The accurate identification of smart meter(SM)fault types is crucial for enhancing the efficiency of operationand maintenance(O&M)and the reliability of power ***,the intelligent classification of SM fault typesfaces significant challenges owing to the complexity of featuresand the imbalance between fault *** address these issues,this study presents a fault diagnosis method for SM incorporatingthree distinct *** first module employs acombination of standardization,data imputation,and featureextraction to enhance the data quality,thereby facilitating improvedtraining and learning by the *** enhance theclassification performance,the data imputation method considersfeature correlation measurement and sequential imputation,and the feature extractor utilizes the discriminative enhancedsparse *** tackle the interclass imbalance of datawith discrete and continuous features,the second module introducesan assisted classifier generative adversarial network,which includes a discrete feature generation ***,anovel Stacking ensemble classifier for SM fault diagnosis is *** contrast to previous studies,we construct a two-layerheuristic optimization framework to address the synchronousdynamic optimization problem of the combinations and hyperparametersof the Stacking ensemble classifier,enabling betterhandling of complex classification tasks using SM *** proposedfault diagnosis method for SM via two-layer stacking ensembleoptimization and data augmentation is trained and validatedusing SM fault data collected from 2010 to 2018 in Zhejiang Province,*** results demonstrate the effectivenessof the proposed method in improving the accuracyof SM fault diagnosis,particularly for minority classes.

Pulse duration is considered as one of the most important characteristics of high-power femtosecond ***,pulses output from the laser system are susceptible to ambient changes and manifest the instability of pulse durations in an open *** this paper,incorporating the algorithmic framework of the improved stochastic hill-climbing search and incremental proportional-integral controller,temperature-induced fluctuations of pulse duration can be effectively compensated by an automatic feedback control in an all-fiber chirped-pulse amplification *** the experiment,sub-hundred femtosecond fluctuation of pulse duration is introduced to verify the performance robustness of the proposed pulse-duration feedback control(PDFC).The stability of pulse duration is obviously higher than the case without the feedback control,and the peak-to-peak fluctuation of pulse duration is reduced to 6.5%.Furthermore,the robust switching between different pulse durations proves the versatility of the *** expect that the proposed feedback control method could provide a novel insight into high-power femtosecond lasers widely applied in fundamental researches and industrial fields.

An Effective Power Optimization Approach Based on Whale Optimization Algorithm with Two-Populations and Mutation Strategies

Power is an issue that must be considered in the design of logic circuits. Power optimization is a combinatorial optimization problem, since it is necessary to search for a logical expression that consumes the least amount of power from a large number of Reed-Muller(RM) logical expressions. The existing approach for optimizing the power of multi-output mixed polarity RM(MPRM) logic circuits suffer from poor optimization results. To solve this problem, a whale optimization algorithm with two-populations strategy and mutation strategy(TMWOA) is proposed in this paper. The two-populations strategy speeds up the convergence of the algorithm by exchanging information about the two-populations. The mutation strategy enhances the ability of the algorithm to jump out of the local optimal solutions by using the information of the current optimal solution. Based on the TMWOA, we propose a multi-output MPRM logic circuits power optimization approach(TMMPOA). Experiments based on the benchmark circuits of the Microelectronics Center of North Carolina(MCNC) validate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed TMMPOA.

Enhanced terahertz wave generation via a Stokes cascade process has been demonstrated using picosecond pulse pumped terahertz parametric generation at 1 kHz repetition *** cascade saturation of terahertz output was observed,and the corresponding cascade-Stokes spectra were *** maximum terahertz wave average power was 22μW under a pump power of 30 W,whereas the maximum power conversion efficiency was 8×10^(-7)under a pump power of 21 *** THz power fluctuation was measured to be about 1%in 20 *** THz parametric source with a relatively stable output is suitable for a variety of practical applications.

With the rapid development of high-power-density electronic devices,interface thermal resistance has become a critical barrier for effective heat management in high-performance electronic ***,there is an urgent demand for advanced thermal interface materials(TIMs)with high cross-plane thermal conductivity and excellent compressibility to withstand increasingly complex operating *** achieve this aim,a promising strategy involves vertically arranging highly thermoconductive graphene on ***,with the currently available methods,achieving a balance between low interfacial thermal resistance,bidirectional high thermal conductivity,and large-scale production is ***,we prepared a graphene framework with continuous filler structures in in-plane and cross-plane directions by bonding corrugated graphene to planar graphene *** interface interaction between the graphene paper framework and polymer matrix was enhanced via surface functionalization to reduce the interface thermal *** resulting three-dimensional thermal framework endows the polymer composite material with a cross-plane thermal conductivity of 14.4 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)and in-plane thermal conductivity of 130W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)when the thermal filler loading is 10.1 wt%,with a thermal conductivity enhancement per 1 wt%filler loading of 831%,outperforming various graphene structures as *** its high thermal conductivity,low contact thermal resistance,and low compressive modulus,the developed highly thermoconductive composite material demonstrates superior performance in TIM testing compared with TFLEX-700,an advanced commercial TIM,effectively solving the interfacial heat transfer issues in electronic *** novel filler structure framework also provides a solution for achieving a balance between efficient thermal management and ease of processing.

In recent years, artificial intelligence technology has been widely used in many fields, such as computer vision, natural language processing and autonomous driving. Machine learning algorithms, as the core technique of AI, have significantly facilitated people's lives. However, underlying fairness issues in machine learning systems can pose risks to individual fairness and social security. Studying fairness definitions, sources of problems, and testing and debugging methods of fairness can help ensure the fairness of machine learning systems and promote the wide application of artificial intelligence technology in various fields. This paper introduces relevant definitions of machine learning fairness and analyzes the sources of fairness problems. Besides, it provides guidance on fairness testing and debugging methods and summarizes popular datasets. This paper also discusses the technical advancements in machine learning fairness and highlights future challenges in this area.

On-chip optical power monitors are indispensable for functional implementation and stabilization of large-scale and complex photonic integrated circuits(PICs).Traditional on-chip optical monitoring is implemented by tapping a small portion of optical power from the waveguide,which leads to signifcant *** to its advantages like non-invasive nature,miniaturization,and complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor(CMOS)process compatibility,a transparent monitor named the contactless integrated photonic probe(CLIPP),has been attracting great attention in recent *** CLIPP indirectly monitors the optical power in the waveguide by detecting the conductance variation of the local optical waveguide caused by the surface state absorption(SSA)*** this review,we frst introduce the fundamentals of the CLIPP including the concept,the equivalent electric model and the impedance read-out method,and then summarize some characteristics of the ***,the functional applications of the CLIPP on the identifcation and feedback control of optical signal are discussed,followed by a brief outlook on the prospects of the CLIPP.

The uncertainties of the power load,wind power,and photovoltaic power lead to errors between point prediction values and real values,which challenges the safe operation of distribution *** this paper,a robust reactive power scheduling(RRPS)model based on a modified bootstrap technique is proposed to consider the uncertainties of power loads and renewable energy ***,a deterministic reactive power scheduling(DRPS)model and an RRPS model are ***,a modified bootstrap technique is proposed to estimate prediction errors of power loads and renewable energy sources without artificially assuming the probability density function of prediction *** represent all possible scenarios,point prediction values and prediction errors are combined to construct two worst-case scenarios in the RRPS ***,the RRPS model is solved to find a scheduling scheme,which ensures the security of distribution networks for all possible scenarios in *** results show that the worst-case scenarios constructed by the modified bootstrap technique outperform popular ***,the RRPS model based on the modified bootstrap technique balances economics and security well.
