ST-LaneNet: Lane Line Detection Method Based on Swin Transformer and LaneNet

The advancement of autonomous driving heavily relies on the ability to accurate lane lines detection.As deep learning and computer vision technologies evolve,a variety of deep learning-based methods for lane line detection have been proposed by researchers in the field.However,owing to the simple appearance of lane lines and the lack of distinctive features,it is easy for other objects with similar local appearances to interfere with the process of detecting lane lines.The precision of lane line detection is limited by the unpredictable quantity and diversity of lane lines.To address the aforementioned challenges,we propose a novel deep learning approach for lane line detection.This method leverages the Swin Transformer in conjunction with LaneNet(called ST-LaneNet).The experience results showed that the true positive detection rate can reach 97.53%for easy lanes and 96.83%for difficult lanes(such as scenes with severe occlusion and extreme lighting conditions),which can better accomplish the objective of detecting lane lines.In 1000 detection samples,the average detection accuracy can reach 97.83%,the average inference time per image can reach 17.8 ms,and the average number of frames per second can reach 64.8 Hz.The programming scripts and associated models for this project can be accessed openly at the following GitHub repository:https://***/Duane 711/Lane-line-detec tion-ST-LaneNet.

MCDM technique using single-valued neutrosophic trigonometric weighted aggregation operators

Motivated based on the trigonometric t-norm and t-conorm,the aims of this article are to present the trigonometric t-norm and t-conorm operational laws of SvNNs and then to propose the SvNN trigonometric weighted average and geometric aggregation operators for the modelling of a multiple criteria decision making(MCDM)technique in an inconsistent and indeterminate circumstance.To realize the aims,this paper first proposes the trigonometric t-norm and t-conorm operational laws of SvNNs,which contain the hybrid operations of the tangent and arctangent functions and the cotangent and inverse cotangent functions,and presents the SvNN trigonometric weighted average and geometric operators and their properties.Next,an MCDM technique is proposed in view of the presented two aggregation operators in the circumstance of SvNNs.In the end,an actual case of the choice issue of slope treatment schemes is provided to indicate the practicability and effectivity of the proposed MCDM technique.

Mechanical performance of cold mix asphalt containing cup lump rubber as a sustainable bio-modifier

The road construction industry aims to contribute to the protection of already compromised environment. Cold mix asphalt(CMA) is a measure initiated by the road industry to protect the environment and preserve energy. Despite having additional benefits, CMA has attracted little attention due to its inferior performance. CMA's performance is enhanced using a sustainable binder bio-modifier, natural cup lump rubber(CLR) is one of them. This study evaluated the tensile properties, rutting, moisture susceptibility, and adhesion properties of CLR-modified CMA(CMA-CR). The tensile property was enhanced by 26% due to CLR modification. CMA-CR had excellent rutting resistance of less than 2 mm rut depth at 10,000 load cycles, showing 70% improvement compared with conventional CMA.Moisture susceptibility evaluation indicated that CMA-CR had tensile strength ratio(TSR)value of 104%, satisfying the minimum 80% requirement of AASHTO T283. It also retained more than 96% bitumen coating. The moisture damage resistance was improved by 12% and 10% in terms of TSR and stripping, respectively. The durability results revealed that the CMA-CR mixture prevented higher mass loss, representing 14% improvement compared with conventional CMA.

An Investigation into the Compressive Strength,Permeability and Microstructure of Quartzite-Rock-Sand Mortar

River sand is an essential component used as a fine aggregate in mortar and concrete.Due to unrestrained exploitation,river sand resources are gradually being exhausted.This requires alternative solutions.This study deals with the properties of cement mortar containing different levels of manufactured sand(MS)based on quartzite,used to replace river sand.The river sand was replaced at 20%,40%,60%and 80%with MS(by weight or volume).The mechanical properties,transfer properties,and microstructure were examined and compared to a control group to study the impact of the replacement level.The results indicate that the compressive strength can be improved by increasing such a level.The strength was improved by 35.1%and 45.5%over that of the control mortar at replacement levels of 60%and 80%,respectively.Although there was a weak link between porosity and gas permeability in the mortars with manufactured sand,the gas permeability decreased with growing the replacement level.The microstructure of the MS mortar was denser,and the cement paste had fewer microcracks with increasing the replacement level.

Research on the evolutionary game of the supervision of civil aviation dangerous goods transportation training

This study is carried out to promote the precise supervision of dangerous goods transportation training,improve the efficiency of civil aviation supervision and further ensure the safety of air transportation.First,from the perspective of behaviour interaction and interest demands,evolutionary game theory is used to construct a tripartite evolutionary game model of dangerous goods transportation training institutions,the civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC)and the public.Then,the evolutionary game equilibrium of the system is further analysed under the joint action of the three parties.Finally,the influences of important parameters of the model on the behavioural strategy selection of the three parties are investigated via MATLAB numerical simulation.The conclusions reveal that the system has three evolutionarily stable strategies under different parameters,namely(non-compliant training,supervision,non-participation in supervision),(non-compliant training,supervision,participation in supervision)and(compliant training,supervision,non-participation in supervision).Moreover,the CAAC supervision cost,the fine amount,the supervision cost of public participation,the supervision success rate and the reporting reward amount are the main parameters that affect the behavioural strategy selection of the tripartite game players.The conclusions and suggestions of this study provide a decision-making basis and guidance for the supervision and management of civil aviation dangerous goods transportation training.

Photocatalytic transformation of selected biomass derivatives to value added chemicals and hydrogen fuel

Biomass is the most bountiful renewable carbon resource on earth.Photocatalytic transformation is a promising method to utilize biomass to obtain high-value-added chemicals and it has more obvious advantages compared with thermochemical and biological processes due to the milder operational conditions,fewer reagents and equipment.Semiconductor material is one of the most common kinds of heterogeneous biomass photocatalysts,which has the advantages of high selectivity,stable catalytic performance,long activation time,and low cost.In this paper,the significant research progress on the photocatalytic transformation of biomass with semiconductor materials to produce high-value-added chemicals is reviewed,and the three most typical semiconductor photocatalysts(TiO_(2),Cd S,and g-C_(3)N_(4))are detailed.The photocatalytic mechanism and photocatalytic system optimization including structural modification,metal co-catalyst loading,and introduction of heterojunction are presented.Besides,the main problems,the development direction and trend of semiconductor materials in photocatalytic transformations of biomass in the future are prospected,which provide guidance and inspiration for the further development of semiconductor photocatalysts and make contributions to the progress in efficient utilization of biomass.

Field Load Test Based SHM System Safety Standard Determination for Rigid Frame Bridge

The deteriorated continuous rigid frame bridge is strengthened by external prestressing. Static loading tests wereconducted before and after the bridge rehabilitation to verify the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process. Thestiffness of the repaired bridge is improved, and the maximum deflection of the load test is reduced from 37.9 to27.6 mm. A bridge health monitoring system is installed after the bridge is reinforced. To achieve an easy assessmentof the bridge’s safety status by directly using transferred data, a real-time safety warning system is createdbased on a five-level safety standard. The threshold for each safety level will be determined by theoretical calculationsand the outcomes of static loading tests. The highest risk threshold will be set at the ultimate limit statevalue. The remaining levels, namely middle risk, low risk, and very low risk, will be determined usingreduction coefficients of 0.95, 0.9, and 0.8, respectively.

Study of interfacial transition zones between magnesium phosphate cement and Portland cement concrete pavement

The Portland cement concrete pavement(PCCP) often suffers from different environmental distresses and vehicle load failure, resulting in slab corner fractures, potholes, and other diseases. Rapid repair has become one of the effective ways to open traffic rapidly. In this study, a novel type of rapid repair material, basalt fiber reinforced polymer modified magnesium phosphate cement(BFPMPC), is used to rapidly repair PCCP. Notably, the mechanical properties and characteristics of the repair interfaces which are named interfacial transition zones(ITZs) formed by BFPMPC and cement concrete are focused on as a decisive factor for the performance of the rapid repair. The changing trend of the elastic moduli was studied by nanoindentation experiments in the ITZs with the deconvolution analysis that the elastic moduli of certain kinds of substances can be determined.The experimental results show that the elastic modulus of ITZ-1 with a width of about20 μm can be regarded as 0.098 times of the aggregate, and 0.51 times of the ordinary Portland cement(OPC) mortar. The BFPMPC-OPC mortar ITZ has roughly the same mechanical properties as the ITZ between aggregate and BFPMPC. A multi-scale representative two-dimensional model was established by random aggregate and a two-dimensional extended finite element method(XFEM) to study the mechanical properties of the repair interface. The simulation results show that the ITZ formed by the interface of BFPMPC and OPC mortar and basalt aggregate is the most vulnerable to failure, which is consistent with the nano-indentation experimental results.

The spatiotemporal distributions of microbes in soil by different methods could affect the efficacy of the microbes to reduce the soil hydraulic conductivity.In this study,the specimens of bio-mediated sands were prepared using three different methods,i.***.injecting,mixing,and pouring a given microbial so-lution onto compacted sand specimens.The hydraulic conductivity was measured by constant-head tests,while any soil microstructural changes due to addition of the microbes were observed by scan-ning electron microscope(SEM)and mercury intrusion porosimetry(MIP)tests.The amount of dextran concentration produced by microbes in each type of specimen was quantified by a refractometer.Results show that dextran production increased exponentially after 5-7 d of microbial settling with the supply of culture medium.The injection and mixing methods resulted in a similar amount and uniform dis-tribution of dextran in the specimens.The pouring method,however,produced a nonuniform distri-bution,with a higher concentration near the specimen surface.As the supply of culture medium discontinued,the dextran content near the surface produced by the pouring method decreased dramatically due to high competition for nutrients with foreign colonies.Average dextran concentration was negatively and correlated with hydraulic conductivity of bio-mediated soils exponentially,due to the clogging of large soil pores by dextran.The hydraulic conductivity of the injection and mixing cases did not change significantly when the supply of culture medium was absent.
