Neural Network Based on Inter-layer Perturbation Strategy for Text Classification

Recently,many researches have created adversarial samples to enrich the diversity of training data for improving the text classification performance via reducing the loss incurred in the neural network ***,existing studies have focused solely on adding perturbations to the input,such as text sentences and embedded representations,resulting in adversarial samples that are very similar to the original *** adversarial samples can not significantly improve the diversity of training data,which restricts the potential for improved classification *** alleviate the problem,in this paper,we extend the diversity of generated adversarial samples based on the fact that adding different disturbances between different layers of neural network has different *** propose a novel neural network with perturbation strategy(PTNet),which generates adversarial samples by adding perturbation to the intrinsic representation of each hidden layer of the neural ***,we design two different perturbation ways to perturb each hidden layer:1)directly adding a certain threshold perturbation;2)adding the perturbation in the way of adversarial *** above settings,we can get more perturbed intrinsic representations of hidden layers and use them as new adversarial samples,thus improving the diversity of the augmented training *** validate the effectiveness of our approach on six text classification datasets and demonstrate that it improves the classification ability of the *** particular,the classification accuracy on the sentiment analysis task improved by an average of 1.79%and on question classification task improved by 3.2%compared to the BERT baseline,respectively.

PriChain: Efficient Privacy-Preserving Fine-Grained Redactable Blockchains in Decentralized Settings

Recently, redactable blockchain has been proposed and leveraged in a wide range of real systems for its unique properties of decentralization, traceability, and transparency while ensuring controllable on-chain data redaction. However, the development of redactable blockchain is now obstructed by three limitations, which are data privacy breaches, high communication overhead, and low searching efficiency, respectively. In this paper, we propose PriChain, the first efficient privacy-preserving fine-grained redactable blockchain in decentralized settings. PriChain provides data owners with rights to control who can read and redact on-chain data while maintaining downward compatibility, ensuring the one who can redact will be able to read. Specifically, inspired by the concept of multi-authority attribute-based encryption, we utilize the isomorphism of the access control tree, realizing fine-grained redaction mechanism, downward compatibility, and collusion resistance. With the newly designed structure, PriChain can realize O（n） communication and storage overhead compared to prior O（n2） schemes. Furthermore, we integrate multiple access trees into a tree-based dictionary, optimizing searching efficiency. Theoretical analysis proves that PriChain is secure against the chosen-plaintext attack and has competitive complexity. The experimental evaluations show that PriChain realizes 10× efficiency improvement of searching and 100× lower communication and storage overhead on average compared with existing schemes.

Quantum purification for coherent states and its application

A comprehensive investigation on nonlinear vibration and bending characteristics of bio-inspired helicoidal laminated composite structures

Bio-inspired helicoidal composite laminates, inspired by the intricate helical structures found in nature, present a promising frontier for enhancing the mechanical properties of structural designs. Hence, this study provides a comprehensive investigation into the nonlinear free vibration and nonlinear bending behavior of bio-inspired composite plates. The inverse hyperbolic shear deformation theory(IHSDT) of plates is employed to characterize the displacement field, with the incorporation of Green-Lagrange nonlinearity. The problem is modeled using the C0finite element method(FEM), and an in-house code is developed in the MATLAB environment to solve it numerically. Various helicoidal layup configurations including helicoidal recursive(HR), helicoidal exponential(HE), helicoidal semi-circular(HS), linear helicoidal(LH), and Fibonacci helicoidal(FH)with different layup sequences and quasi-isotropic configurations are studied. The model is validated, and parametric studies are conducted. These studies investigate the effects of layup configurations, side-to-thickness ratio, modulus ratios, boundary conditions, and loading conditions at different load amplitudes on the nonlinear vibration and nonlinear bending behaviors of bio-inspired composite plates. The results show that the laminate sequence exerts a substantial impact on both nonlinear natural frequencies and nonlinear bending behaviors. Moreover, this influence varies across different side-to-thickness ratios and boundary conditions of the bio-inspired composite plate.

We derive a blow-up formula for holomorphic Koszul–Brylinski homologies of compact holomorphic Poisson manifolds. As applications, we investigate the invariance of the E1-degeneracy of the Dolbeault–Koszul–Brylinski spectral sequence under Poisson blow-ups, and compute the holomorphic Koszul–Brylinski homology for del Pezzo surfaces and two complex nilmanifolds with holomorphic Poisson structures.

Dear Editor,This letter deals with the stabilization problem of nonlinear stochastic systems via self-triggered impulsive control(STIC), where the timing of impulsive control actions is not dependent on continuous state monitoring. In contrast to the existing self-triggered control method, novel self-triggered mechanism(STM) is proposed by incorporating a waiting time for stabilizing impulses. This allows for direct prediction of the next impulsive instant.

Valence electron matching law for MXene-based single-atom catalysts

Single-atom catalysts（SACs） have attracted considerable interest in the fields of energy and environmental science due to their adjustable catalytic *** this study,we investigated the matching of valence electron numbers between single atoms and adsorbed intermediates（O,N,C,and H） in MXene-anchored SACs（M-Ti2C/M-Ti2CO2）.The density functional theory results demonstrated that the sum of the valence electron number（VM） of the interface-doped metal and the valence electron number（VA） of the adsorbed intermediates in M-Ti2C followed the 10-valence electron matching ***,based on the 10-valence electron matching law,we deduced that the sum of the valence electron number（k） and VMfor the molecular adsorption intermediate interactions in M-Ti2CO2adhered to the 11-valence electron matching *** repulsion between the interface electrons in M-Ti2CO2and H2O weakened the adsorption of intermediates,Furthermore,we applied the 11-valence electron matching law to guide the design of catalysts for nitrogen reduction reaction,specifically for N2→ NNH conversion,in the *** sure independence screening and sparsifying operator algorithm was used to fit a simple three-dimensional descriptor of the adsorbate（R2up to 0.970） for catalyst *** study introduced a valence electron matching principle between doped metals（single atoms） and adsorbed intermediates（atomic and molecular） for MXene-based catalysts,providing new insights into the design of high-performance SACs.

MXenes obtained significant attention in the field of energy storage devices due to their characteristic layered structure,modifiable surface functional groups,large electrochemically active surface,and regulable interlayer ***,the self-restacking and sluggish ions diffusion kinetics performance of MXenes during the alkali metal ions insertion/extraction process severely impedes their cycle stability and rate *** paper proposes an aniline molecule welding strategy for welding p-phenylenediamine（PPDA） into the interlayers of Ti2C through a dehydration condensation *** welded PPDA molecules can contribute pillar effect to the layered structure of *** pillar effect effectively maintains the structural stability during the sodium ions insertion/extraction process and effectively expands the interlayer spacing of Ti2C from 1.16 to 1.38 nm,thereby enhancing ions diffusion kinetics performance and improving the long-term cycle *** Ti2C-PPDA demonstrates outstanding Na+storage capability,exhibiting a specific capacity of 100.2 mAh·g-1at a current density of 0.1 A·g-1over 960 cycles and delivering a remarkable rate capability 81.2 mAh·g-1at a current density of 5 A·*** study demonstrates that expanding interlayer spacing is a promising strategy to enhance the Na+storage capacity and improve long-term cycling stability,which provides significant guidance for the design of two-dimensional Na+storage materials with high-rate capability and cycle stability.

Dear Editor,This letter investigates predefined-time optimization problems(OPs) of multi-agent systems(MASs), where the agent of MASs is subject to inequality constraints, and the team objective function accounts for impulse effects. Firstly, to address the inequality constraints,the penalty method is introduced. Then, a novel optimization strategy is developed, which only requires that the team objective function be strongly convex.

Pioneering radiation dosimetry and photothermal conversion in a photochromic and radiochromic thorium cluster

Understanding the fundamental properties of actinide-based materials is pivotal in unlocking new solutions for challenges in nuclear waste management. In this work, we showcase a novel thorium cluster(Th-npc) that exhibits an extremely rare Th–N bond capping the square antiprismatic Th4+metal center. Remarkably, Th-npc exhibits both photochromic and radiochromic behaviors under UV and X-ray radiation, respectively, allowing for distinct, measurable colorimetric shifts that facilitate a redgreen-blue(RGB) radiation dosimetry method. The integration of Th-npc with a custom-built optoelectronic device enables onsite radiation dosimetry, offering the advantages of simple operation and rapid data acquisition. Additionally, this work pioneers the application of actinide materials in photothermal conversion, opening new avenues for the strategic utilization of thoriumbased compounds.
