Construction of 3D porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks for ultrafast and long-cycle life sodium-ion storage

Transition metal sulfides have great potential as anode mterials for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)due to their high theoretical specific ***,the inferior intrinsic conductivity and large volume variation during sodiation-desodiation processes seriously affect its high-rate and long-cyde performance,unbeneficial for the application as fast-charging and long-cycling SIBs ***,the three-dimensional porous Cu_(1.81)S/nitrogen-doped carbon frameworks(Cu_(1.81)S/NC)are synthesized by the simple and facile sol-gel and annealing processes,which can accommodate the volumetric expansion of Cu_(1.81)S nanoparticles and accelerate the transmission of ions and electrons during Na^(+)insertion/extraction processes,exhibiting the excellent rate capability(250.6 mA·g^(-1)at 20.0 A·g^(-1))and outstanding cycling stability(70% capacity retention for 6000 cycles at 10.0 A·g^(-1))for ***,the Na-ion full cells coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)/C cathode also demonstrate the satisfactory reversible specific capacity of 330.5 mAh·g^(-1)at 5.0 A·g^(-1)and long-cycle performance with the 86.9% capacity retention at 2.0 A·g^(-1)after 750 *** work proposes a promising way for the conversionbased metal sulfides for the applications as fast-charging sodium-ion battery anode.

Molecular simulation study of the microstructures and properties of pyridinium ionic liquid[HPy][BF_(4)]mixed with acetonitrile

The microstructures and thermodynamic properties of mixed systems comprising pyridinium ionic liquid[HPy][BF_(4)]and acetonitrile at different mole fractions were studied using molecular dynamics simulation in this *** following properties were determined:density,self-diffusion coefficient,excess molar volume,and radial distribution *** results show that with an increase in the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the self-diffusion coefficient ***,the excess molar volume initially decreases,reaches a minimum,and then *** rules of radial distribution functions(RDFs)of characteristic atoms are *** increasing the mole fraction of[HPy][BF_(4)],the first peak of the RDFs of HA1-F decreases,while that of CT6-CT6 rises at first and then *** indicates that the solvent molecules affect the polar and non-polar regions of[HPy][BF_(4)]differently.

Automatic three-dimensional reconstruction based on four-view stereo vision using checkerboard pattern

An automatic three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction method based on four-view stereo vision using checkerboard pattern is presented. Mismatches easily exist in traditional binocular stereo matching due to the repeatable or similar features of binocular images. In order to reduce the probability of mismatching and improve the measure precision, a four-camera measurement system which can add extra matching constraints and offer multiple measurements is applied in this work. Moreover, a series of different checkerboard patterns are projected onto the object to obtain dense feature points and remove mismatched points. Finally, the 3D model is generated by performing Delaunay triangulation and texture mapping on the point cloud obtained by four-view matching. This method was tested on the 3D reconstruction of a terracotta soldier sculpture and the Buddhas in the Mogao Grottoes. Their point clouds without mismatched points were obtained and less processing time was consumed in most cases relative to binocular matching. These good reconstructed models show the effectiveness of the method.

Analysis of the time-domain spectrum of hydrogen in electric field near helium surface

The Ryderberg electronic wave packet dynamics of hydrogen atom near helium surface in an electric field is investigated using the semiclassical method. The autocorrelation function is calculated when the photoionized electron is excited by a short laser pulse for different atom-surface separations. The results show that new recurrences appear because of the helium surface, and the number of recurrent peaks increases with the decrease in atom-surface distance. The new feature is ascribed to the bifurcation of new closed orbits in the classical dynamics of the photoionized electron. Therefore, surface properties have a significant effect on the spectrum of nearby atoms or ions.

Entanglement and quantum phase transition in the Heisenberg-Ising model

We use the quantum renormalization-group（QRG） method to study the entanglement and quantum phase transition（QPT） in the one-dimensional spin-1/2 Heisenberg-Ising model [Lieb E,Schultz T and Mattis D 1961 ***.（N.Y.） 16 407].We find the quantum phase boundary of this model by investigating the evolution of concurrence in terms of QRG *** also investigate the scaling behavior of the system close to the quantum critical point,which shows that the minimum value of the first derivative of concurrence and the position of the minimum scale with an exponent of the system ***,the first derivative of concurrence between two blocks diverges at the quantum critical point,which is directly associated with the divergence of the correlation length.

Electrical performance of static induction transistor with transverse structure

A novel static induction transistor with transverse surface gate structure was designed and successfully fabricated in this paper. Its basic electrical characteristics and frequency performance was investigated in depth. The optimum technological parameters such as source-gate space and epitaxial layer thickness for obtaining excellent frequency performance and high blocking voltage capacity were represented and discussed in detail. The main advantage of this work is that the performances of device were improved with simple structure and technological processes. The experimental and simulated results demonstrate the trans-conductance gm and gate-source breakdown voltage BVGS of the transverse type SIT increase from 60 to 87 ms and 20 to26 V, respectively, in addition to obtaining higher than 100 MHz operating frequency under relatively simple technology processes compared with those of traditional vertical SIT.

Quantum Correlations in Infinite XY Spin-1/2 Chains and Quantum Phase Transition

We examine the ability of quantum discord (QD) and entanglements (concurrence, EoF and negativity) to detect the critical points associated to quantum phase transitions (QPTs) for XY models, i.e., the isotropic XY model with three-spin interactions at zero temperature, and the anisotropic XY model in a transverse magnetic field h at finite temperatures. For the case of zero temperature, we found that both entanglements and QD can spotlight the critical points of QPTs for these two models. Moreover, QD versus distance M exhibits the long-range behavior of quantum correlation for the anisotropic XY model, while entanglement is short-ranged. For the case of finite temperatures, we found that negativity has the same behaviors with concurrence at or near transition points. Moreover, QD for the anisotropic XY model can increase with temperature even in the absence of a magnetic field.

Reflected and transmitted powers of arbitrarily polarized plane waves at interface between chiral and achiral media

A study has been made on the reflected and transmitted powers generated when an arbitrarily polarized plane wave impinges at a planar interface separating an isotropic achiral medium(IAM) and an isotropic chiral medium(ICM). It follows that the theoretical formulas are derived for the normalized reflection and transmission powers from an IAM–ICM interface for an arbitrary polarized incident wave, and those at an ICM–IAM interface for right-hand circularly polarized(RCP) or left-hand circularly polarized(LCP) incident wave are also obtained. The behavior of the reflected and transmitted waves in different cases is studied, and the dependence of the reflection/transmission of the incident wave on the incident angle and the parameters of the media is investigated in detail. Our numerical results show that high transmission is exhibited under the impedance matching condition and the incident wave can be split into two waves of the same circular polarization state in the case of the ICM–IAM interface, which indicates that circular polarizing beam splitter is achieved.

Large negative Goos-H(a|¨)nchen shift from a wedge-shaped thin film

The analytical expression for the complex amplitude of light reflected from a wedge-shaped thin film is derived. For plane wave incidence, a simple ray tracing approach is used to calculate Goos-Hanchen （GH） shifts; and for non-plane wave incidence, for example, a Gaussian beam, the angular spectrum approach of plane wave is used in simulation. The two approaches predict that a wedge-shaped thin film can produce large negative longitudinal GH shifts. Although the reflectivity is small near the condition of resonance, the large negative GH shifts can be more easily detected in comparison with the shift from a plane-parallel film in vacuum.

High resolution wide swath revisit synthetic aperture radar imaging mode and algorithm

Based on the squint mode, a high resolution wide swath revisit synthetic aperture radar （SAR） imaging mode is pro- posed. The transmitting antennas are configured as the single phase center multiple azimuth beams （SPC MAB）. The formed two beams point to two different directions to obtain two images of the observed scenario. The receiving antennas are configured as displaced phase center multiple azimuth beams （DPC MAB） to decrease the required pulse repetition frequency （PRF）. The de- creased PRF can ensure the high resolution wide swath imaging. Based on the analysis of the character of the return signal, a pro- cessing method named multiple beam multiple channel algorithm （MBMCA） is proposed to separate the aliased sub-beams＇ echoes. The separated echoes are focused respectively to get the revisit imaging to the observed scenario. The simulation experiments ve- rify the validity and correctness of the proposed imaging mode and processing algorithm.
