Environmental,social,and governance(ESG)performance,along with the novelty of innovation,are significant factors in promoting sustainable development for *** study employs the Heckman two-stage model to examine the impact of ESG performance on innovation novelty using a dataset comprising A-share listed companies in the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Ex-changes from 2011 to *** results indicate that enhanced ESG performance significantly fosters innovation by expanding innovation resources and mitigating agency *** analysis reveals that this relationship is more pronounced under high economic policy uncer-tainty,a challenging information environment,elevated financing constraints,and in the context of digital *** study not only expands the research on the economic implications of ESG performance for enterprise innovation behavior but also places a distinct emphasis on innovation quality rather than ***,this study enriches the existing literature on the factors influencing innovation novelty and extends research into the link between envi-ronmental protection and firm innovation,particularly from the perspective of stakeholder ***,this study holds practical significance for governments aiming to enhance ESG evaluation systems and establish guiding policies that encourage novel innovations,ultimately contributing to sustainable and high-quality ***,this study provides guidance to enterprises by encouraging them to embrace green development,improve social responsibility,and elevate their governance standards to promote innovation quality.

1 Introduction Under real-world haze conditions,the existence of haze particles in the atmosphere reduces the visibility of captured ***,the noise is inevitably introduced into the degraded image,which further deteriorates the visual quality of the *** enhance the visibility and quality of outdoor real-world hazy images,numerous algorithms have been proposed to remove haze from a single input *** existing methods are broadly lumped into two categories:prior-based methods[1,2]and learning-based methods[3–6].Unfortunately,the widely used atmospheric scattering model and the corresponding haze removal methods fail to take the noise interference into account,which may result in poor visibility restoration performance.

Intercultural trust in global contexts plays a central role in helping people from different cultures to communicate comfortably,which is essential for *** to construct a framework that might foster international cooperation,and thus be helpful for coping with global emergencies,we relate a Western nomological approach to an Eastern systems approach to analyse intercultural trust in global *** cultural impacts on intercultural trust and the nomological framework of cultural differences,we propose an intercultural trust model to interpret how cultural differences influence trust.A qualitative study of Chinese-Irish interactions was conducted to interpret this *** organized 10 seminars on intercultural trust,and interviewed 16 people to further explore the respondents'deeper feelings and experiences about intercultural trust in global *** this study,we have identified factors impacting on intercultural trust,and found that intercultural trust can be developed and improved in various *** llustrate these ways,we have provided tactics and methods for building intercultural trust in global *** are highlighted for organizations to avoid cultural clashes and relevant political or economic risks.

Coordinative development across various systems,particularly the economic,social,cultural,and human resources subsystems,is a key aspect of urban sustainability and has a direct impact on the quality of *** Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle,comprising Hangzhou City,Huzhou City,Jiaxing City,and Shaoxing City,was the first metropolitan circle approved by the National Development and Reform Commission(NDRC)as a demonstration of economic transformation in *** evaluate the coupling coordination degree of the four cities and analyze the coordinative development in three systems(including digital economy,regional innovation,and talent employment),we collected panel data during 2015–2022 from these four *** development level of the three systems was evaluated by the standard deviation method and comprehensive development *** results are as follows:(1)the level of coupling coordinated development of the three systems in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle was relatively low;(2)the coupling coordination degree of the four cities in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle showed significant regional differences,among which Hangzhou City was in the leading position,and Huzhou,Jiaxing,and Shaoxing cities made steady but slow progress in the coupling development of the three systems;and(3)the development of digital economy and talent employment needs to be *** study contributes to the coordinative development of Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle by innovatively focusing on the coupling coordination relationship among digital economy,regional innovation,and talent employment,which also meets the industrial layout of Hangzhou Metropolitan *** this way,the optimal allocation and sustainable development of digital economy,regional innovation,and talent employment in the Hangzhou Metropolitan Circle can be achieved.

In this paper,we focus on small business enterprises(SBEs)that usually have low market power but can rely on retailers to transact sales and gain the ability to disclose quality ***,consumer loss aversion(CLA)is pronounced when buying from SBEs that have yet to develop a strong reputation and uncertain *** focus on two competing SBEs with heterogeneous quality levels and discuss their quality disclosure strategiesd whether selling through a retailerd in the context of *** study the interaction between consumers'prior belief in product quality and CLA and how these factors affect equilibrium *** show that a situation in which low-quality and high-quality SBEs both choose to disclose will not occur under a neutral consumer attitude,i.e.,it happens only when the aversion level is *** the aversion level is low,either the low-quality SBE or the high-quality SBE will decide to disclose,and the disclosing party depends on the prior *** addition,CLA significantly impacts the monotonicity of both SBEs'and retailers'prices and profits relating to the consumers'prior beliefs.

This study investigates the impact of online-to-offline(O2O)platforms,such as *** and Meituan,on offline sales in low-frequency-high-consumption industries,specifically a mid-to-highend liquor distribution *** data from 77 offline stores in Beijing collected during 2019-2022,the study employs a VAR model to analyze the relationship between offline sales and the use of O2O *** results reveal a long-term equilibrium between the two,with most indicators showing a positive impact of O2O platforms on offline *** research provides valuable insights for lowfrequency-high-consumption enterprises in making multi-channel decisions and quantifies the impact of O2O platforms on offline sales.

Following the framework of E-N model(Eisenberg and Noe,2001),the authors consider a new clearing mechanism based on net liabilities among financial institutions since the liabilities between the counterparties should be deducted accordingly when clearing in *** the basis for systemic risk measurement,similar to the original E-N model,the authors first establish some good properties for the clearing payment vector according to a more general ***,the authors investigate how risk spreads among institutions through the liability network forming the risk contagion ***,the authors illustrate with a specific example that the original E-N clearing mechanism may misidentify the systemic important institutions,and theoretically show that it may also overestimate the risk compared with the netting clearing mechanism.

A New Tri-channel Decomposition of External Adjustment: Model and Application

In this study, we expanded upon the current benchmark model of external adjustment and dissected the concept of international financial adjustment into two distinct components: valuation effect and investment income. Our enhanced model, which we refer to as “tri-channel model,” incorporates three key elements: trade balance, valuation effect, and investment income. Using a consolidated quarterly dataset that encompassed China's balance of payments and international investment positions from 1998 to 2020, we estimated the relative importance of the three newly introduced adjustment channels to China's cyclical external imbalance. We found that the trade balance channel played a major role, accounting for approximately 76 percent of cyclical external adjustment. The contribution of the investment income channel to cyclical external adjustment (21 percent) was much greater than that of the valuation effect channel (3 percent). These findings imply that policy responses to the cyclical external imbalance in China should focus more on the trade balance and investment incomes channels rather than exploiting the valuation effects.
