In radiology,magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)is an essential diagnostic tool that provides detailed images of a patient’s anatomical and physiological *** is particularly effective for detecting soft tissue ***,radiologists manually interpret these images,which can be labor-intensive and time-consuming due to the vast amount of *** address this challenge,machine learning,and deep learning approaches can be utilized to improve the accuracy and efficiency of anomaly detection in MRI *** manuscript presents the use of the Deep AlexNet50 model for MRI classification with discriminative learning *** are three stages for learning;in the first stage,the whole dataset is used to learn the *** the second stage,some layers of AlexNet50 are frozen with an augmented dataset,and in the third stage,AlexNet50 with an augmented dataset with the augmented *** method used three publicly available MRI classification datasets:Harvard whole brain atlas(HWBA-dataset),the school of Biomedical engineering of Southern Medical University(SMU-dataset),and The National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospitals brain MRI dataset(NINS-dataset)for *** hyperparameter optimizers like Adam,stochastic gradient descent(SGD),Root mean square propagation(RMS prop),Adamax,and AdamW have been used to compare the performance of the learning ***-dataset registers maximum classification *** evaluated the performance of the proposed classification model using several quantitative metrics,achieving an average accuracy of 98%.

Zinc oxide(ZnO)serves as a crucial functional semiconductor with a wide direct bandgap of approximately 3.37 *** reaction is commonly used in the synthesis of ZnO micro/nanostructures,given its low cost,simplicity,and easy ***,ZnO morphology engineering has become desirable through the alteration of minor conditions in the reaction process,particularly at room *** this work,ZnO micro/nanostructures were synthesized in a solution by varying the amounts of the ammonia added at low temperatures(including room temperature).The formation of Zn^(2+)complexes by ammonia in the precursor regulated the reaction rate of the morphology engineering of ZnO,which resulted in various structures,such as nanoparticles,nanosheets,microflowers,and single ***,the obtained ZnO was used in the optoelectronic application of ultraviolet detectors.

Mechanically durable transparent electrodes are essential for achieving long-term stability in flexible optoelectronic ***,they are crucial for applications in the fields of energy,display,healthcare,and soft *** meshes represent a promising alternative to traditional,brittle,metal oxide conductors due to their high electrical conductivity,optical transparency,and enhanced mechanical *** this paper,we present a simple method for fabricating an ultra-transparent conducting metal oxide mesh electrode using selfcracking-assisted *** this method,we produced an electrode with ultra-transparency(97.39%),high conductance(Rs=21.24Ωsq^(−1)),elevated work function(5.16 eV),and good mechanical *** also evaluated the effectiveness of the fabricated electrodes by integrating them into organic photovoltaics,organic light-emitting diodes,and flexible transparent memristor devices for neuromorphic computing,resulting in exceptional device *** addition,the unique porous structure of the vanadium-doped indium zinc oxide mesh electrodes provided excellent flexibility,rendering them a promising option for application in flexible optoelectronics.

The Internet of Things(IoT)has orchestrated various domains in numerous applications,contributing significantly to the growth of the smart world,even in regions with low literacy rates,boosting socio-economic *** study provides valuable insights into optimizing wireless communication,paving the way for a more connected and productive future in the mining *** IoT revolution is advancing across industries,but harsh geometric environments,including open-pit mines,pose unique challenges for reliable *** advent of IoT in the mining industry has significantly improved communication for critical operations through the use of Radio Frequency(RF)protocols such as Bluetooth,Wi-Fi,GSM/GPRS,Narrow Band(NB)-IoT,SigFox,ZigBee,and Long Range Wireless Area Network(LoRaWAN).This study addresses the optimization of network implementations by comparing two leading free-spreading IoT-based RF protocols such as ZigBee and *** field tests are conducted in various opencast mines to investigate coverage potential and signal *** is tested in the Tadicherla open-cast coal mine in ***,LoRaWAN field tests are conducted at one of the associated cement companies(ACC)in the limestone mine in Bargarh,India,covering both Indoor-toOutdoor(I2O)and Outdoor-to-Outdoor(O2O)environments.A robust framework of path-loss models,referred to as Free space,Egli,Okumura-Hata,Cost231-Hata and Ericsson models,combined with key performance metrics,is employed to evaluate the patterns of signal *** field testing and careful data analysis revealed that the Egli model is the most consistent path-loss model for the ZigBee protocol in an I2O environment,with a coefficient of determination(R^(2))of 0.907,balanced error metrics such as Normalized Root Mean Square Error(NRMSE)of 0.030,Mean Square Error(MSE)of 4.950,Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE)of 0.249 and Scatter Index(SI)of *** the O2O scenario,the Ericsson model

Design of area and power efficient Radix-4 DIT FFT butterfly unit using floating point fused arithmetic

In this work, power efficient butterfly unit based FFT architecture is presented. The butterfly unit is designed using floating-point fused arithmetic units. The fused arithmetic units include two-term dot product unit and add-subtract unit. In these arithmetic units, operations are performed over complex data values. A modified fused floating-point two-term dot product and an enhanced model for the Radix-4 FFT butterfly unit are proposed. The modified fused two-term dot product is designed using Radix-16 booth multiplier. Radix-16 booth multiplier will reduce the switching activities compared to Radix-8 booth multiplier in existing system and also will reduce the area required. The proposed architecture is implemented efficiently for Radix-4 decimation in time(DIT) FFT butterfly with the two floating-point fused arithmetic units. The proposed enhanced architecture is synthesized, implemented, placed and routed on a FPGA device using Xilinx ISE tool. It is observed that the Radix-4 DIT fused floating-point FFT butterfly requires 50.17% less space and 12.16% reduced power compared to the existing methods and the proposed enhanced model requires 49.82% less space on the FPGA device compared to the proposed design. Also, reduced power consumption is addressed by utilizing the reusability technique, which results in 11.42% of power reduction of the enhanced model compared to the proposed design.

Radio map updated method based on subscriber locations in indoor WLAN localization

With the rapid development of wireless local area network （WLAN） technology, an important target of indoor positioning systems is to improve the positioning accuracy while reducing the online calibration effort to overcome signal time-varying. A novel fingerprint positioning algorithm, known as the adaptive radio map with updated method based on hidden Markov model （HMM）, is proposed. It is shown that by using a collection of user traces that can be cheaply obtained, the proposed algorithm can take advantage of these data to update the labeled calibration data to further improve the position estimation accuracy. This algorithm is a combination of machine learning, information gain theory and fingerprinting. By collecting data and testing the algorithm in a realistic indoor WLAN environment, the experiment results indicate that, compared with the widely used K nearest neighbor algorithm, the proposed algorithm can improve the positioning accuracy while greatly reduce the calibration effort.

Location-Based Data Dissemination for Spatial Queries in Wireless Broadcast Environments

Most current research on Location-Based Services （LBSs, for short） assumes point-to-point wireless commu- nication, where the server processes a query and returns the query result to the user via a point-to-point wireless channel. However, LBSs via point-to-point wireless channel suffer from a tremendous amount of tramc and service requests from the user and thereby result in poor performance. In this paper, we present broadcast-based spatial query processing algorithms designed to support k-NN （k-Nearest Neighbor） and range queries via a wireless network. The task of the query processor is to selectively monitor the wireless broadcast channel, when the data items are disseminated by the server, according to their locations. Experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithms. Comprehensive experiments illustrate that the presented algorithms are highly scalable and are more efficient than the previous techniques in terms of both access time and energy consumption.

Adaptive block greedy algorithms for receiving multi-narrowband signal in compressive sensing radar reconnaissance receiver

This paper extends the application of compressive sensing(CS) to the radar reconnaissance receiver for receiving the multi-narrowband signal. By combining the concept of the block sparsity, the self-adaption methods, the binary tree search,and the residual monitoring mechanism, two adaptive block greedy algorithms are proposed to achieve a high probability adaptive reconstruction. The use of the block sparsity can greatly improve the efficiency of the support selection and reduce the lower boundary of the sub-sampling rate. Furthermore, the addition of binary tree search and monitoring mechanism with two different supports self-adaption methods overcome the instability caused by the fixed block length while optimizing the recovery of the unknown *** simulations and analysis of the adaptive reconstruction ability and theoretical computational complexity are given. Also, we verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the two algorithms by the experiments of receiving multi-narrowband signals on an analogto-information converter(AIC). Finally, an optimum reconstruction characteristic of two algorithms is found to facilitate efficient reception in practical applications.
