Dear editor,Array antennas, which are able to adaptively generate the mainlobe in the target direction and notches in the jamming directions, are usually employed by modern radars [1–3]. A notch is adaptively placed in the mainlobe direction when mainlobe jamming (MLJ) exists, which changes the shape of the mainlobe and decreases the antenna gain on the target echo. Hence, in this scenario, it makes detecting the target or estimating its direction more difficult, and the problem becomes more serious when MLJ is closer to the target.

Uncertain and hesitant information, widely existing in the real-world qualitative decision making problems, brings great challenges to decision makers. Hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets(HFLTSs), an effective linguistic computational tool in modeling and eliciting such information, have hence aroused many scholars’ interests and some extensions have been introduced ***, these methods are based on the discrete linguistic term framework with the limited expression domain, which actually depict qualitative information using several single values. Therefore,it is hard to ensure the integrity of the semantics representation and the accuracy of the computation results. To deal with this problem, a semantics basis framework called complete linguistic term set(CLTS) is designed, which adopts a separation structure of linguistic scale and expression domain, enriching semantics representation of decision makers. On this basis the concept of fuzzy interval linguistic sets(FILSs) is put forward that employs the interval linguistic term with probability to increase the flexibility of eliciting and representing uncertain and hesitant qualitative information. For practical applications, a fuzzy interval linguistic technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(FILTOPSIS) method is developed to deal with multi-attribute group decision making(MAGDM) problems. Through the cases of movie and enterprise resource planning(ERP) system selection, the effectiveness and validity of the proposed method are illustrated.

For aeronautical composite materials,the appearance of internal delamination has a fatal impact on their mechanical properties and may even seriously threaten aircraft flight *** this study,the effect of internal delamination damage with different sizes and depths on the tensile strength of aeronautical composites was ***,based on carbon-fiber-reinforced composites commonly used in aircraft,laminate specimens with internal delamination damages of different depths and diameters were fabricated,and tensile tests of composite materials were carried ***,the finite element model for the carbon-fiber-reinforced laminate specimens was established,and the validity of the model was verified by comparing its simulation results with the experimental ***,by changing the geometric parameters of the internal delamination damage model,the influence of delamination damage on the tensile strength of carbon-fiber-reinforced composites was analyzed and *** results show that,on the one hand,for the internal delamination damages of the same area,the closer is the delamination damage to the surface layer,the lower is the tensile *** particular,the closer is the delamination damage to the surface layer,the greater is the decrease in tensile strength,which exhibits an obvious nonlinear *** the other hand,for the internal delamination defects of the same depth,the difference in delamination area has little effect on the tensile *** law provides a reference for the damage detection and maintenance focus of aeronautical composite structures,which is of great significance to ensure the safe use of aeronautical composites.

Ripple-effect analysis for operational architecture of air defense systems with supernetwork modeling

In order to solve the problem that the ripple-effect analy- sis for the operational architecture of air defense systems （OAADS） is hardly described in quantity with previous modeling approaches, a supernetwork modeling approach for the OAADS is put for- ward by extending granular computing. Based on that operational units and links are equal to different information granularities, the supernetwork framework of the OAADS is constructed as a “four- network within two-layer” structure by forming dynamic operating coalitions, and measuring indexes of the ripple-effect analysis for the OAADS are given combining with Laplace spectral radius. In this framework, via analyzing multidimensional attributes which inherit relations between operational units in different granular scales, an extended granular computing is put forward integrating with a topological structure. Then the operation process within the supernetwork framework, including transformation relations be- tween two layers in the vertical view and mapping relations among functional networks in the horizontal view, is studied in quantity. As the application case shows, comparing with previous modeling approaches, the supernetwork model can validate and analyze the operation mechanism in the air defense architecture, and the ripple-effect analysis can be used to confirm the key operational unit with micro and macro viewpoints.

This paper presents a neighborhood optimal trajectory online correction algorithm considering terminal time variation,and investigates its application ***,the motion model of midcourse guidance is established,and the online trajectory correction-regenerating strategy is ***,based on the neighborhood optimal control theory,a neighborhood optimal trajectory online correction algorithm considering the terminal time variation is proposed by adding the consideration of terminal time variation to the traditional neighborhood optimal trajectory correction ***,the Monte Carlo simulation method is used to analyze the application range of the algorithm,which provides a basis for the division of application domain of the online correction algorithm and the online regeneration algorithm of midcourse guidance ***,the simulation results show that the algorithm has high real-time performance,and the online correction trajectory can meet the requirements of terminal constraint *** application range of the algorithm is obtained through Monte Carlo simulation.

This paper investigates the problem of Joint Radar Node Selection and Power Allocation(JRNSPA)in the Multiple Radar System(MRS)in the blanket jamming *** radar node independently tracks moving target and subsequently transmits the raw observation data to the fusion center,which formulates a centralized tracking network *** order to establish a practical blanket jamming environment,we suppose that each target carries the self-defense jammer which automatically implements blanket jamming to the radar nodes that exceed the preset interception ***,the Predicted Conditional Cramer-Rao Lower Bound(PC-CRLB)is derived and utilized as the tracking accuracy *** at ensuring both the tracking performance and the Low Probability of Intercept(LPI)performance,the resource-saving scheduling model is formulated to minimize the transmit power consumption while meeting the requirements of tracking ***,the Modified Zoutendijk Method Of Feasible Directions(MZMFD)-based two-stage solution technique is adopted to solve the formulated non-convex optimization *** results show the effectiveness of the proposed JRNSPA scheme.

One important mission of the strategic defense is to develop an integrated, layered ballistic missile defense system（BMDS）. Considering the problem of assigning limited defense weapons to incoming ballistic missiles, we illustrate how defense weapons, ballistic missiles, kill probability and effectiveness of defense（ED） are interrelated and how to understand this relationship for achieving the best allocation plan. Motivated by the queueing theory, in which the available resources are not sufficient to satisfy the demands placed upon them at all times, the layered deployed defense weapon is modeled as a queueing system to shoot Poisson arrived targets. Simultaneously, examples, of optimum intercepts allocation problems under different constraints are presented. The four theorems determine the allocation rules of intercepts to targets that maximize ED or minimize the cost to achieve a required ED.

From the view of information flow, a super-network equilibrium optimization model is proposed to compute the solution of the operation architecture which is made up of a perceptive level, a command level and a firepower level. Firstly, the optimized conditions of the perceptive level, command level and firepower level are analyzed respectively based on the demand of information relation,and then the information supply-and-demand equilibrium model of the operation architecture super-network is established. Secondly,a variational inequality transformation(VIT) model for equilibrium optimization of the operation architecture is given. Thirdly, the contraction projection algorithm for solving the operation architecture super-network equilibrium optimization model with fuzzy demands is designed. Finally, numerical examples are given to prove the validity and rationality of the proposed method, and the influence of fuzzy demands on the super-network equilibrium solution of operation architecture is discussed.

A robust joint frequency spectrum and power allocation strategy in a coexisting radar and communication system

The resource allocation technique is of great significance in achieving frequency spectrum coexistence in Joint Radar-Communication(JRC) systems, by which the problem of radio frequency spectrum congestion can be well alleviated. A Robust Joint Frequency Spectrum and Power Allocation(RJFSPA) strategy is proposed for the Coexisting Radar and Communication(CRC)system. Specifically, we consider the uncertainty of target Radar Cross Section(RCS) and communication channel gain to formulate a bi-objective optimization model. The joint probabilities that the Cramér-Rao Lower Bound(CRLB) of each target satisfying the localization accuracy threshold and the Communication Data Ratio(CDR) of each user satisfying the communication threshold are simultaneously maximized, under the constraint of the total power budget. A Three-Stage Alternating Optimization Method(TSAOM) is proposed to obtain the Best-Known Pareto Subset(BKPS) of this problem, where the frequency spectrum, radar power, and communicator power are allocated using the greedy search and standard convex optimization methods, respectively. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed RJFSPA strategy, compared with the resource allocation methods in a uniform manner and that ignores the uncertainties. The efficiency of the TSAOM is also verified by the comparison with the exhaustive search-based method.
