The structural and magnetic properties of the Nd_(2)Co_(17-x)Mn_(x)(x≤14)compounds have been investigated by means of x-ray diffraction and magnetization *** Nd_(2)Co_(17-x)Mn_(x)(x≤14)compounds have a rhombohedral Th2Zn17-type *** unit-cell volume increases with increasing *** Curie temperature and the saturation magnetization of these compounds show a marvelous drop with increasing *** spin reorientation is observed at about 190 K in the Nd_(2)Co_(15)Mn_(2) compound.

With the internet development, querying data on the Web is an attention problem of involving information from distributed, and often dynamically, related Web sources. Basically, some subqueries can be effectively cached from previous queries or materialized views in order to achieve a better query performance based on the notion of rewriting queries. In this paper, we propose a novel query-rewriting model, called Hierarchical Query Tree, for representing Web queries. Hierarchical Query Tree is a labeled tree that is suit able for representing the inherent hierarchy feature of data on the Web. Based on Hierarchical Query Tree, we use case based approach to determine what the query results should be. The definitions of queries and query results are both re presented as labeled trees. Thus, we can use the same model for representing cases and the medium query results can also be dynamically updated by the user queries. We show that our case-based method can be used to answer a new query based on the combination of previous queries, including changes of requirements and various information sources.

Polarization manipulation of light is of great importance because it could promote development of wireless communications,biosensing,and polarization *** order to use natural light more efficiently,it is highly demanded to design and fabricate high performance asymmetric polarization converters which could covert the natural light to one particular linearly polarized light with high ***,polarizers could be achieved by controllers with crystals and polymers exhibiting ***,the polarizers are bulky in size and the theoretical conversion efficiency of the polarizers is limited to 0.5 with unpolarized light *** this paper,we propose a polarization converter which could preserve high transmission for one linearly polarized light and convert the orthogonal linearly polarized light to its cross-polarized with high transmittance based on a multi-layer chiral *** results show that normally incident y-polarized light preserves high transmittance for the wavelength range from 685 nm to 800 nm while the orthogonal normally incident x-polarized light is efficiently converted to the y-polarized light with high transmittance from 725 nm to 748 ***,for unpolarized light incidence,transmittance larger than 0.5 has been successfully achieved in a broadband wavelength range from 712 nm to 773 nm with a maximum transmittance of 0.58 at 732 nm.

The polycrystalline samples PrNi5_xCox （x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4） were synthesized by arc smelting and high energy ball milling method. The phase structure, morphology, saturation magnetization and electromagnetic parameters of the alloy powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM）, vibrating sample magnetomctry （VSM） and vector network analyzer （VNA）, respectively. The results revealed that the lattice parameter a and c and unit-cell volume V increased with the increasing amount of Co substitution. The saturation magnetization increased as Co content increased. The minimum absorp- tion peak frequency shifted towards lower frequency region with the increasing amount of Co substitution. And the minimum reflec- tion loss of the PrNi5 xCox powders increased first and then decreased with the increasing amount of Co substitution. The PrNisCox alloys possessed the excellent microwave absorbing properties. The minimum reflection loss of the ***0,1 alloy all could reach 20.0 all3 with the coating thickness ranging from 1.8 to 3 ram. The minimum reflection loss of ***.l powders was -36.20 d13 at 7.76 GHz, and the frequency bandwidth ofR〈10 dB reached about 1.50 GHz with the best matching condition d=2.0 ram.

Governments that procure pharmaceutical products from an Essential Medicine List(EML)bear special responsibility for the quality of these *** this article we examine the possibility of developing a pharmaceutical product quality risk assessment scheme for use by government procurement *** use the Chinese EML as a basis,and US recall data is examined as it is publically *** is justified as the article is only concerned with inherent product quality *** establishing a link between Chinese essential medicines and those available in the US,we examine US recall data to separate product specific *** conclude that,in addition to existing manufacturing based risks,there are two other product specific risks that stand out from all others,degradation and dissolution *** for relative product risk for degradation is needed to be developed and further work is required to better understand dissolution failures which largely occur with modified-release solid oral *** conclude that a product specific quality risk profile would be enhanced by including a risk assessment for degradation for all products,and in the case of solid oral products,dissolution.

We show some new results on the observability of Boolean control networks(BCNs). First, to study the observability, we combine two BCNs with the same transition matrix into a new BCN. Then, we propose the concept of a reachable set that results in a given set of initial states, and we derive four additional necessary and sufficient conditions for the observability of BCNs. In addition, we present an algorithm and construct an observability graph to determine the observability of BCNs. Finally, we illustrate the obtained results using three numerical examples.

The non-destructive testing(NDT)of debonding in stainless steel composites plate(SSCP)is performed by infrared thermography,finite element analysis(FEA)software ANSYS is taken as the simulative tool,and 2D simulative model has been set up to investigate effect of the thickness of coating and/or substrate on the detectibility of debonging in *** parameters,namely the maximum defect temperature difference and defect appearing index,are defined to evaluate the detectivity of defects,and their computational methods and formulas are given *** preliminary changing tendency of the maximum defect temperature difference and defect appearing index with the thickness of coating and/or substrate is found by numerical simulation.

On the basis of the exact resultant solution of two dimensional Poisson’s equations,a new accurate two-dimensional analytical model comprising surface channel potentials,a surface channel electric field and a threshold voltage for fully depleted asymmetrical dual material gate double-gate strained-Si MOSFETs is successfully developed. The model shows its validity by good agreement with the simulated results from a two-dimensional numerical *** offering a physical insight into device physics,the model provides basic design guidance for fully depleted asymmetrical dual material gate double-gate strained-Si MOSFETs.
