Construction of 3D porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks for ultrafast and long-cycle life sodium-ion storage

Transition metal sulfides have great potential as anode mterials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific ***,the inferior intrinsic conductivity and large volume variation during sodiation-desodiation processes seriously affect its high-rate and long-cyde performance,unbeneficial for the application as fast-charging and long-cycling SIBs ***,the three-dimensional porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks(Cu_(1.81)S/NC)are synthesized by the simple and facile sol-gel and annealing processes,which can accommodate the volumetric expansion of Cu_(1.81)S nanoparticles and accelerate the transmission of ions and electrons during Na^(+)insertion/extraction processes,exhibiting the excellent rate capability(250.6 mA·g^(-1)at 20.0 A·g^(-1))and outstanding cycling stability(70% capacity retention for 6000 cycles at 10.0 A·g^(-1))for ***,the Na-ion full cells coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode also demonstrate the satisfactory reversible specific capacity of 330.5 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0 A·g^(-1)and long-cycle performance with the 86.9% capacity retention at 2.0 A·g^(-1)after 750 *** work proposes a promising way for the conversionbased metal sulfides for the applications as fast-charging sodium-ion battery anode.

Photoinduced radical sulfur dioxide insertion with asymmetric cyclization of alkenes: accessing β-chiral sulfones bearing S-stereocentric cyclic sulfinamides

The generation of various β-chiral sulfones bearing chiral cyclic sulfinamides through photoredox-catalyzed sulfur dioxide insertion with asymmetric radical cyclization is described. This method features a broad substrate scope and excellent stereospecificity. Computational studies reveal that the dispersion interaction between sulfinyl group and CH2SO2Ph group plays a crucial role in the stereoselectivity control.

Recent development in electrode design for wide-temperature supercapacitors

An ever-increasing market demand has stimulated the soaring enthusiasm of researchers to develop wide-temperature supercapacitors(SCs). The active electrode is one of the most important parts of SC, which is directly related to the energy density,power transmission and long-term cyclability of the device in the wide-temperature environment. Compared with the SC electrodes aimed for room-temperature application, the SC electrodes for operating at wide-temperature scene often face greater challenges. In this review, the main challenges of SC electrodes under various temperature conditions, including low, high and cross-fade temperatures, are summarized. The relevant performance decay and failure mechanisms of wide-temperature SC electrodes are analyzed. In addition, this review deals with the recent studies and developments in robust wide-temperature SC electrodes with respect to the rational design of electrode structures and the exploitation of advanced active materials. Finally, the future directions for exploring reliable wide-temperature SCs are also proposed.

Divergent asymmetric synthesis of azaarene-functionalized cyclic alcohols through stereocontrolled Beckwith-Enholm cyclizations

The first enantioselective Beckwith-Enholm cyclization reaction is reported *** cooperative photoredox and chiral hydrogen-bonding catalysis mediated by visible light,cyclization of carbonyls with azaarene-based olefins as a new reaction system offers a general and divergent synthetic pathway to furnish a variety of highly valuable enantioenriched azaarenefunctionalized carbocyclic and heterocyclic alcohols,which bear adjacent 1,2-or nonadjacent 1,3-stereocentres on distinct cyclic frameworks,in high yields and enantio-and *** good compatibility of various azaarenes and carbonyls as well as the diversity of cyclic structures of the products underscores the generality of the catalysis *** addition to the ability to precisely introduce deuterium into molecules in an enantioselective manner,the considerable synthetic value of this method includes the excellent antioxidant stress potential of the *** particular,molecule 29 was determined to be a promising lead compound for antioxidant stress drug design.

Formal or Informal? The Dispute Settlement Mechanisms of China's Free Trade Agreements

The dispute settlement mechanism(DSM) has long been the focus of attention because of its significant role in the institutional construction of China's free trade agreements(FTAs). Thus, this paper is to make an analysis of the DSMs of China's established FTAs from a legal perspective of international regime study, which leads to the finding of a co-existence mode of formal and informal DSMs in China's FTAs. This paper also discusses the motivation and significance of such a choice.

High-lattice-adapted surface modifying Na_(4)MnV(PO_(4))_(3) for better sodium storage

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)are required to possess long cycle life when used for large-scale energy *** polyanionic Na_(4)MnV(PO_(4))_(3)(NMVP)reveals good cyclic stability due to its unique three-dimensional(3D)frame structure,but it still faces the challenge of interfacial degradation in practical *** this work,NASICON-type Na_(1.3)Al_(0.7)Ti_(1.3)(PO_(4))_(3)(NATP)was deposited on the surface of NMVP to promote interface stability by surface modification and gradient *** a result,the optimized NMVP@2%NATP released a capacity retention of 44.8%after 1000 cycles at 5 C,much higher than that of the initial NMVP(28.9%).The enhanced electrochemical performance was mainly attributed to NATP coating acting as a fast ion transport carrier and physical barrier,significantly facilitating the Na^(+)diffusion and isolating side reaction at the electrode/electrolyte *** the other hand,Ti_(4)^(+)and Al^(3+)cations from the NATP were partially doped inside the NMVP surface to boost the transport of Na^(+),and the perfect lattice matching of NVMP and NATP improved the interface and structural stability accompanying long *** work demonstrated the effectiveness of surface modification with high lattice match material and provided new perspectives for high energy density solid-state SIBs.

Diplomatic Discourse Analysis:Translating and Reconstructing“Zhengqueyiliguan”in China-Africa Relations

China's diplomatic discourse is a complicated system underpinned by divergent *** such,the concept of"Zhengque Yi Li Guan"(ZhèngquèYìLìGuān in Pinyin),like numerous other Chinese concepts,is not well *** could be due to the dearth of a uniform official translation and inconsistent ***,this paper seeks to draw awareness to this vital issue that has been neglected in the China-Africa diplomatic *** a way of filling this gap in the literature,the author argues that literal translation is not enough in diplomatic *** of Chinese classical works from texts and dictionaries were carried out to identify the equivalent English words for"Zhengque,""Yi,""Li,"and"Guan."Based on the scope of this paper,emphasis will be placed on"Yi"because it plays a critical role in the"ZhèngquèYìLìGuān"concept and has been the term with the most controversial *** paper uses the critical discourse analysis(CDA)method as its theoretical *** author contends that"justice"(meaning impartiality)is a preferable translation for"Yi"while"interests"is fit for"Li."The article also suggests that"Yi"should be reconceptualized using three approaches:the strategic partnership approach,the international approach,and the regional approach,to represent the realities of current China-Africa relations.

Electronic and Magnetic Properties Modulated by Adsorption of 3d Transition Metal Atoms in Monolayer and Bilayer MoS_2 Sheets

The adsorption effects of 3d transitional metal （TM） adatoms on electronic and magnetic properties of monolayer and bilayer MoS2 sheets have been investigated by using first-principle calculations based on the density functional theory. The calculated results suggest that both monolayer and bilayer MoS2 sheets have power abilities of absorbing 3d TM atoms. The interlayer adsorption of bilayer MoSa is relatively more stable than the surface adsorption of monolayer MoS2. The 3d TM adatoms and the neighboring S atoms behave a clear covalent-binding character. It was found that TM adatoms induce certain impurity states within the band gap of the pristine MoS2 sheet which result in the systems magnetically semiconducting or half metallic. The adsorbed systems for Cr and Co on the surface of monolayer MoS2 sheet, as well as Sc, Cr and Fe in the interlayer of bilayer MoSa sheet exhibit half-metallic behavior. And the other 3d TM- adsorbed systems are magnetic semiconductor except for Ni species.

The Exploration and Contrast of the View of Wittgenstein and Chuang-Tzu on Words and Meanings

Although Wittgenstein and Chuang Tzu lived in utterly different backgrounds of times,geography and culture,they both paid close attention to the relationship between language and the ***'s more,they pointed out that there were indeed many things out of the reach of language,namely,the "unspeakable".The essence of Wittgenstein's early philosophy advocates that one has to remain silent for the unspeakable whereas the"Taoism"of Chuang Tzu,on the premise of the recognition of remaining silent,puts forward the highest state of expressing the"unspeakable"- that is,whether to make a statement or *** the fact that there is a slight difference in textual representation and solutions,there is no doubt that they both focus their philosophical research on the"unspeakable".
