Machine learning(ML)is increasingly applied for medical image processing with appropriate learning *** applications include analyzing images of various organs,such as the brain,lung,eye,etc.,to identify specific flaws/diseases for *** primary concern of ML applications is the precise selection of flexible image features for pattern detection and region *** of the extracted image features are irrelevant and lead to an increase in computation ***,this article uses an analytical learning paradigm to design a Congruent Feature Selection Method to select the most relevant image *** process trains the learning paradigm using similarity and correlation-based features over different textural intensities and pixel *** similarity between the pixels over the various distribution patterns with high indexes is recommended for disease ***,the correlation based on intensity and distribution is analyzed to improve the feature selection ***,the more congruent pixels are sorted in the descending order of the selection,which identifies better regions than the ***,the learning paradigm is trained using intensity and region-based similarity to maximize the chances of ***,the probability of feature selection,regardless of the textures and medical image patterns,is *** process enhances the performance of ML applications for different medical image *** proposed method improves the accuracy,precision,and training rate by 13.19%,10.69%,and 11.06%,respectively,compared to other models for the selected *** mean error and selection time is also reduced by 12.56%and 13.56%,respectively,compared to the same models and dataset.

Harvesting energy from ambient mechanical vibrations by the piezoelectric effect has been proposed for powering microelectromechanical systems and replacing batteries that have a finite life span. A conventional piezoelectric energy harvester （PEH） is usually designed as a linear resonator, and suffers from a narrow operating bandwidth. To achieve broadband energy harvesting, in this paper we introduce a concept and describe the realization of a novel nonlinear PEH. The proposed PEH consists of a primary piezoelectric cantilever beam coupled to an auxiliary piezoelectric cantilever beam through two movable magnets. For predicting the nonlinear response from the proposed PEH, lumped parameter models are established for the two beams. Both simulation and experiment reveal that for the primary beam, the introduction of magnetic coupling can expand the operating bandwidth as well as improve the output voltage. For the auxiliary beam, the magnitude of the output voltage is slightly reduced, but additional output is observed at off-resonance frequencies. Therefore, broadband energy harvesting can be obtained from both the primary beam and the auxiliary beam.

As an alternative power solution for low-power devices, harvesting energy from the ambient mechanical vibration has received increasing research interest in recent years. In this paper we study the transient dynamic characteristics of a piezoelectric energy harvesting system including a piezoelectric energy harvester, a bridge rectifier, and a storage capacitor. To accomplish this, this energy harvesting system is modeled, and the charging process of the storage capacitor is investigated by employing the in-phase assumption The results indicate that the charging voltage across the storage capacitor and the gathered power increase gradually as the charging process proceeds, whereas the charging rate slows down over time as the charging voltage approaches to the peak value of the piezoelectric voltage across the piezoelectric materials. In addition, due to the added electrical damping and the change of the system natural frequency when the charging process is initiated, a sudden drop in the vibration amplitude is observed, which in turn affects the charging rate. However, the vibration amplitude begins to increase as the charging process continues, which is caused by the decrease in the electrical damping （i.e., the decrease in the energy removed from the mechanical vibration）. This electromechanical coupling characteristic is also revealed by the variation of the vibration amplitude with the charging voltage.

Inspiring Newton＇s law of universal gravitation and empirical studies, we propose a concept of virtual network mass and network gravitational force in complex networks. Then a network gravitational model for complex networks is presented. In the model, each node in the network is described with its position, edges （links） and virtual network mass. The proposed model is examined by experiments to show its potential applications.

Two types of Lennard-Jones potential are widely used in modeling adhesive contacts. However, the relationships between the parameters of the two types of Lennard-Jones potential are not well defined. This paper employs a self- consistent method to derive the Lennard-Jones surface force law from the interatomic Lennard-Jones potential with emphasis on the relationships between the parameters. The ei^ect of using correct parameters in the adhesion models is demonstrated in single sphere-flat contact via continuum models and an atomistic model. Furthermore, the adhesion hysteresis behaviour is investigated, and the S-shaped force-distance relation is revealed by the atomistic model. It shows that the adhesion hysteresis loop is generated by the jump-to-contact and jump-off-contact, which are illustrated by the S-shaped force-distance curve.

Nanometric machining simulations of single-crystal nickel were performed using molecular *** atomic displacement vector method was applied to study the relationship between defect displacement vectors and the crystal slip system during different deformation stages as well as the displacement trend characteristics of workpiece atoms under different *** arrangement characteristics of atoms in the machining region,relative density of atoms at different machining zones,and proportion of different atoms were investigated in *** addition,the atom shunt phenomenon was observed by studying the displacement trend of the atoms adjacent to the machining tool,and a method for determining the location of the shunt point was ***,direct evidence of crystal transition caused by temperature was *** effects of machining depth on workpiece damage,surface flatness,and workpiece temperature were *** increasing machining depth,the chip gradually changed from spherical to strip-shaped,the damage depth of workpiece gradually increased,but the atomic arrangement of the machined surface became ***,the dislocation reaction of subsurface defects was studied,and the rationality of the reaction was analyzed using an energy ***,the overall temperature of the workpiece increased,but the temperature of the chip part gradually decreased.

In order to increase the multiplexing density of the fiber Bragg gratings （FBGs） for a low cost per-sensor, based on the analysis of the spectrum shadow distortion （SSD）, a novel successive demultiplexing scheme for FBG sensors has been developed. It is based on the optical cade division multiple access （CDMA） balanced demodulation. A high-density multiplexing-demultiplexing system for FBG sensors has been designed, and corresponding simulation carried out has demonstrated that the FBG sensors＇ reflective signals can still be obtained accurately and respectively, even if FBG sensors＇ operating bandwidths heavily overlap. The SSD has been greatly mitigated.

Nickel plated on a copper plate was selected as a bond surface for ultrasonic aluminum wedge bonds, and a series of experiments were carried out to study the microstructure characterization of the wedge bond interface. Bond lift-off characteristics were studied by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM) with EDS-test. Characteristics of input power of PZT transducer were analyzed by the driving electric signal measured with GDS-820 Digital Oscilloscope. The results show that the pattern of partially bonded material at the Ni-Al interface of ultrasonic wedge bonds exposed by peeling underdeveloped bonds simulates a ridged torus with an unbonded central and external region rubbed along pulse direction. Bond strength is located between the severely ridged torus and the non-adhering central and external area of the bond. For the same machine variables, ridge-peak and transforming ultrasonic energy of the first wedge bond are greater than that of the second wedge bond. For constant other machine variables, with the increasing load, the total area of bond pattern increases in size, and minor axis of torus extends major axis; with the increasing time, the ridged periphery spreads a whole torus, and the ridged location of the bonded region moves closer to the bond center; the sliding trace and the ridge-like of the bond pattern strengthen when more power is applied. Moreover, the machine variables have an optimal range for microstructure characteristics.
