Gliding arc discharge in combination with Cu/Cu_(2)O electrocatalysis for ammonia production

Highly efficient and green ammonia production is an important demand for modern *** this study,a two-step ammonia production method is developed using a gliding arc discharge in combination with Cu/Cu_(2)O *** this method,NO_(x)is provided by the gliding arc discharge and then electrolyzed by Cu/Cu_(2)O after alkaline *** electrical characteristics,the optical characteristics and the NO_(x)production are investigated in discharges at different input voltage and the gas *** dependence of ammonia production through Cu/Cu_(2)O electrocatalysis on pH value and reduction potential are determined by colorimetric *** our study,two discharge modes are *** high input voltage and low gas flow,the discharge is operated with a stable plasma channel which is called the steady arc gliding discharge mode(A-G mode).As lowering input voltage and raising gas flow,the plasma channel is destroyed and high frequency breakdown occurs instead,which is known as the breakdown gliding discharge mode(B-G mode).The optimal NO_(x)production of 7.34 mmol h^(-1)is obtained in the transition stage of the two discharge *** ammonia yield reaches0.402 mmol h^(-1)cm^(-2)at pH value of 12.7 and reduction potential of-1.0 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).

Bone metastasis,a life-threatening complication of advanced breast cancer,is often accompanied by debilitating pain(cancer-induced bone pain,CIBP)that severely impairs life quality and *** concurrent treatment of bone metastases and CIBP remains a clinical challenge because the therapeutic options are *** this study,we construct a near-infrared light-activated nano-therapeutic system to meet this *** detail,sorafenib(SRF)and photosensitizer(chlorin e6,Ce6)are encapsulated into mesoporous hydroxyapatite nanoparticles(HANPs),which are further functionalized with hyaluronic acid(HA)to obtain HA-SRF/Ce6@HANPs *** designed nanoplatform destroys tumor cells in vitro and in vivo via the synergism of SRF(interrupting the exchange of cystine/glutamate by inhibiting SLC7A11)and photodynamic therapy(PDT,inducing reactive oxygen species generation).The decrease in tumor burden and reduction of extracellular glutamate significantly attenuate CIBP in mice model with developing bone ***,the combination of HA-SRF/Ce6@HANPs and PDT inhibit osteoclasts activation,promote osteoblast differentiation and accelerate bone ***,the nanoagent with good biocompatibility may provide an effective therapy method for the concurrent treatment of breast cancer bone metastasis and CIBP.

We propose a uniﬁed 3D ﬂow frameworkfor joint learning of shape embedding and deformationfor different categories. Our goal is to recovershapes from imperfect point clouds by ﬁtting thebest shape template in a shape repository afterdeformation. Accordingly, we learn a shape embeddingfor template retrieval and a ﬂow-based network forrobust deformation. We note that the deformationﬂow can be quite different for different shapecategories. Therefore, we introduce a novel multi-hubmodule to learn multiple modes of deformation toincorporate such variation, providing a network whichcan handle a wide range of objects from differentcategories. The shape embedding is designed to retrievethe best-ﬁt template as the nearest neighbor in a latentspace. We replace the standard fully connected layerwith a tiny structure in the embedding that signiﬁcantlyreduces network complexity and further improvesdeformation quality. Experiments show the superiorityof our method to existing state-of-the-art methods viaqualitative and quantitative comparisons. Finally, ourmethod provides efficient and flexible deformation thatcan further be used for novel shape design.

Over recent decades, advancements in complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor integrated circuits(ICs)have mainly relied on structural innovations in transistors. From planar transistors to the fin field-effect transistor(FinFET) and gate-all-around FET(GAAFET), more gate electrodes have been added to three-dimensional(3D) channels with enhanced control and carrier conductance to provide higher electrostatic integrity and higher operating currents within the same device footprint. Beyond the 1-nm node, Moore's law scaling is no longer expected to be applicable to geometrical shrinkage. Vertical transistor stacking, e.g. in complementary FETs(CFET), 3D stack(3DS) FETs and vertical-channel transistors(VFET), for enhanced density and variable circuit or system design represents a revolutionary scaling approach for sustained IC development. Herein, innovative works on specific structures, key process breakthroughs, shrinking cell sizes and design methodologies for transistor structure research and development are reviewed. Perspectives on future innovations in advanced transistors with new channel materials and operating theories are also discussed.

Wearable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding fabrics with excellent electromagnetic shielding performance,oxidation resistance,and structural stability are highly demanded for the rapid development of electronic devices and wireless *** are metallic conductive materials with exceptional EMI shielding properties,but they are prone to oxidation in air and have poor structural stability and durability on fabric ***,we present a one-step assembly method to fabricate fabrics coated with MXenes and polymeric sodium alginate(SA)composite(MXene-SA).SA protects MXenes from oxidation and forms a stable interlayer structure by bonding to *** MXene-SA coated fabrics are breathable and flexible,and have a low sheet resistance of 2.12±0.08Ω/sq and a high EMI shielding performance of 37.05 dB at X-band,which is comparable to the best 42.31 ***,the MXene-SA coated fabrics exhibit high structural stability and oxidation resistance under various conditions of sonication disintegration,mechanical abuse,chemical corrosion,and humidity,compared to pure MXenes coated *** believe that the wearable and high-performance MXene-SA fabrics have great potential for the next generation of ultra-portable and wearable EMI shielding products.

As a highly vascular eye part,the choroid is crucial in various eye disease ***,limited research has focused on the inner structure of the choroid due to the challenges in obtaining sufficient accurate label data,particularly for the choroidal ***,the existing direct choroidal vessel segmentation methods for the intelligent diagnosis of vascular assisted ophthalmic diseases are still unsatisfactory due to noise data,while the synergistic segmentation methods compromise vessel segmentation performance for the choroid layer segmentation *** cascaded structures grapple with error propagation during *** address these challenges,we propose a cascade learning segmentation method for the inner vessel structures of the choroid in this ***,we propose TransformerAssisted Cascade Learning Network(TACLNet)for choroidal vessel segmentation,which comprises a two-stage training strategy:pre-training for choroid layer segmentation and joint training for choroid layer and choroidal vessel *** also enhance the skip connection structures by introducing a multi-scale subtraction connection module designated as MSC,capturing differential and detailed information ***,we implement an auxiliary Transformer branch named ATB to integrate global features into the segmentation *** results exhibit that our method achieves the state-of-the-art performance for choroidal vessel ***,we further validate the significant superiority of the proposed method for retinal fluid segmentation in optical coherence tomography(OCT)scans on a publicly available *** these fully prove that our TACLNet contributes to the advancement of choroidal vessel segmentation and is of great significance for ophthalmic research and clinical application.

Platooning represents one of the key features that connected automated vehicles may possess as it allows multiple automated vehicles to be maneuvered cooperatively with small headways on roads. However, a critical challenge in accomplishing automated vehicle platoons is to deal with the effects of intermittent and sporadic vehicle-to-vehicle data transmissions caused by limited wireless communication resources. This paper addresses the co-design problem of dynamic event-triggered communication scheduling and cooperative adaptive cruise control for a convoy of automated vehicles with diverse spacing policies. The central aim is to achieve automated vehicle platooning under various gap references with desired platoon stability and spacing performance requirements, while simultaneously improving communication efficiency. Toward this aim, a dynamic event-triggered scheduling mechanism is developed such that the intervehicle data transmissions are scheduled dynamically and efficiently over time. Then, a tractable co-design criterion on the existence of both the admissible event-driven cooperative adaptive cruise control law and the desired scheduling mechanism is derived. Finally, comparative simulation results are presented to substantiate the effectiveness and merits of the obtained results.
