Studying the spatiotemporal variations in ecosystem services and their interrelationships on the Loess Plateau against the background of the gully control and land consolidation(GCLC)project has significant implications for ecological protection and quality development of the Yellow River Basin.Therefore,in this study,we took Yan'an City,Shaanxi Province of China,as the study area,selected four typical ecosystem services,including soil conservation service,water yield service,carbon storage service,and habitat quality service,and quantitatively evaluated the spatiotemporal variation characteristics and trade-offs and synergies of ecosystem services from 2010 to 2018 using the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Trade-offs(InVEST)model.We also analysed the relationship between the GCLC project and regional ecosystem service changes in various regions(including 1 city,2 districts,and 10 counties)of Yan'an City and proposed a coordinated development strategy between the GCLC project and the ecological environment.The results showed that,from 2010 to 2018,soil conservation service decreased by 7.76%,while the other three ecosystem services changed relatively little,with water yield service increasing by 0.56% and carbon storage service and habitat quality service decreasing by 0.16% and 0.14%,respectively.The ecological environment of Yan'an City developed in a balanced way between 2010 and 2018,and the four ecosystem services showed synergistic relationships,among which the synergistic relationships between soil conservation service and water yield service and between carbon storage service and habitat quality service were significant.The GCLC project had a negative impact on the ecosystem services of Yan'an City,and the impact on carbon storage service was more significant.This study provides a theoretical basis for the scientific evaluation of the ecological benefits of the GCLC project and the realization of a win-win situation between food security and ecological security.

land ecological security(LES)is an important part of China’s ecological civilization construction,which plays a vital role in ensuring the sustainable development of its society and economy.Based on the Driving force-Pressure-State-Impact-Response(DPSIR)framework,this study quantified the spatiotemporal changes of LES in 28 counties of the southern Shaanxi Province from 2009 to 2018.The influencing factors of LES in Yangxian County were explored to clarify the mechanisms that rely on the land ecological advantages to develop organic agriculture and boost poverty alleviation.Results show that the LES of Yangxian always ranked in the top six in 28 counties of the southern Shaanxi region during 2009–2018.The LES in Yangxian increased from 0.385 in 2009 to 0.533 in 2018,and the LES level changed from relatively unsafe to safe.The indicators of rural per capita net income,grain output per unit area of arable land,and grazing intensity could explain 99.8%of the LES variance in Yangxian.Relying on ecological resources,Yangxian increased farmers’income and boosted alleviation of poverty through innovative land policies,developing organic agriculture,and rural tourism.These findings will provide theoretical support and model reference for balancing ecological protection and poverty alleviation in restricted development zones.

As an important constitute of land consolidation, high-standard basic farmland construction is an important means to protect the quantity, quality and ecological environment of cultivated land. Its target not only lies in the increase of cultivated land quantity, but also the improvement of cultivated land quality, agricultural production conditions and ecosystem environments. In the present study, the quality evaluation method and construction arrangement of cultivated land were explored to facilitate the process of decision-making and implementation for high-standard basic farmland construction(HSBFC) with administrative village as the unit. Taking the land comprehensive improvement project area in Quzhou County, Handan City, Hebei Province as a case study, the whole process of the study comprised of three steps: 1) establishment of the evaluation model of cultivated land quality uniformity based on regional optimum cultivated land quality, and construction of the uniformity evaluation index system from the aspects of soil fertility quality, engineering quality, spatial quality and eco-environment quality, according to the new concept of cultivated land quality; 2) calculation of cultivated land quality uniformity by grading indicators, assigning scores and weighting sums, exploring the local homogenization characteristics of regional cultivated land quality through spatial autocorrelation analysis, and analyzing the constraints and transformative potential of barrier factors; 3) arrangement of HSBFC according to the principle of concentration, continuity and priority to the easy operation. The results revealed that the value of farmland quality uniformity for the administrative villages in the study area was between 7.76 and 21.96, and there was a difference between various administrative villages. The regional spatial autocorrelation patterns included High-High(HH), Low-Low(LL), High-Low(HL) and Low-High(LH). Urban Expansion in Major Grain Producing Area from 1978 to 2017:A Case Study of Zhengzhou Metropolitan Area,China

The spatial form of urbanization in China has developed from single-core city expansion to a multi-center metropolitan area.However,little attention has been paid to the growth process of the emerging metropolitan area situated in major grain producing locations in the central China.Taking the Zhengzhou metropolitan area(ZZMA)as a case study,we developed an inverse S-shape model to characterize the spatial distribution of urban land density,and constructed an urban expansion core index,urban expansion intensity index,and urban compactness index to quantify the spatial structure change that has taken place from 1978 to 2017 during the process of urban expansion.Moreover,cropland contribution rate(CR)was constructed to evaluate the impacts of urban expansion on croplands.We uncovered four key findings.First,over the past 40 yr,the ZZMA has experienced dramatic expansion,and the central city of Zhengzhou expanded faster than other cities.The gravity centers of urban expansion of surrounding cities were moving toward to Zhengzhou City.Second,the urban land density decreased with the distance from the city center to the outskirts.As the only large city,Zhengzhou has experienced the fastest and most compact centralized urban expansion,especially after 2000,while other medium-and small-sized cities have experienced low-intensity decentralized expansion.Third,the urban core has been gradually expanding outward.From 1978 to 2017,the hot-zone of urban growth has moved progressively with the acceleration of urbanization.All cities except Jiaozuo had a single peak in different periods.Forth,the cities in national core grain-producing areas has higher cropland contribution rates and lower urban expansion areas,which was closely related to cropland protection.Further analysis showed that large city was relatively better positioned than smaller cities in the efficiency of their urban infrastructure and the effectiveness of wealth creation efficiency in the urbanized area could be tested in all cities,and the policy factor seeme

Real-time high-precision positioning and navigation of smart terminals has a huge potential demand in the field of positioning, but for reasons of cost and power consumption, its low-cost global navigation satellite system(GNSS) positioning chips and antennas carrying received satellite observation data are of poor quality, prone to circumferential jumping, and seriously affected by multi-path effects, making it difficult to meet the requirements of high-precision positioning. There is a huge potential demand for real-time high-precision positioning and navigation for smart terminals in the field of positioning. However, for reasons of cost and power consumption,the low-cost global navigation satellite system(GNSS) positioning chips and antennas on which they are mounted receive poor quality satellite observation data, which are prone to circumferential jumping and are seriously affected by multi-path effects, making it difficult to achieve the requirements of highprecision positioning. Meanwhile, with the arrival of 5th Generation Mobile Communication Technology(5G) communication technology, its characteristics of low latency, large bandwidth and large number of connections make it easier to transmit a large amount of GNSS observation data in real time. In order to modify certain smart terminals to meet the demand of high accuracy, combined with 5G high-speed network, A method was proposed to build an plug-in data platform using BeiDou high-precision board + 5G and Bluetooth technology to enhance the accuracy of smart terminal Application(APP) applications. The plug-in data platform is divided into a server module and a user terminal module. The server module continuously receives real-time satellite observation data from the base station. With the excavation of underground opening,the roof rock block may fall under external dynamic disturbance.In this paper,the roof rock mass was simplified as a rock block system composed of trapezoidal rock blocks.A series of experiments and numerical simulations were performed to study the sliding process of the key block under the horizontal static clamping load and vertical impact disturbance.The propagation of stress wave in the block system were captured and analyzed by using high-speed camera and digital image correlation technique.The results reveal that a pendulum-type wave was generated due to the propagation and superposition of stress waves in the block system.Therefore,the governing mechanism of the sliding displacement of the key block was clarified based on the propagation of incident stress waves or pendulum-type waves.Meanwhile,it is found that the sliding distance of the key block decreases in a power function with the increasing friction coefficient,or decreases in a parabolic function with the increasing trapezoid internal angle.Finally,a case study on the roof block sliding of the roadway at a gold mine was conducted,and it is concluded that the sliding of the key block resulted from the coupled effects of"shear driving"and"low friction"driven by stress wave propagation,regardless of a single or multi-layer rock block system.These results may provide technical guideline for preventing rock-falling accidents caused by blasting distur-bances in underground mining.

Studying farmers’behavior affected by economic incentive is necessary to promote positive behavior among farmers toward protecting the quantity,quality,and ecological environment of cultivated land.In this study,we investigated the current situation regarding economic incentive policies for cultivated land protection,which has attracted the attention of Chinese government.Then,we focused on the earliest pilot scheme(i.e.,Cultivated land Protection Fund,CLPF)implemented in the west of China since 2008 to empirically analyze farmers’behavior.Statistical analysis and path analysis methods were applied,with data collected from 296 questionnaires.Our results showed that positive actions,including the enhancement of initiatives to protect cultivated land,the improvement of ecological environment of cultivated land,and the investment in agricultural infrastructure,have been adopted by farmers since the implementation of the CLPF.Furthermore,gender,education level,labor force size,cultivated land area,migration out of traditional farming areas,average annual household income,and farmers’knowledge of the policy impacted significantly on farmers’behavior.On the premise of comprehensive consideration of the diversity of farmers’livelihoods,new communication technologies and sufficient funds,we suggested that a long-term and sustainable project should be established at the national level to effectively compensate farmers.

GNSS Multi-system provide more visible satellites, however, the amount of computation will increase exponentially and the realtime requirement of navigation solution will be affected when all visible satellites are used for computing the three-dimensional position. Reasonable satellite selection algorithm can meet the accuracy of navigation, as well as the efficiency of navigation. Based on this, according to the characteristics and shortcomings of the elevation angle satellite selection algorithm, combined with the representation advantages of Clifford algebra, a rapid satellite selection algorithm based on Clifford algebra is proposed here. The specific idea of the algorithm is as follows: taking the station center as the vertex, combining with the regional division of high, medium, and low angle of the elevation angle satellite selection algorithm, an umbrella matching benchmark model for low angle area to select satellites is constructed based on Clifford algebra;the coordinates of the visible satellites about local Cartesian coordinates coordinate system are calculated, and the multi vector set of visible satellites is constructed based on Clifford algebra theory;the matching threshold angle is calculated according to the designed total number of selected satellites and the number of zenith satellites first. Based on C1 ifford algebra theory, multiple vector sets of visible satellites are constructed. According to the preset total number of selected satellites and the number of top satellites, the matching threshold angle is calculated. Based on the vector angle operation of Clifford algebra, the multiple vector sets visible satellites and the umbrella model are matched and selected satellites. land use structural optimization is an effective approach to realize land sustainable utilization and allocate limited land resource rationally. Grey multiple objectives programming (GMOP) model based on China terrestrial ecosystem service value was constructed and applied to Lilin town. The result shows that GMOP model has more practical applicability and takes ecologic, social and comprehensive benefit into consideration. There are three programs after optimization. Program Ⅰ is comprehensive improvement and constructing ecological economy type, program Ⅱ is gross cultivated land dynamic balance type and program Ⅲ is compromise type. There are still problems in programs Ⅱ and Ⅲ, such as distribution in disorder, land left unused or abandoned. Based on the benefits above, Program Ⅰ>Program Ⅲ> Program Ⅱ. Program Ⅰ is the optimal case. Its comprehensive benefit is 8.43208×107 RMB yuan/a.
