The clinical utility of irinotecan is restricted by individual variability in carboxylesterase *** administration of its active metabolite,7-ethyl-10-hydroxycamptothecin(SN38),presents an appealing alternative due to its potent anti-tumor ***,the undesirable properties of SN38,such as poor water solubility and nontarget toxicity,present significant hurdles to its clinical *** nanoassemblies based on modular design strategy show promise in overcoming these challenges by enhancing drug delivery and selective *** modular design,the modification module plays a crucial role in improving the self-assembly capability of *** current studies mainly focus on using straight aliphatic chains for prodrug design,branched aliphatic chains emerge as superior alternatives warranting further *** this study,we selected 2-heptylundecanol(BAlc18)as modification module to construct an SN38 *** exquisite design,SN38-SS-BAlc18 NPs integrated prominent properties in selfassembly capability,specific activation and biocompatibility,resolving the challenges of irinotecan and SN38,ultimately demonstrating excellent anti-tumor *** exploration enriched the design theory of prodrug nanoassemblies that can effectively balance safety and colorectal anti-tumor efficacy.

Noise-induced hearing loss is the primary non-genetic factor contributing to auditory ***,there are currently no effective pharmacological interventions for patients with noise-induced hearing ***,we present evidence suggesting that the lysine-specific demethylase 1 inhibitor–tranylcypromine is an otoprotective agent that could be used to treat noise-induced hearing loss,and elucidate its underlying regulatory *** established a mouse model of permanent threshold shift hearing loss by exposing the mice to white broadband noise at a sound pressure level of 120 d B for 4 *** found that tranylcypromine treatment led to the upregulation of Sestrin2(SESN2)and activation of the autophagy markers light chain 3B and lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 1 in the cochleae of mice treated with *** noise exposure group treated with tranylcypromine showed significantly lower average auditory brainstem response hearing thresholds at click,4,8,and 16 k Hz frequencies compared with the noise exposure group treated with *** findings indicate that tranylcypromine treatment resulted in increased SESN2,light chain 3B,and lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 1 expression after noise exposure,leading to a reduction in levels of 4-hydroxynonenal and cleaved caspase-3,thereby reducing noise-induced hair cell ***,immunoblot analysis demonstrated that treatment with tranylcypromine upregulated SESN2 expression via the autophagy *** treatment also reduced the production of NOD-like receptor family pyrin domaincontaining 3(NLRP3)*** conclusion,our results showed that tranylcypromine treatment ameliorated cochlear inflammation by promoting the expression of SESN2,which induced autophagy,thereby restricting NLRP3-related inflammasome signaling,alleviating cochlear hair cell loss,and protecting hearing *** findings suggest that inhibiting lysine-specific demethylase 1 is a

Evolution of the registration regulations for proprietary Chinese medicines in china

In this review, we provide a comprehensive overview on the registration of proprietary Chinese medicines(PCMs) in china over the past century by examining published literature and historical data. We will examine this evolving administrative practice for PCMs registration in china, which is divided to the following five stages:(1) initial measures(1915-1948);(2) early development(1949-1965);(3) provincial approval and trial implementation of the "approval number" system(1966-1984);(4) legislation and cleanup(1985-1999); and(5) centralized national approval(2000 until now), offering a panoramic view on the characteristics of PCMs registration management in china.

Eff ects of early standardized enteral nutrition on preventing acute muscle loss in the acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients with mechanical ventilation

BACKGROUND:To investigate the eff ects of early standardized enteral nutrition(EN)on the crosssectional area of erector spine muscle(ESMcsa),plasma growth diff erentiation factor-15(GDF-15),and 28-day mortality of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)patients with invasive mechanical ventilation(MV).METHODS:A total of 97 AECOPD patients with invasive MV were screened in the ICUs of the First People's Hospital of *** conventional EN group(stage Ⅰ)and early standardized EN group(stage Ⅱ)included 46 and 51 patients,*** loss and GDF-15 levels on days 1 and 7 of ICU admission and 28-day survival rates were ***:On day 7,the ESMcsa of the early standardized EN group was significantly higher than that of the conventional EN group,while the plasma GDF-15 levels were significantly lower than those in the conventional EN group(ESMcsa:28.426±6.130 cm^(2) vs.25.205±6.127 cm^(2);GDF-15:1661.608±558.820 pg/mL vs.2541.000±634.845 pg/mL;all P<0.001).The 28-day survival rates of the patients in the early standardized EN group and conventional EN group were 80.40%and 73.90%,respectively(P=0.406).CONCLUSION:ESMcsa loss in AECOPD patients with MV was correlated with GDF-15 levels,both of which indicated acute muscular atrophy and skeletal muscle *** standardized EN may prevent acute muscle loss and intensive care unit-acquired weakness(ICU-AW)in AECOPD patients.

Analysis on the Driving Factors and Realization Path of the Value of Tutor-Student Relationship of Postgraduates-with Medical and pharmaceutical Universities as an Example

A harmonious relationship between teachers and postgraduates presents the comprehensive value of psychological education,which guarantees training quality and acts as an effective carrier of mental health education of the *** on Bandura’s theory of reciprocal determinism and Austin’s input-output theory,this paper constructs a model concerning the value of psychological education in the tutor-student *** path of realization is also explored in a structural equation model through a questionnaire survey of 1112 graduate supervisors and administrators in medical *** experimental result indicates that(1)The interaction between teachers and postgraduates promotes the value of psychological education in the highest measure,among which the quality and frequency of tutor-student communication,mutual trust,and respect act as the key influencing indicators.(2)Tutor’s professional quality is considered as the fundamental driving force in the realization of psychological education value in the tutor-student relationship,the maximum mediating effect is observed in the developing path of tutor’s professional quality-interaction behavior between teachers and postgraduates-psychological growth of teachers and postgraduates.(3)The objective results obtained by teachers and postgraduates,such as the improvement of quality and quantity,positively promote the overall quality of life satisfaction of both sides,which improves the major psychological growth indicators.(4)In the path that affects the psychological growth of teachers and postgraduates,female groups mainly focusing on natural sciences pay more attention to the tutor-student emotional experience,while male and lower-grade groups pay more attention to behavioral interaction;In the path that affects the interaction between teachers and postgraduates,the tutor does not value the difference in the quality of graduate students,lower-grade and natural science professional groups pay more attent

Evaluation of Integrated Production Capacity of Well- facilitated Farmland in Jiangsu Province

The fundamental task of well-facilitated farmland construction is to continuously lift the integrated production capacity. External project construction for well-facilitated farmland can not completely solve existing problems in improvement of intrinsic quality of *** on research findings of integrated production capacity of farmland,starting from basic elements such as water,soil,seed,fertilizer,and pesticide,this paper introduced factors influencing the integrated production capacity of well-facilitated farmland,including natural quality of farmland,supporting infrastructure,agricultural technology level and management level,and labor quality. Besides,it establish an evaluation system for integrated production capacity of well-facilitated farmland in Jiangsu Province by Analytic Hierarchy Process( AHP),and made an empirical study using indicator data of 2010- 2014. Results indicated that the general index of integrated production capacity of farmland in Jiangsu Province in 2010- 2014 was ascending,reflecting improvement of integrated production capacity of farmland. With the aid of radar map,it further found that the coupling between water,soil,seed,fertilizer,and pesticide and other elements play a crucial role in lifting the integrated production capacity of farmland. Finally,based on existing problems in construction of well-facilitated farmland in Jiangsu Province,it came up with some pertinent recommendations from the perspective of coordinated development of all elements.

Study on Carbon Emission Efficiency Evaluation and Influencing Factors of Chinese pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry

To measure the carbon emission efficiency of china’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, explore the factors affecting the carbon emission efficiency of china’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, and provide reference for improving the carbon emission efficiency of china’s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry and promoting the government to formulate macro policies. Based on the data of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in 30 provinces of china from 2010 to 2019, and based on the SBM model and ML (Malmquist-Luenberger) index model, the carbon emission efficiency of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry was calculated and its dynamic change was investigated, and the Tobit model was further used to explore the influencing factors of the carbon emission efficiency of the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The carbon emission efficiency of china’s inter-provincial pharmaceutical manufacturing industry has steadily improved. The carbon emission efficiency of the eastern region is higher than that of the western region, and that of the western region is higher than that of the central region. The eastern region is dominated by technological progress, and there is room for improvement in technological efficiency. The central and western regions are dominated by technological efficiency. Compared with technological efficiency, technological progress needs to be further improved. Environmental regulation, industrial agglomeration and technological innovation level positively affect carbon emission efficiency, while foreign investment level has no significant impact on carbon emission efficiency.

Rate of Patient Delay among Students with Pulmonary Tuberculosis in china: A Meta-Analysis

Objective: To systematically review the rate of patient delay of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) patients among students in china. Methods: Databases including Web of Science Core Collection, PubMed, The Cochrane Library, CBM, CNKI, VIP, and WANFANG DATA were electronically searched to collect cross-sectional studies on the incidence of delayed consultation in students with PTB in china from January 1, 2000, to November 15, 2022. Two researchers independently screened studies, extracted data, and assessed the risk of bias of the included studies. Meta-analysis was then performed by Stata 16.0 software. Results: In total, 60 cross-sectional studies with 260,707 cases involving 136,701 delayed consultation PTB patients were included. The results of meta-analysis showed that the rate of patient delay was 46.4% (95% CI 44.3% to 48.4%) among students with PTB in china. Results of subgroup analyses showed that: 1) The rates were 46.8% and 50.4% for male and female students, respectively. 2) The rates for the East, Central and West parts of china were 42.3%, 45.6% and 50.5%, respectively. 3) The rates were increased first and then decreased during 2007 to 2020. 4) The rates of students from primary school, junior high school, senior high school and university were 50.3%, 49.8%, 40.7% and 44.9%, respectively. 5) The rates for the Han and the other nationalities were 50.3% and 53.9%, respectively. 6) The rates for local and non-local students were 47.2% and 50.5%, respectively. 7) The rates of patients detected by consultation due to symptoms, recommendation due to symptoms, referral, tracking and healthy physical examination were 50.5%, 51.6%, 46.6%, 55.6% and 16.2%, respectively. 8) The rates of patients with initial PTB and retreatment PTB were 53.1% and 59.6%, respectively. 9) The rates of patients with positive etiology, negative etiology and without etiological results were 55.9%, 47.0% and 51.6%, respectively. 10) The rates of severe and non-severe patients were 59.4% an

Advancement of Pharmacy Accreditation in the Field of Chinese Higher Education

Background: The last two decades have witnessed the advancement of accreditation of Chinese higher education, with pharmacy programs being one of the most important. The purpose of this research was to review and elucidate the evolution of the pharmacy accreditation system in china. Methods: A literature search was conducted using PubMed, CINAHL, Embase, Cochrane databases and Google Scholar and CKNI databases, the website of the Working Committee for the Accreditation of Medical Education, and related university websites. Search terms used with each database were “accreditation” AND “pharmacy” AND “china”. The search strategy was designed to identify studies that report pharmacy program accreditation in china. Results: The primary outcomes indicate that the timeline of current Chinese pharmacy accreditation can be divided into four distinct chronological periods. Conclusion: After two decades of evolution, the qualification of the pharmaceutical program in china has significantly advanced its committees, criteria, methods, and systems, though with areas for refinement. As china embarks upon the process of pharmacy accreditation, it is simultaneously drawing upon lessons from the developed world, as well as infusing the process with its own distinct cultural identity. To effectively tackle current issues in the field of pharmacy accreditation, a commitment to continual quality advancement is required.
