A novel porous silicon based optical Fabry-Perot cavity structure is prepared as a label-free immunosensor platform for detecting *** lagurus zona pelluciad 3(LZP3) and the specificity of the polyclonal anti-LZP3 antibodies are employed in our laboratory as the target and the probe,***,the antibodies are immobilized to the porous silicon optical cavity using silanization and glutaraldehyde(GA) *** then,after the antigen-antibody reaction,it is monitored that the red shift of the reflection spectrum of the immunosensor increases with the antigen *** research also plays a potential role for the extensive applications in immunoassay.

The coexistence of wireless body sensor networks(WBSNs) is a very challenging problem, due to strong interference, which seriously affects energy consumption and spectral reuse. The energy efficiency and spectral efficiency are two key performance evaluation metrics for wireless communication networks. In this paper, the fundamental tradeoff between energy efficiency and area spectral efficiency of WBSNs is first investigated under the Poisson point process(PPP) model and Matern hard-core point process(HCPP) model using stochastic geometry. The circuit power consumption is taken into consideration in energy efficiency calculation. The tradeoff judgement coefficient is developed and is shown to serve as a promising complementary measure. In addition, this paper proposes a new nearest neighbour distance power control strategy to improve energy efficiency. We show that there exists an optimal transmit power highly dependant on the density of WBSNs and the nearest neighbour distance. Some important properties are also addressed in the analysis of coexisting WBSNs based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, such as the impact of intensity nodes distribution,optimal guard zone, and outage probability. Simulation results show that the proposed power control design can reduce the outage probability and enhance energy efficiency. Energy efficiency and area spectral efficiency of the HCPP model are better than those of the PPP model. In addition, the optimal density of WBSNs coexistence is obtained.

Evolutionary algorithm based on dynamical structure of membrane systems in uncertain environments

In this paper, a new evolutionary algorithm based on a membrane system is proposed to solve the dynamic or uncertain optimization problems. The proposed algorithm employs objects, a dynamical membrane structure and several reaction rules of the membrane systems. The object represents a candidate solution of the optimization problems. The dynamical structure consists of the nested membranes where a skin membrane contains several membranes, which is useful for the proposed algorithm that finds optimal solutions. The reaction rules are designed to locate and track the optimal solutions of the dynamic optimization problems （DOPs）, which are inspired by processing the chemical compounds in the region of cellular membranes. Experimental study is conducted based on the moving peaks benchmark to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm in comparison with three state-of-the-art dynamic optimization algorithms. The results indicate the proposed algorithm is effective to solve the DOPs.

A novel dual-loop technique was proposed for single-mode selection in an optoelectronic oscillator （OEO）. It consisted of a pump laser and a feedback circuit including an intensity modulator, a Fabry-Perot （FP） etalon, two optical fiber delay lines, two photodetectors, and an amplifier. By inserting the Fabry-Perot etalon, the proposed dual-loop OEO realized a single mode oscillation ranging from 0 Hz to 20 GHz. The strong oscillation mode was present at 15 GHz, and the side modes suppression ratio （SMSR） exceeded 140dB. More over the length of the two fiber loops were just 5 meters and 36 meters.

A new modular and programmable wireless capsule endoscope is presented in this paper. The capsule system consumes low power and has small physical size. A new image compression algorithm is presented in this paper to reduce power consumption and silicon area. The compression algorithm includes color space transform, uniform quantization, sub-sampling, differential pulse code modulation (DPCM) and Golomb-Rice code. The algorithm is tested in a field programmable gate array (FPGA) development board, and the final result achieves 80% compression rate at 40 dB peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR). The algorithm has high image compression efficiency and low power consumption, compared to other existing works. The system is composed of the following three parts: image capsule endoscope, portable wireless receiver and host computer software. The software and hardware design of the three parts are disscussed in details. © 2017, Shanghai Jiaotong University and Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
