Investigation of improving the thermophysical properties and corrosion resistance of RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates by component design with RE doping

In this research,a novel method for regulating components in RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates was developed,combining the benefits of a suitable thermal expansion coefficient(CTE)and outstanding corrosion resistance against calcium–magnesium–alumino–silicate(CMAS).This approach enhanced the overall thermophysical ***,the results from the CMAS corrosion resistance test indicated that(Lu_(1/3)Yb_(1/3)Tm_(1/3))_(2)SiO_(5)/(Lu_(1/3)Yb_(1/3)Tm_(1/3))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)and(Lu_(1/4)Yb_(1/4)Tm_(1/4)Er_(1/4))_(2)SiO_(5)/(Lu_(1/4)Yb_(1/4)Tm_(1/4)Er_(1/4))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)exhibited exceptional resistance to CMAS penetration,even at temperatures up to 1500℃.To comprehend the corrosion mechanism of CMAS on these silicates,we introduced a reaction–diffusion model,which involved observing the changes in the interface between the corrosion product layer and the silicate *** was achieved using electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).These findings lay a theoretical basis for selecting rare earth elements in RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates based on the radii of different rare earth cations.

Rydberg-Induced Topological Solitons in Three-Dimensional Rotation Spin–Orbit-Coupled Bose–Einstein Condensates

We present a novel approach for generating stable three-dimensional(3D) spatiotemporal solitons(SSs) within a rotating Bose–Einstein condensate, incorporating spin–orbit coupling(SOC), a weakly anharmonic potential and cold Rydberg atoms. This intricate system facilitates the emergence of quasi-stable 3D SSs with topological charges |m| ≤ 3 in two spinor components, potentially exhibiting diverse spatial configurations.

Unveiling the relationship between Fabry-Perot laser structures and optical field distribution via symbolic regression

In recent years， machine learning (ML) techniques have been shown to be effective in accelerating the development process of optoelectronic devices. However， as "black box" models， they have limited theoretical interpretability. In this work， we leverage symbolic regression (SR) technique for discovering the explicit symbolic relationship between the structure of the optoelectronic Fabry-Perot (FP) laser and its optical field distribution， which greatly improving model transparency compared to ML. We demonstrated that the expressions explored through SR exhibit lower errors on the test set compared to ML models which suggests that the expressions have better fitting and generalization capabilities.

Optimal control of differential quasivariational-hemivariational inequalities with applications

In this paper, we study a new class of differential quasivariational-hemivariational inequalities of the elliptic type. The problem consists of a system coupling the Cauchy problem for an ordinary differential equation with the variational-hemivariational inequalities, unilateral constraints, and history-dependent operators. First,based on the Minty formulation and the continuity of the solution map of a parametrized quasivariationalhemivariational inequality, and a fixed point theorem for a history-dependent operator, we prove a result on the well-posedness. Next, we examine optimal control problems for differential quasivariational-hemivariational inequalities, including a time-optimal control problem and a maximum stay control problem, for which we show the existence of solutions. In all the optimal control problems, the system is controlled through a distributed and boundary control, a control in initial conditions, and a control that appears in history-dependent ***, we illustrate the results by considering a nonlinear controlled system for a time-dependent elliptic equation with unilateral constraints.

开发匹配高电压正极的锂金属电池是实现高能量存储系统的关键.因此,研发可以同时为锂金属负极和高电压正极产生稳定界面相的先进电解液非常必要.LiNO_(3)作为高效的固体电解质界面相添加剂被广泛应用于醚基电解液中,然而其在碳酸脂类电解液中的低溶解性严重限制了其在高压锂金属电池中的应用.本文利用磷酸三甲酯助溶剂提高LiNO_(3)在碳酸乙基甲酯/氟代碳酸乙烯酯电解液中的溶解度,并赋予电解液阻燃性能.此外,通过添加双草酸硼酸锂(LiBOB)进一步提高正负极的界面稳定性.结果表明,该电解液对锂金属负极和高电压层状氧化物正极均具有较高的兼容性.在2.8–4.3 V电压范围内,Li||LiCoO_(2)和Li||LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)电池在1.2 mA cm^(-2)电流密度下循环300周后的容量保持率分别为80.2%和84.2%.更令人惊喜的是,负/正极容量比为3.33的Li||NCM811电池在相同的充放电条件下循环150周后的容量保持率仍高达~80%.本论文对富含LiNO_(3)的阻燃型高压电解液的研究将为通过界面相调控研发安全的高比能锂金属电池提供理论指导.

Effect of catalyst diesel particulate filter aging and catalyst loadings on particulate emission characteristics from a diesel vehicle

In this study,the effect of new and used catalyzed diesel particulate filter(CDPF)with different catalyst loadings on the particulate emissions including the particle mass(PM),particle number(PN),particle size distribution(PSD)and geometric mean diameter(GMD)from a diesel vehicle were investigated based on a heavy chassis *** showed that more than 97.9%of the PN and 95.4%of the PM were reduced by the CDPF,and the reduction efficiency was enhanced by the catalyst *** using the CDPF,the PSD transformed from bimodal to trimodal with the peak shifting towards smaller particle size,more nucleation mode particles were reduced compared with accumulation mode ones,but the reduction effect on the accumulation mode particles was more significantly influenced by the catalyst ***,the CDPF increased the accumulation mode particles proportion,producing a larger *** the used CDPF,its reduction effect on the particulate emissions enhanced,especially for the PM in accumulation *** PSD returned to bimodal,but the peak at accumulation mode began to be higher than that at nucleation mode,illustrating that more nucleation mode particles was *** aging of the CDPF resulted in greater effect on the PN-based PSD than that of PM-based PSD,but the effect of catalyst loading on the PN and PM emission factors was *** used CDPF further increased the GMD,and the effect of catalyst loading on the GMD was strengthened,a higher catalyst loading led to a reduction in the GMD.

Navigation for autonomous vehicles via fast-stable and smooth reinforcement learning

This paper investigates the navigation problem of autonomous vehicles based on reinforcement learning(RL)with both stability and smoothness *** introducing a data-based Lyapunov function,the stability criterion in mean cost is obtained,where the Lyapunov function has a property of fast ***,an off-policy RL algorithm is proposed to train safe policies,in which a more strict constraint is exerted in the framework of model-free RL to ensure the fast convergence of policy generation,in contrast with the existing RL merely with stability *** addition,by simultaneously introducing constraints on action increments and action distribution variations,the difference between the adjacent actions is effectively alleviated to ensure the smoothness of the obtained policy,instead of only seeking the similarity of the distributions of adjacent actions as commonly done in the past literature.A navigation task of a ground differentially driven mobile vehicle in simulations is adopted to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm on the fast stability and smoothness.
