Sentiment Analysis of Japanese Tourism Online Reviews

Purpose: Online reviews on tourism attractions provide important references for potential tourists to choose tourism spots. The main goal of this study is conducting sentiment analysis to facilitate users comprehending the large scale of the reviews, based on the comments about Chinese attractions from Japanese tourism website 4 Travel.Design/methodology/approach: Different statistics-and rule-based methods are used to analyze the sentiment of the reviews. Three groups of novel statistics-based methods combining feature selection functions and the traditional term frequency-inverse document frequency(TF-IDF) method are proposed. We also make seven groups of different rulesbased methods. The macro-average and micro-average values for the best classification results of the methods are calculated respectively and the performance of the methods are shown.Findings: We compare the statistics-based and rule-based methods separately and compare the overall performance of the two method. According to the results, it is concluded that the combination of feature selection functions and weightings can strongly improve the overall performance. The emotional vocabulary in the field of tourism(EVT), kaomojis, negative and transitional words can notably improve the performance in all of three categories. The rule-based methods outperform the statistics-based ones with a narrow advantage.Research limitation: Two limitations can be addressed: 1) the empirical studies to verify the validity of the proposed methods are only conducted on Japanese languages; and 2) the deep learning technology is not been incorporated in the methods.Practical implications: The results help to elucidate the intrinsic characteristics of the Japanese language and the influence on sentiment analysis. These findings also provide practical usage guidelines within the field of sentiment analysis of Japanese online tourism reviews.Originality/value: Our research is of practicability. Underwater magnetic induction(MI)-assisted acoustic cooperative multiple-input-multipleoutput(MIMO) has been recently proposed as a promising technique for underwater wireless sensor networks(UWSNs).For the more,the energy utilization of energy-constrained sensor nodes is one of the key issues in UWSNs,and it relates to the network lifetime.In this paper,we present an energy-efficient data collection for underwater MI-assisted acoustic cooperative MIMO wireless sensor networks(WSNs),including the formation of cooperative MIMO and relay link establishment.Firstly,the cooperative MIMO is formed by considering its expected transmission range and the energy balance of nodes with it.Particularly,from the perspective of the node’s energy consumption,the expected cooperative MIMO size and the selection of master node(MN) are proposed.Sequentially,to improve the coverage of the networks and prolong the network lifetime,relay links are established by relay selection algorithm that using matching theory.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed data collection improves its efficiency,reduces the energy consumption of the master node,improves the networks’ coverage,and extends the network lifetime.

1 Introduction Software evolves with the code change,including fixing the vulnerabilities,refactoring the software and adding new functions.Particularly,developers from open-source projects often look for the information of inducing commits when devising the fixing patches of a vulnerability[1].In the process of fixing the current vulnerabilities,it is inevitable to introduce new vulnerabilities.As is shown in Fig.1,after vulnerability1 occurs,developers committed the code changes to fix vulnerability1,but cause vulnerability2.In this paper,commits that introduce new vulnerabilities are called vulnerability-inducing commits,and commits that finally fix the vulnerability are known as vulnerability-fixing commits.In the following,they are abbreviated as vul-inducing commits and vul-fixing commits,respectively.

Coalition Game Based Full-Duplex Concurrent Scheduling in Millimeter Wave Wireless Backhaul Network

With the development of self-interference(SI) cancelation technology, full-duplex(FD) communication becomes possible. FD communication can theoretically double the spectral efficiency. When the time slot(TS) resources are limited and the number of flows is large, the scheduling mechanism of the flows becomes more important. Therefore, the effectiveness of FD scheduling mechanism for the flows is studied in millimeter wave wireless backhaul network with the limited TS resources. We proposed a full duplex concurrent scheduling algorithm based on coalition game(FDCG) to maximize the number of flows with their QoS requirements satisfied. We transformed the problem of maximizing the number of flows with their QoS requirements satisfied into the problem of maximizing sum rate of concurrently scheduled flows in each slot. We obtained the scheduled flows with maximum sum rate in first slot by using coalition game.And then with certain restrictions, the maximum sum rate of concurrently scheduled flows can also be achieved in subsequent time slots. The simulation results show that the proposed FDCG algorithm canachieve superior performance in terms of the number of flows that meet their QoS requirements and system throughput compared with other three algorithms.

采矿活动诱发的岩爆可引起矿区内强烈的振动和严重的岩石破坏。结合微震多参数、大震级事件分布与层析成像特征综合井下分析,综合为一种较好的预警方法。首先,在中国陕西某地下矿山建立了自主研发的微震监测系统。然后,根据层析成像计算结果得出了波速场异常与采矿活动区的关联模型,初步确定了可能存在风险的区域与采矿活动的特征。此外,对b值、S值、成像结果、大震级微震事件分布及陕西矿区795和860水平现场调查情况等多个因素进行了分析。根据该矿山6月7日岩爆案例,将795至860水平现场的多个区域进行对比分析,从工程角度发现了潜在的不安全区域,对安全施工管理提供了参考。微震监测系统可作为一个危险预警的手段,具有广泛的应用前景。

Proposing a novel comprehensive evaluation model for the coal burst liability in underground coal mines considering uncertainty factors

Coal burst is a severe hazard that can result in fatalities and damage of facilities in underground coal mines.To address this issue,a robust unascertained combination model is proposed to study the coal burst hazard based on an updated database.Four assessment indexes are used in the model,which are the dynamic failure duration(DT),elastic energy index(WET),impact energy index(KE)and uniaxial compressive strength(RC).Four membership functions,including linear(L),parabolic(P),S and Weibull(W)functions,are proposed to measure the uncertainty level of individual index.The corresponding weights are determined through information entropy(EN),analysis hierarchy process(AHP)and synthetic weights(CW).Simultaneously,the classification criteria,including unascertained cluster(UC)and credible identification principle(CIP),are analyzed.The combination algorithm,consisting of P function,CW and CIP(P-CW-CIP),is selected as the optimal classification model in function of theory analysis and to train the samples.Ultimately,the established ensemble model is further validated through test samples with 100%accuracy.The results reveal that the hybrid model has a great potential in the coal burst hazard evaluation in underground coal mines.

In this paper,a peridynamic model for simulating the dynamic fracture in layered engineered cementitious composites(LECC)is applied.The model takes into account the location information of the fibers as well as the distribution form.In addition,numerical simulations of LECC beams under four-point bending are carried out.The effects of notch size and fiber volume fraction are investigated.The numerical results show that the notch size and gradient distribution of fiber volume fraction affect the crack propagation pattern,which can help to understand the dynamic fracture behavior of engineered cementitious composites.

Novel algorithm for detection and identification of radioactive materials in an urban environment

This study introduces a novel algorithm to detect and identify radioactive materials in urban settings using time-series detector response data. To address the challenges posed by varying backgrounds and to enhance the quality and reliability of the energy spectrum data, we devised a temporal energy window. This partitioned the time-series detector response data, resulting in energy spectra that emphasize the vital information pertaining to radioactive materials. We then extracted characteristic features of these energy spectra, relying on the formation mechanism and measurement principles of the gammaray instrument spectrum. These features encompassed aggregated counts, peak-to-flat ratios, and peak-to-peak ratios. This methodology not only simplified the interpretation of the energy spectra's physical significance but also eliminated the necessity for peak searching and individual peak analyses. Given the requirements of imbalanced multi-classification, we created a detection and identification model using a weighted k-nearest neighbors(KNN) framework. This model recognized that energy spectra of identical radioactive materials exhibit minimal inter-class similarity. Consequently, it considerably boosted the classification accuracy of minority classes, enhancing the classifier's overall efficacy. We also executed a series of comparative experiments. Established methods for radionuclide identification classification, such as standard KNN, support vector machine, Bayesian network, and random tree, were used for comparison purposes. Our proposed algorithm realized an F1 measure of 0.9868 on the time-series detector response data, reflecting a minimum enhancement of 0.3% in comparison with other techniques. The results conclusively show that our algorithm outperforms others when applied to time-series detector response data in urban contexts.

Research on Soft Man Component Dynamic Evolution System and Its Distributed Multi-tasks Collaboration Mechanism Based on Game Theory

Taking the technical requirements for the dynamicity and flexibility of software system in open network environment as cut-in points, this paper put forward a novel dynamic component model named Soft Man component(SMC) which was well-formed and evolvable.And then a distributed multi-task collaboration mechanism based on game theory in Soft Man component dynamic evolution system is put forward in order to maximize the utilization of computing resources and resolve multi-tasks collaboration problem. Three kinds of experiments are designed to test the feasibility, robustness and performance of distributed multi-tasks collaboration mechanism. Results show that distributed multi-tasks collaboration mechanism based on game theory has a higher success rate and accuracy with good algorithm stability and reliability.
