This paper proposes a stochastic programming(SP)method for coordinated operation of distributed energy resources(DERs)in the unbalanced active distribution network(ADN)with diverse correlated uncertainties.First,the threephase branch flow is modeled to characterize the unbalanced nature of the ADN,schedule DER for three phases,and derive a realistic DER allocation.Then,both active and reactive power resources are co-optimized for voltage regulation and power loss reduction.Second,the battery degradation is considered to model the aging cost for each charging or discharging event,leading to a more realistic cost estimation.Further,copulabased uncertainty modeling is applied to capture the correlations between renewable generation and power loads,and the twostage SP method is then used to get final solutions.Finally,numerical case studies are conducted on an IEEE 34-bus three-phase ADN,verifying that the proposed method can effectively reduce the system cost and co-optimize the active and reactive power.

The Chinese government is deepening reformation of electricity prices during the 14th Five Year Plan period and has set a carbon emission reduction target of reaching carbon peak before 2030.In this context,will the carbon emission target influence electricity pricing and will electricity price influence competitiveness of Chinese main industries are two questions needing to be answered.This paper compares China's electricity price level with the selected major countries in the world,and four typical industries are selected to evaluate their electricity burden respectively.Then,the correlation between residential electricity price and industrial electricity price and the influencing factors is analyzed,from the perspectives of scale,structure and technology.According to the model obtained by regression analysis,the electricity price level and corresponding residential and industrial electricity burden in 2025 and 2030 are forecasted.Index Terms-Electricity burden,industrial electricity price,regression analysis,residential electricity price.

This paper presents an in-depth analytical and empirical assessment of the performance of DoubleBee,a novel hybrid aerial-ground robot.Particularly,the dynamic model of the robot with ground contact is analyzed,and the unknown parameters in the model are identified.We apply an unscented Kalman filter-based approach and a least square-based approach to estimate the parameters with given measurements and inputs at every time step.Real data are collected and used to estimate the parameters;test data verify that the values obtained are able to model the rotation of the robot accurately.A gain-scheduled feedback controller is proposed,which leverages the identified model to generate accurate control inputs to drive the system to the desired states.The system is proven to track a constant-velocity reference signal with bounded error.Simulations and real-world experiments using the proposed controller show improved performance than the PID-based controller in tracking step commands and maintaining attitude under robot movement.

The construction of integrated energy systems can help improve energy efficiency and promote global energy transi-tion.However,in recent years,the occurrence of extreme natural disasters has brought certain threats to the safe and stable operation of the integrated energy system.Thus,it is necessary to improve the ability of the integrated energy system to resist disasters,reduce disaster losses,and restore energy supply as soon as possible,i.e.,improve its resil-ience.Considering the influence of pre-disaster prevention measures and disaster-time operational measures on sys-tem disaster resilience and the correlation between the two,this paper proposes a system hardening strategy based on three-layer robust optimization.The upper layer formulates the optimal hardening strategy of the system before the disaster event occurs,the middle layer identifies the failed elements in the worst disaster situation,while the lower layer realizes the system operational optimization by coordinating the energy storage charging and discharging plan of each subsystem.The strategy can reduce the total supply shortage of the integrated energy system and improve the flexibility of the system in the pre-disaster prevention and disaster resistance integration stages.

The rapid development of electric vehicles(EVs)has benefited from the fact that more and more countries or regions have begun to attach importance to clean energy and environmental protection.This paper focuses on the optimization of EV charging,which cannot be ignored in the rapid development of EVs.The increase in the penetration of EVs will generate new electrical loads during the charging process,which will bring new challenges to local power systems.Moreover,the uncoordinated charging of EVs may increase the peak-to-valley difference in the load,aggravate harmonic distortions,and affect auxiliary services.To stabilize the operations of power grids,many studies have been carried out to optimize EV charging.This paper reviews these studies from two aspects:EV charging forecasting and coordinated EV charging strategies.Comparative analyses are carried out to identify the advantages and disadvantages of different methods or models.At the end of this paper,recommendations are given to address the challenges of EV charging and associated charging strategies.

In a deregulated Var market, market power issue is more serious than in an energy market since reactive power cannot be transmitted over long distances. This letter designs a multi-timescale Var market framework, where market power that may arise in the hourly-ahead Var support service market due to system configuration deficiency and market structure flaws can be eliminated by day-ahead contract-based Var reserve service market. Settlement of day-ahead Var reserve contract is formulated as a two-stage robust optimization (TSRO) model considering worst case of uncertainty realization and potential market power that may arise in hourly-ahead market. TSRO with integer recourses is then solved by a new column and constraint generation algorithm. Results show a robust Var reserve contract can fully eliminate market power, and prevent suppliers from manipulating market prices.

Non-linear electrical conductivity of ethylene-propylene-diene monomer-based composite dielectrics by tuning inorganic fillers

In this study,three kinds of inorganic fillers are chosen and filled into ethylene-propylenediene monomer(EPDM)matrix,including silicon carbide,copper calcium titanate(CCTO),and vanadium dioxide(VO2).The electrical properties of the three modified composites at different temperatures have been systematically studied.The intrinsic conductance behaviours of different inorganic fillers on the direct current conductance and electric breakdown strength of the composite dielectrics are also analysed,and the possible mechanism for non-linear conductivity is revealed.The electrical conductivity increases with the increase of fillers content,where 30 wt.%CCTO/EPDM composite dielectric has a high non-linear coefficient of 5.71.The increase in temperature can further increase the conductivity of the composites,accompanying a lower breakdown strength.When the temperature rises to 70℃,the VO2/EPDM composite has a higher conductivity,but the electric breakdown strength degrades seriously.The simulation results show that the composites with non-linear electrical conductivity characteristics can effectively uniform the electric field and solve the problem of electric field concentration at the root of the stress cone,which is beneficial to improving the safe operation of the cable accessories.

In order to elucidate mechanical impacts affecting the insulation strength of thermalageing oil-impregnated pressboards,we perform mechanical degradation experiments of impacting forces that are represented as the winding-suffered stresses on thermalageing oil-paper insulation in transient short-circuit of transformer.Water content,degree of polymerisation(DP),partial discharge inception voltage and AC breakdown field strength are tested and analysed for diverse thermal-ageing levels.An analytical model of mechanical degradation is established by relating dielectric breakdown strength to mechanical impact.Mechanical impacts result in less water content in thermal-aging oilimpregnated pressboards while causing reduction and increment of DP,respectively,in mildly and severely aged oil-impregnated pressboards.Partial discharge inception voltage and dielectric breakdown strength vary significantly with the numbers of impact cycles,showing a maximum value under low-intensity impact and decreasing monotonously under high-intensity impact.High-intensity mechanical impacts will evidently exacerbate the thermal deterioration process of oil-impregnated pressboards,which is primarily attributed to cellulose fibre fractures in pressboard cracks produced by equivalent tensile stress of mechanical impacts.It is acceptable for mildly aged oil-impregnated pressboards to suffer low-intensity mechanical impacts that will alleviate insulation degradation by restraining partial discharge in smaller oil-gaps and prolonging breakdown discharge pathways along impact-caused cracks.

Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) have the trouble of limited battery power, and wireless charging provides apromising solution to this problem, which is not easily affected by the external environment. In this paper, we studythe recharging of sensors in wireless rechargeable sensor networks (WRSNs) by scheduling two mobile chargers(MCs) to collaboratively charge sensors. We first formulate a novel sensor charging scheduling problem with theobjective of maximizing the number of surviving sensors, and further propose a collaborative charging schedulingalgorithm(CCSA) for WRSNs. In the scheme, the sensors are divided into important sensors and ordinary sensors.TwoMCs can adaptively collaboratively charge the sensors based on the energy limit ofMCs and the energy demandof sensors. Finally, we conducted comparative simulations. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithmcan effectively reduce the death rate of the sensor. The proposed algorithm provides a solution to the uncertaintyof node charging tasks and the collaborative challenges posed by multiple MCs in practical scenarios.

This article presents a modeling and simulation method for transient thermal analyses of integrated circuits(ICs)using the original and voltage-in-current(VinC)latency insertion method(LIM).LIM-based algorithms are a set of fast transient simulation methods that solve electrical circuits in a leapfrog updating manner without relying on large matrix operations used in conventional Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis(SPICE)-based methods which can significantly slow down the solution process.The conversion from the thermal to electrical model is performed first by using the analogy between heat and electrical conduction.Since electrical inductance has no thermal equivalence,a modified VinC LIM formulation is presented which removes the requirement of the insertion of fictitious inductors.Numerical examples are presented,which show that the modified VinC LIM formulation outperforms the basic LIM formulation,in terms of both stability and accuracy in the transient thermal simulation of ICs.
