Atrazine causes concern due to its resistant to biodegradation and could be accumulated in aquatic organisms,causing pollution in *** study measured the concentration of atrazine in ice and the water under ice through a simulated icing experiment and calculated the distribution coefficient K to characterize its migration ability in the freezing ***,density functional theory(DFT)calculations were employed to expatiate the migration law of atrazine during icing *** to the results,it could release more energy into the environment when atrazine staying in water phase(-15.077 kcal/mol)than staying in ice phase(-14.388 kcal/mol),therefore it was beneficial for the migration of atrazine from ice to *** explains that during the freezing process,the concentration of atrazine in the ice was lower than that in the *** calculations indicated thatwhen the temperature decreases from268 to 248 K,the internal energy contribution of the compound of atrazine and ice molecule(water cluster)decreases at the same vibrational frequency,resulting in an increase in the free energy difference of the compound from-167.946 to-165.390 kcal/*** demonstrated the diminished migratory capacity of *** study revealed the environmental behavior of atrazine during lake freezing,which was beneficial for the management of atrazine and other pollutants during freezing and environmental protection.

The elliptic curve cryptography algorithm represents a major advancement in the field of computer security. This innovative algorithm uses elliptic curves to encrypt and secure data, providing an exceptional level of security while optimizing the efficiency of computer resources. This study focuses on how elliptic curves cryptography helps to protect sensitive data. Text is encrypted using the elliptic curve technique because it provides great security with a smaller key on devices with limited resources, such as mobile phones. The elliptic curves cryptography of this study is better than using a 256-bit RSA key. To achieve equivalent protection by using the elliptic curves cryptography, several Python libraries such as cryptography, pycryptodome, pyQt5, secp256k1, etc. were used. These technologies are used to develop a software based on elliptic curves. If built, the software helps to encrypt and decrypt data such as a text messages and it offers the authentication for the communication.

Yttrium（Y） accumulation in soil is a serious environment problem in China. To understand the mechanisms involved in Y tolerance and detoxification in rice seedling, the bioaccumulation, subcellular distribution, and chemical forms of Y was investigated in the present study. The results show that the content of Y both in roots and shoots increases with the increasing concentration of Y, and a large amount of Y is stored in roots. Subcellular distribution of Y in rice indicates that the majority of Y is bound to cell wall. Meanwhile, various chemical forms of Y is absorbed by rice. The greatest amount of Y is extracted by 2% hydrate acetic acid（HAc） and 0.6 mol/L HCl（particularly 2% HAc）, which indicates that most of Y is combined with un-dissolved phosphate and oxalate（particularly phosphate）. Cluster analysis, based on Y abundance levels, reveals the relationship between Y distribution patterns and chemical forms. Our results imply that Y forming of precipitates with phosphate（and/or oxalate） and depositing in the cell wall may be a key strategy for Y detoxicity and tolerance in rice.

This work constructed a machine learning(ML)model to predict the atmospheric corrosion rate of low-alloy steels(LAS).The material properties of LAS,environmental factors,and exposure time were used as the input,while the corrosion rate as the output.6 dif-ferent ML algorithms were used to construct the proposed *** optimization and filtering,the eXtreme gradient boosting(XG-Boost)model exhibited good corrosion rate prediction *** features of material properties were then transformed into atomic and physical features using the proposed property transformation approach,and the dominant descriptors that affected the corrosion rate were filtered using the recursive feature elimination(RFE)as well as XGBoost *** established ML models exhibited better predic-tion performance and generalization ability via property transformation *** addition,the SHapley additive exPlanations(SHAP)method was applied to analyze the relationship between the descriptors and corrosion *** results showed that the property transformation model could effectively help with analyzing the corrosion behavior,thereby significantly improving the generalization ability of corrosion rate prediction models.

The electrochemical stability window (ESW) is crucial for determining the energy density of electric double-layer capacitors(EDLCs).However,current ESW testing protocols of EDLCs are strongly affected by artificial factors,thereby leading to unreliable *** solve this problem,we first identify the key shortcomings of the traditional protocols by analyzing their test ***,taking an aqueous carbon-based EDLC as an example,we design a side reaction descriptor to represent the response difference in the charging capacitance to side reactions between the cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic chargedischarge *** the aid of this descriptor,we propose a new ESW testing protocol,which is not only able to completely avoid the adverse influence of subjective factors but also fully consider the operating condition *** protocol can be extended from the single electrode to the full *** work proposes a more rigorous definition of ESW and provides a reliable protocol for evaluating the ESW of EDLCs.

Insulin resistance and dysregulated lipid metabolism are major causes of type 2 diabetes. Insulin and inflammatory signal pathways play key roles in insulin resistance and fat accumulation. Specifically, adapter proteins transduce signals from insulin or cytokine receptors to the downstream pathways and may contribute to insulin resistance and disordered lipid metabolism in obesity and type 2 diabetes. Here, the recent advances in understanding the roles of adapter proteins in insulin resistance and lipid homeostasis are discussed.

Green supplier selection is an important debate in green supply chain management(GSCM),attracting global attention from scholars,especially companies and *** frequently search for new ideas and strategies to assist them in realizing sustainable *** of the speculative character of human opinions,supplier selection frequently includes unreliable data,and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft set(IVPFSS)provides an exceptional capacity to cope with excessive fuzziness,inconsistency,and inexactness through the decision-making *** main goal of this study is to come up with new operational laws for interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft numbers(IVPFSNs)and create two interaction operators-the intervalvalued Pythagorean fuzzy soft interaction weighted average(IVPFSIWA)and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy soft interaction weighted geometric(IVPFSIWG)operators,and analyze their *** operators are highly advantageous in addressing uncertain problems by considering membership and non-membership values within intervals,providing a superior solution to other ***,specialist judgments were calculated by the MCGDM technique,supporting the use of interaction AOs to regulate the interdependence and fundamental partiality of green supplier assessment ***,a statistical clarification of the planned method for green supplier selection is presented.

We studied the effects of mercury (Hg2+) on antioxidant and digestive enzyme activities in terms of LC50 value and on hepatopancreas histostructures of juvenile Chinese mitten crabs Eriocheir sinensis in 40-day exposure to various concentrations of Hg2+ (0, 0.01, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20, and 0.30 mg/L). The results show that the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glutathione peroxidase (GPX) and catalase (CAT) significantly increased in the concentrations of 0.01 and 0.05 mg/L, while that of enzyme decreased in 0.10, 0.20 and 0.30 mg/L treatments. Meanwhile, Hg2+ disrupted the histostructures of the hepatopancreas, causing decreases in activities of pepsin, tryptase, amylase, and cellulose, which are synthesized in the hepatopancreas. Moreover, as the Hg2+ concentration increased, the survival rate of the crabs decreased, worst at 56.57% in 0.30 mg/L. Therefore, although crabs are able to tolerate low levels of mercury pollution, high levels lead to cellular injury and tissue damage in hepatopancreas, which then loses some of its vital physiological functions such as absorption, storage, and secretion.

Alzheimer's disease(AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease histologically characterized by the presence of extraneuronal plaques,mainly formed by the 42-aminoacid isoform of amyloid-(Aβ_(1-42)),and by intraneuronal neurofibrillary to ngles,mainly formed by the tau protein and its hyperphosphorylated isoforms(p-tau).AD is the most common cause of dementia,with an estimated lifetime risk of about 1 in 10 for men and 1 in 5 for women.

Factors Associated with Neonatal Sepsis: A Case Study at Chilenje General Hospital in the Neonatal Unit and Paediatric Wards

Background: Neonatal sepsis is known to result in 26% of mortalities in children below the age of five worldwide, countries in Sub-Saharan African recording the highest deaths. Although the deaths of neonates have reduced world over up to 3.6 million counts, Chilenje General Hospital continues to register significant numbers of neonatal sepsis. This study aimed at investigating the factors associated with neonatal sepsis at Chilenje General Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia. Methods: An institution based cross-sectional study design was conducted at Chilenje General Hospital. Data were collected by the use of a researcher designed questionnaire and analysed using SPSS version 25. Frequencies were used for descriptive analysis while bivariate analysis was used to establish association among risk factors and outcome variables. Variables with significant association at 5% level were further subjected to multivariate analysis at α ≤ 0.05. Results: The study showed that out of 156 neonates, 40.4% (63/156) developed neonatal sepsis. Maternal factors that projected the incidence of sepsis amongst neonates were distance to nearest health facility [AOR: 6.3 (95% CI: 1.8 - 21.3), p = 0.003], occupation [AOR: 5.8 (95% CI: 1.2 - 27.6), p = 0.026], number of antenatal visits [AOR: 6.3 (95% CI: 1.9 - 21.6), p = 0.003], number of vaginal examinations [AOR: 10.8 (95% CI: 2.8 - 42), p = 0.001], and pregnancy induced hypertension [AOR: 5.4 (95% CI: 1.4 - 20), p = 0.013]. Neonatal risk factor which projected the incidence of sepsis was Neonate’s age [AOR: 18.8 (95% CI: 4.9 - 72.5), p = 0.000]. Conclusions: The chance of developing neonatal sepsis was strongly correlated with both mother and child variables, according to the study. In order to lower the chance of the neonate acquiring sepsis, encouraging maternal antenatal care use would assist to detect risk factors during prenatal, perinatal and postnatal care and apply the proper therapies.
