We consider the conserved charge of static black holes with squashed horizons in the Einstein-Maxwell-dilaton theory via both the Abbott-Deser-Tekin （ADT） method and its off-shell generalization. We first make use of the original ADT method to compute the mass of the dilaton squashed black holes in terms of three different reference spacetimes, which are the asymptotic geometry, the flat background and the spacetime of the Kaluza- Klein monopole with boundary matched to the original metric, respectively. Each mass satisfies the first law of black hole thermodynamics, although the mass computed on the basis of the boundary matching the Kaluza- Klein monopole is different from that of the other two reference spacetimes. Then the mass of the black holes is evaluated through the off-shell generalized ADT method.

Religious people have participated in social service for a long time,and the spreading of the theory of "Engaged Buddhism"provides Charity work with much legitimacy among religious people. This paper uses three Buddhist NPO s as cases: "Classics Reading Class","H ui Ji Temple Charity ",and "H ome of Friends of Buddhism",tries to find what are the supporting theory of the three NPO s,howdo they motivate charity funds and volunteers,their activities,and their relationship with government. We find,the three NPO s use "Engaged Buddhism"as their leading theory,and they use charity and philanthropy to stimulate participants to serve people and society,combining belief with practice. Besides,in current circumstance,we also notice that the NPO s showthe characters of making a comprise with government and secular society.

This paper studies the impact of increased travelling efficiency on“innovation collaboration”between *** exploits China's recent high-speed railway(HSR)connections in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban *** paper instrumented HSR connections using the postal routes of the Yuan Dynasty and measured innovation collaboration using detailed information on patent applicants and *** results show that HSRs led to an increase in innovation collaboration by 121.7 percent from 1998 to 2016,and their overall quality increased by *** comparisonwith universities(public sector),thepaperfound that private sector firms'patent outcomes showed a larger increase in both quantity and quality after the HSR ***,we found that the teams of researchers whose members changed after the HSR connection benefited the most in comparison with both continuing teams and newly formed *** results prove that HSRs contributed to the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban *** results remained robustusingalternativemodel specifications.

The relationship between financial system, law framework or economic growth has attracted considerable attention for years. However, there are some questions still remaining unanswered: between tangible assets protection and intellectual property protection, which is more important? Between external financing and property rights protection, which does play a greater role for the economic development? According to the dynamic stochastic general equilibrium(DSGE) model with non-free market factors, we study the effectiveness of property protection and external financing, and try to answer these questions. The model fits the data well, and we find:(1) protection of intellectual property plays a more important role than that of tangible asset, in the promotion of economy;(2) relaxation of financial constraints on corporate is more effective in the short run, while the protection of intellectual property is more effectual in the long term.

Although China’s local governments are facing greater financial pressure,they often sell industrial land at low prices to attract *** government land transfer strategies refl ect driving mechanisms of officials’*** on the micro data of about 340000 industrial land sales in 289 prefecture-level cities in China from 2006 to 2015,this paper divides industrial land transfer into two categories,namely land transfer with the aim of attracting investment and normal transfer,according to whether the transfer price is lower than the minimum price stipulated by central *** paper explores the strategies of industrial land transfer under financial pressure and the motivation differences of officials with the help of changes in local land transfers after the introduction of economic stimulus *** is found that financial pressure will signifi cantly reduce local industrial land transfer with the aim of investment ***,after the introduction of economic stimulus policies,although financial pressure has increased,the infl uence of financial pressure on local governments’investment-induced land transfer behavior significantly weakened due to the increase of out-of-system financing channels,thus industrial land transfer with the aim of attracting investment has increased signifi *** the perspective of promotion incentives of officials,officials with longer term were more inclined to sell industrial land to attract ***,it is necessary to rationally arrange the financial resources and powers of central and local governments,to adapt reasonable macro control method and strategy,and to build an offi cial evaluation system that meets the needs of high-quality development.

Do significant risk warnings in annual reports increase corporate bond credit spreads? Evidence from China

Based on listed companies issuing bonds on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges from 2007 to 2017, this study analyzes the relationship between significant risk warnings in Chinese companies’ annual reports and corporate bond credit spreads. The main findings are as follows. First, in the Chinese market, ‘‘substantial warnings of significant risks' can significantly improve corporate bond credit spreads, reflecting the risk-warning effect;second,state-owned property rights weaken this effect, which only pertains to listed companies with poor risk management and low information quality;third, significant risk warnings increase investors’ heterogeneous beliefs, also affecting credit spreads;and fourth, through textual analysis, it is found that the corporate bond credit spread is greater when the disclosed risk factors are more pessimistic and less similar to those of the previous year. The findings of this paper help to enrich the literature on credit spreads and risk disclosure.

The key to fighting serious pollution does not lie entirely in emergency response itself;more attention should be paid before serious pollution occurs to minimize *** on the theory of Risk Society,the author suggests that China should establish a legal system for emergency response focusing on early warning of and early response to serious pollution.
