness,however the stress at the middle of the span shows the converse tendency. Moreover,increasing the seabed stiffness or decreasing the internal flow velocity can lead to higher natural frequency. The dynamics response of midpoint of span at different foundations and internal fluid velocities are also given in this paper.

In this paper the large deflection dynamic problems of Euler beams are investigated. The vibration control equations are derived based on the multibody system method. A numerical procedure for solving the resulting differential algebraic equations is presented on the basis of the Newmark direct integration method combined with the Newton-Raphson iterative method. The sub beams are treated as small deformation in the convected coordinate systems, which can greatly simplify the deformation description. The rigid motions of the sub beams are taken into account through the motions of the convected coordinate systems. Numerical ex- amples are carried out, where results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Remote sensing has demonstrated validity in determining the planting year of deciduous fruit trees;however,its effectiveness in ascertaining the planting year of evergreen fruit trees remains ***,the sources of error associated with using remote sensing to determine the planting year of fruit trees remain *** study investigates several cultivated sweet orange(Citrus sinensis)varieties,which are extensively cultivated throughout subtropical *** analyzed Landsat time series data from 132 navel orange orchards in Gannan,covering the period from 1993 to *** each orchard,Google Earth Engine was employed to extract three vegetation indices—Enhanced Vegetation Index(EVI),Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI),and Normalized Burn Ratio(NBR)—for each available date,thereby generating three distinct vegetation index time *** planting year of navel orange trees was identified based on abrupt changes observed in these time *** principal sources of error in determining the planting year were investigated using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test,Spearman's correlation analysis,and Kruskal-Wallis H *** findings include:(1)Following the planting of navel orange trees,EVI,NDVI,and NBR exhibited fluctuations and a gradual increase over time,peaking approximately 10 to 15 years later.(2)The vegetation index time series derived from Landsat imagery effectively determined the planting year of evergreen navel orange trees in orchards,even within highly fragmented *** these indices,NDVI and NBR time series outperformed the EVI time ***,the average determination errors for EVI,NDVI,and NBR time series were 6.4,1.8,and 2.8 years,respectively.(3)Major sources of error included the methods used to construct the time series,the selection of vegetation indices,and the orchard management ***,this study provides a viable method for determining the planting year of evergreen navel orange trees in f

Density effect and intraspecific competition in a leaf-mining moth on bamboo leaves

When confined to a single leaf, the larvae of most leafminers should suffer intense intraspecific competition. The survival and performance of individuals are expected to decline with increasing larval density within a leaf, showing a negative density-dependent effect. The maximum density of an Elachista Treitschke(Lepidoptera:Elachistidae) miner on Indocalamus tessellatus(Munro)Keng f.(Poaceae: Bambusoideae) under natural conditions can be greater than 40 per leaf, making this a good system for studying intraspecific competition and density *** counted the number of leaves with different mine densities in the field and found a clumped distribution of leafminer larvae among host leaves. The emergence rates of pupae(and last-instar larvae), adults and parasitoids were inversely correlated with larval density. Pupal weight and adult weight also showed negative relationships with larval density. However, pairwise tests showed that there might be no differences in pupal or adult weight at larval densities of 1–10 mines per leaf, indicating that densitydependent effects are more obvious at densities greater than 10 mines per leaf. Intraspecific competition could lead to stable density and consistent body size in surviving individual insects, which would help maintain a sustainable population size. The density threshold could be an indicator of the balance between intraspecific competitive detriments and conspecific aggregation benefits; however, the validity of the threshold density hypothesis requires further testing and confirmation.

Validamycin,as a broadly applied antibiotic,has been used to control rice sheath blight ***,validamycin was considered as an insecticide to control agricultural *** into the mechanism of validamycin’s action on insects can provide molecular targets for the control of agricultural *** this study,a toxicological test analysis revealed that Spodoptera litura larval growth and development was significantly inhibited and the pupation rate was significantly reduced with the increase of the concentration of *** to the NMR-based metabolomic analysis,a total of 15 metabolites involved in glycolysis and tricarboxylic acid cycle(TCA)pathways were ***,trehalase activities,glucose and chitin contents were significantly downregulated,but the trehalose content was upregulated after exposure to *** transcription quantitative PCR analysis revealed that the expression level of genes involved in glycolysis,TCA and chitin synthesis were upregulated after treating with *** chitin staining also confirmed that chitin content was downregulated at 12 h after validamycin *** results indicated that validamycin worked via two different molecular mechanisms,one through inhibiting glycometabolism and the other by inhibiting chitin synthesis in *** information lays a theoretical foundation for further control of ***.

Glycine functionalized activated carbon adsorption material(NOPAC-GLY-X)was successfully prepared by one-step thermal decomposition using agricultural waste navel orange peel as a *** batch adsorption experiments,it is found that the adsorption performance of Gd(Ⅲ)on activated carbon can be significantly enhanced by glycine *** adsorption isotherms of the NOPACs conform to the Langmuir isotherm model,and the maximum adsorption capacity of the activated carbon sample NOPAC-Gly-60 is approximately 48.5 mg/*** Gd(Ⅲ)adsorption capacity of navel orange peel activated carbon can be doubled after glycine modification,and the adsorption efficiency of gadolinium can reach99%at pH=*** physicochemical properties of the prepared adsorbents were characterized by Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR),elemental analysis(EA),and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The characterization test shows that the specific surface area of the sample increases from 1121 to 1523 m^(2)/g,and the ratio of(N+O)/C increases from 10.8%to 30.0%by the glycine *** five cycles of adsorption-desorption,the adsorption capacity can still be maintained at 88%of the initial ***-GLY-60 has excellent adsorption selectivity for Gd(Ⅲ).With the obvious advantages of simple synthesis steps and low cost,the activated carbon modification method adopted in this study has great application value in the field of rare earth adsorption and recovery.
