Bald Eagle Search Optimization Algorithm Combined with Spherical Random Shrinkage Mechanism and Its Application

Over the last two decades,stochastic optimization algorithms have proved to be a very promising approach to solving a variety of complex optimization *** eagle search optimization(BES)as a new stochastic optimization algorithm with fast convergence speed has the ability of prominent optimization and the defect of collapsing in the local *** avoid BES collapse at local optima,inspired by the fact that the volume of the sphere is the largest when the surface area is certain,an improved bald eagle search optimization algorithm(INMBES)integrating the random shrinkage mechanism of the sphere is ***,the INMBES embeds spherical coordinates to design a more accurate parameter update method to modify the coverage and dispersion of the ***,the population splits into elite and non-elite groups and the Bernoulli chaos is applied to elite group to tap around potential solutions of the *** non-elite group is redistributed again and the Nelder-Mead simplex strategy is applied to each group to accelerate the evolution of the worst individual and the convergence process of the *** results of Friedman and Wilcoxon rank sum tests of CEC2017 in 10,30,50,and 100 dimensions numerical optimization confirm that the INMBES has superior performance in convergence accuracy and avoiding falling into local optimization compared with other potential improved algorithms but inferior to the champion algorithm and ranking *** three engineering constraint optimization problems and 26 real world problems and the problem of extracting the best feature subset by encapsulated feature selection method verify that the INMBES’s performance ranks first and has achieved satisfactory accuracy in solving practical problems.

Tirapazamine（TPZ） has been approved for multiple clinical trials relying on its excellent anticancer ***,as a typical hypoxia-activated prodrug（HAP）,TPZ did not exhibit survival advantages in Phase Ⅲ clinical trials when used in combination therapy due to the insufficient hypoxia levels in patients' *** this study,to improve the therapeutic effects of TPZ,we first introduced urea to synthesize a series of urea-containing derivatives of *** urea-containing TPZ derivatives showed increased hypoxic cytotoxicity（9.51-30.85-fold） compared with TPZ,while maintaining hypoxic ***,one of these derivatives,showed 20-fold higher cytotoxicity than TPZ while maintaining a similar hypoxic cytotoxicity *** highly efficiently deliver TPZP to the tumors and reduce its side effects on healthy tissues,we further prepared TPZP into a nanodrug with fibrin-targeting ability:***4-NPs,a vascular disrupting agent,was used to increase the fibrin level within tumors and exacerbate tumor *** being combined with CA4-NPs,FT11-TPZP-NPs can accumulate in the hypoxia-aggravated tumors and activate sufficiently to kill tumor *** a single-dose treatment,FT11-TPZP-NPs+CA4-NPs showed a high inhibition rate of 98.1% against CT26 tumor models with an initial volume of ～480 mm3and four out of six tumors were completely eliminated;it thereby exerted a significant antitumor *** study provides a new strategy for improving the therapeutic effect of TPZ and other HAPs in anticancer therapy.

Hydrogen is now being used as a renewable clean energy *** of the main issues with the application of hydrogen energy is a shortage of security and efficient hydrogen storage ***-based alloys are considered promising hydrogen storage materials,but their comprehensive hydrogen storage properties and cyclic stable performance limit their further practical *** hydrogen storage properties of alloys can be enhanced by substituting transition metal ***,the comprehensive hydrogen storage performance of the Ti0.9Zr0.1Mn0.95Cr0.7V0.2M0.15（M=Fe,Co,Ni,Cu,Mo） alloys was systematically investigated according to the Mn element on the B side is partially replaced by variety of transition metal *** M=Ni alloy,which showed the highest hydrogen storage capacity among the group of alloys,was used to explore cycle *** plateau pressures of the series alloys decreased in order,Fe>Co>Ni>Cu>*** of hydrogen absorption kinetics,all of the alloys can reach full hydrogen absorption saturation within 400 s at 303 *** Ti0.9Zr0.1Mn0.95Cr0.7V0.2Mo0.15alloy possessed the fastest hydrogen absorption kinetic rate(t0.9=65 s) and the smallest hysteresis *** suggests that the substitution of Mo elements is effective in improving the hysteresis of the Laves phase *** the series of alloys,the M=Ni alloy exhibited the best overall hydrogen storage performance,which hydrogen storage capacity can reach 1.81 wt% and 97% of its capacity is kept after 100 cycles.

A viscoelastic metamaterial beam for integrated vibration isolation and energy harvesting

Locally resonant metamaterials have low-frequency band gaps and the capability of converging vibratory energy in the band gaps at resonant cells. It has been demonstrated by several researchers that the dissipatioin of vibratory energy within the band gap can be improved by using viscoelastic materials. This paper designs an integrated viscoelastic metamaterial for energy harvesting and vibration isolation. The viscoelastic metamaterial is achieved by a viscoelastic beam periodically arrayed with spatial ball-pendulum nonlinear energy harvesters. The nonlinear resonator with an energy harvesting function is achieved by placing a free-rolling magnetic ball in a spherical cavity with an additional induction coil. The dynamic equations of viscoelastic metamaterials under transverse excitation are established, and the energy harvesting and vibration isolation characteristics within the dispersion relation of viscoelastic metamaterials are analyzed. The results show that the vibrations of the main body of the viscoelastic metamaterial beam are significantly suppressed in the frequency range of the local resonance band gap. At the same time, the elastic waves are limited in the nonlinear resonator with an energy harvesting function, which improves the energy output. Finally, an experimental platform of viscoelastic metamaterial vibration is established for validation purposes.

Preparation of Chemically Recyclable Poly(ether-alt-ester) by the Ring Opening Polymerization of Cyclic Monomers Synthesized by Coupling Glycolide and Epoxides

Polyester and polyether are two key oxygenated polymers, and completely alternative sequence of poly(ester-alt-ether) could efficiently combine the advantages(including flexibility, degradability, etc.) of both segments. Currently, despite their copolymers could be synthesized from one-pot mixture of cyclic esters and epoxides, perfectly alternative microstructure is very challenging to realize and typically restricted to certain monomer pairs. Moving forward, synthesizing poly(ester-alt-ether) from commercially available and largescale monomers would be a significant advance. For example, successfully commercialized poly(glycolic acid)(PGA), which is not easily soluble in polymers due to its high crystallinity and is brittle and difficult to control the degradation cycle, would encounter a new paradigm if engineered into poly(ester-altether). In this work, starting from the design of monomer with hybrid structures, we successfully synthesized a series of 1,4-dioxan-2-one containing different substituents based on glycolide(GA) and epoxides using commercially available Salen-Cr(III) and PPNCl catalytic *** new monomers underwent ring-opening polymerization(ROP) to form a series of poly(ester-alt-ether) with perfectly alternating glycolic acid and propylene glycol repeat units under catalytic system of thiourea/base. The poly(ester-alt-ether) have significantly lower glass-transition temperature than PGA. Additionally, the poly(ester-alt-ether) can be chemically recovered to monomer using Sn(Oct)2 or 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undecane-7-ene(DBU) as a catalyst in solution, thus establishing a closed-loop life cycle. From monomers derived from GA and epoxides, this work furnishes a novel strategy for the synthesis of poly(ester-alt-ether) with chemical recyclability.

In this study,direct numerical simulations were conducted to investigate the compressible flow around a circular cylinder near a heated wall at a Reynolds number(Re)of 500 and a Mach number(Ma)of *** heating ratio T^(*)ranging from 1.0 to 1.6 represents the different situations of a heated wall,whereas the gap ratio ranges from 0.3 to *** study analyzed the impact of heating effect and wall proximity on flow characteristics and aerodynamic *** results indicated that the stability of the flow was enhanced as the gap ratio decreased or the heating ratio *** the calculation of enstrophy,it was found that the strength of shedding vortices weakens with a decrease in gap ratio or an increase in heating ***,the mean drag coefficient decreases as the heating ratio increases or the gap ratio *** contrast,the mean lift coefficient initially decreases and then increases as the gap ratio ***,the drag reduction mechanism was analyzed by examining the pressure distribution on the surface of the cylinder.

Burn wounds are destructive skin traumas typically of irregular shape and large area. Prone to infection, they require frequent dressing replacement, and painless removal of dressings from burn wounds remains a major challenge. This study focuses on the dynamic characteristics and treatment difficulty of burn wounds. Hydrogel dressings based on glycol chitosan and propionaldehyde-or benzaldehyde-terminated 4-arm poly(ethylene glycol) were designed on the basis of Schiff base cross-linking networks. The hydrogels exhibited shape-adaptability, self-healing and fast-degradation properties, which makes these hydrogels suitable for burn wounds. Salvianolic acid B(SaB)-loaded hydrogel exhibited good antioxidant properties in vitro. In a rat model of deep second-degree burn wounds, the SaB-loaded hydrogel could quickly reduce wound temperature, regulate wound oxidant microenvironment, promote angiogenesis, and accelerate wound healing. Thus, the drug-loaded hydrogel shows significant potential as a first-aid dressing for treatment of burn wounds.

Nonlinear Seebeck and Peltier effects in a Majorana nanowire coupled to leads

We theoretically study nonlinear thermoelectric transport through a topological superconductor nanowire hosting Majorana bound states(MBSs) at its two ends, a system named as Majorana nanowire(MNW). We consider that the MNW is coupled to the left and right normal metallic leads subjected to either bias voltage or temperature gradient. We focus our attention on the sign change of nonlinear Seebeck and Peltier coefficients induced by mechanisms related to the MBSs, by which the possible existence of MBSs might be proved. Our results show that for a fixed temperature difference between the two leads, the sign of the nonlinear Seebeck coefficient(thermopower) can be reversed by changing the overlap amplitude between the MBSs or the system equilibrium temperature, which are similar to the cases in linear response regime. By optimizing the MBS–MBS interaction amplitude and system equilibrium temperature, we find that the temperature difference may also induce sign change of the nonlinear thermopower. For zero temperature difference and finite bias voltage, both the sign and magnitude of nonlinear Peltier coefficient can be adjusted by changing the bias voltage or overlap amplitude between the MBSs. In the presence of both bias voltage and temperature difference, we show that the electrical current at zero Fermi level and the states induced by overlap between the MBSs keep unchanged, regardless of the amplitude of temperature difference. We also find that the direction of the heat current driven by bias voltage may be changed by weak temperature difference.

The development of accurate,rapid and practical electrochemical sensing technology for antibiotic detection has an important application prospect in many fields such as food safety,environmental monitoring,medical and health *** this research,kanamycin specific DNA aptamer and its partially complementary short chain were self-assembled onto the surface of an integrated portable plastic gold electrode(PGE)by Au-s bond,and a simple kanamycin electrochemical biosensor interface was *** the same time,the epoxy resin channel layer was designed,and the auxiliary instrument was set up independently in the laboratory,which could help to measure and analyze eight groups of samples automatically in *** quantitative analysis results showed that in 20 min,the sensor had a good linear relationship between the peak current change of square wave voltammetry and the negative logarithm of kanamycin concentration when kanamycin concentration was in the range of 1-10o0μmol/L,and the detection limit could reach 0.40μmol/*** addition,the discrimination could be achieved within 5 min in the real-time analysis *** sensor had a simple construction method,good selectivity and stability,and could be used for rapid or real-time detection of kanamycin residues in actual water samples,which provided a new direction for the practical detection of kanamycin in environmental watersamples.
