A scheme for approximately conditional teleportation of an arbitrary two-particle state without Bell-state measurement in cavity QED is presented. The scheme involves four two-level atoms and two single-mode cavities. The detection of atoms 3 and 4 collapses the atoms 1 and 2 to the initial state of atoms 3 and 4, while the cavity fields left in the vacuum state. The probability of success and the fidelity of our scheme are 0.125 and 0.98, respectively.

The synergistic evolution mechanisms of He bubbles and dislocation loops under 30 keV H_(2)^(+)&He^(+)dual-beam ions irradiation at 650℃ in the Ni-based alloy GH3535,which is the most promising candidate structure material for molten salt reactors(MSRs),were revealed via in-situ *** nucleation,merg-ing,and change in the size of the dislocation loops and He bubbles were characterized in detail to study the influences of irradiation fluence and pre-existing dislocation loops on their *** number density of both the He bubbles and dislocation loops increases rapidly and subsequently saturates,whereas their size continuously increases with the increasing ion ***-existing dislocation loops with strong absorption characteristics grow preferentially and suppress the nucleation of dislocation loops during the dual-beam ions ***,the bubbles tend to nucleate within the dislocation loops to form bubble-loop complexes,and then decrease in their number *** details of the un-faulting processes of the Frank loops were discussed,where the energy difference between the two types of loops as well as the evolution of the inside Shockley dislocation loops dominates the unfaulting *** several evolution stages of the loop-punching mechanism are revealed,and the emitted loops can directly form perfect loops as well as unfault the neighboring Frank *** He bubbles inside the loops provide corresponding stress for the formation of rhombic loops,which can achieve rapid growth and sweep ability by merging with the neighboring ***,its dissociation to Shockley dis-location can unfault the Frank loops along their slip *** the four Frank loop variations,the edge-on Frank loop variations have the highest growth rate,followed by the perfect *** related mechanisms based on in-situ experimental observation are discussed in depth.

Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)have been developed as an ideal platform for exploration of the relationship between intrinsic structure and catalytic activity,but the limited catalytic activity and stability has hampered their practical use in water ***,we develop a bond length adjustment strategy for optimizing naphthalene-based MOFs that synthesized by acid etching Co-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid-based MOFs(donated as AE-CoNDA)to serve as efficient catalyst for water ***-CoNDA exhibits a low overpotential of 260 mV to reach 10 mA cm^(−2)and a small Tafel slope of 62 mV dec^(−1)with excellent stability over 100 *** integrated AE-CoNDA onto BiVO_(4),photocurrent density of 4.3 mA cm^(−2)is achieved at 1.23 *** investigations demonstrate that the stretched Co-O bond length was found to optimize the orbitals hybridization of Co 3d and O 2p,which accounts for the fast kinetics and high *** calculations reveal that the stretched Co-O bond length strengthens the adsorption of oxygen-contained intermediates at the Co active sites for highly efficient water splitting.

In this letter, the transmission probability and the conductance of the ballistic electron are studied in a nanostructure with the periodic magnetic-electric barriers. We find that the resonant splitting increases with the number of periods increasing, so the number of the resonant peaks increases and the peaks become sharper. For the m-th periodic magnetic-electric barriers tunneling the splitting is （m - 1）-fold.

A scheme is proposed for generating maximally entangled states for two or more three-level atoms. In the scheme the atoms are sent through a two-mode cavity one by one and interact with the two-cavity modes sequentially. The required experimental techniques are within the scope of what can be obtained in the microwave cavity QED setup.

The authors study the Rayleigh-Taylor instability for two incompressible immiscible fluids with or without surface tension, evolving with a free interface in the presence of a uniform gravitational field in Eulerian coordinates. To deal with the free surface, instead of using the transformation to Lagrangian coordinates, the perturbed equations in Eulerian coordinates are transformed to an integral form and the two-fluid flow is formulated as a single-fluid flow in a fixed domain, thus offering an alternative approach to deal with the jump conditions at the free interface. First, the linearized problem around the steady state which describes a denser immiscible fluid lying above a light one with a free interface separating the two fluids, both fluids being in(unstable) equilibrium is analyzed. By a general method of studying a family of modes, the smooth(when restricted to each fluid domain) solutions to the linearized problem that grow exponentially fast in time in Sobolev spaces are constructed, thus leading to a global instability result for the linearized ***, by using these pathological solutions, the global instability for the corresponding nonlinear problem in an appropriate sense is demonstrated.
