Clean air actions （CAAs） in China have been linked to considerable benefits in public ***,whether the beneficial effects of CAAs are equally distributed geographically is *** high-resolution maps of the distributions of major air pollutants (fine particulate matter[PM2.5]and ozone[O3]) and population,we aimed to track spatiotemporal changes in health impacts from,and geographic inequality embedded in,the reduced exposures to PM2.5and O3from 2013 to *** used a method established by the Global Burden of Diseases *** analyzing the changes in loss of life expectancy（LLE） attributable to PM2.5and O3,we calculated the gain of life expectancy （GLE） to quantify the health benefits of the air-quality ***,we assessed the geographic inequality embedded in the GLE using the Gini index （GI）.Based on risk assessments of PM2.5and O3,during the first stage of CAAs（2013 to 2017）,the mean GLE was 1.87 *** of the sum of the GLE was disproportionally distributed in about one quarter of the population exposed （GI 0.44）.During the second stage of CAAs（2017 to 2020）,the mean GLE increased to 3.94 months and geographic inequality decreased （GI 0.18）.According to our assessments,CAAs were enhanced,from the first to second stages,in terms of not only preventing premature mortality but also ameliorating health *** enhancements were related to increased sensitivity to the health effects of air pollution and synergic control of PM2.5and *** findings will contribute to optimizing future CAAs.

Evaluation of Hemoglobin and Serum Erythropoietin Levels in Patients with Polycythemia Vera and Secondary Polycythemia

Objective: This study compares hemoglobin and erythropoietin levels in patients with polycythemia vera and secondary polycythemia. Study Design: A retrospective cross-sectional study evaluating the serum erythropoietin and hemoglobin levels in patients with polycythemia vera and secondary polycythemia. This study was performed simultaneously in Texas state of the U.S. and Fars Province in Iran. Methods: Hemoglobin, hematocrit and erythropoietin test results were collected from patients aged 19 to 75 years who were diagnosed with polycythemia vera and secondary polycythemia. Patients records with history of thrombocythemia, congestive heart failure, dyspnea, anemia and pregnant woman were excluded from study. Patients in each decade of life were examined in separate groups, so that changes in hemoglobin related to aging did not affect the research results. Results: 75% of the patients were men, and 25% were women. A total of 1580 patients were analyzed in this study. 57.3% of patients in UTMB and 38.8 patients in Iran have hemoglobin level above 17 mg/dl. 74% of patients in UTMB and 88% of patients in Iran have erythropoietin below 10 IU/mL. Polycythemia in UTMB was more common in people over 50 and in Iran in patients under 50 years old. The serum hemoglobin and erythropoietin levels in patients with polycythemia vera were not significantly different in compare to secondary polycythemia patients. Data showed that there were 84 polycythemia patients per 100,000 people. The results of this study in UTMB and Iran showed that 4.5% and 7%, respectively, of patients with polycythemia had a positive JAK2 test. Conclusion: Low erythropoietin levels may not be helpful in differentiating polycythemia vera from secondary polycythemia. .

Background:Sleep disturbance is commonly seen in fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS);however,high quality studies involving manual therapies that target FMS-linked poor sleep quality are lacking for the Indian ***:Craniosacral therapy (CST),Bowen therapy and exercises have been found to influence the autonomic nervous system,which plays a crucial role in sleep *** the paucity of evidence concerning these effects in individuals with FMS,our study tests the effectiveness of CST,Bowen therapy and a standard exercise program against static touch (the manual placebo group) on sleep quality in ***,setting,participants and intervention:A placebo-controlled randomized trial was conducted on132 FMS participants with poor sleep at a hospital in *** participants were randomly allocated to one of the four study groups,including CST,Bowen therapy,standard exercise program,and a manual placebo control group that received static ***,Bowen therapy and static touch treatments were administered in once-weekly 45-minute sessions for 12 weeks;the standard exercise group received weekly supervised exercises for 6 weeks with home exercises until 12 *** 12 weeks,all study participants performed the standard exercises at home for another 12 *** outcome measures:Sleep quality,pressure pain threshold (PPT),quality of life and fibromyalgia impact,physical function,fatigue,pain catastrophizing,kinesiophobia,and positive–negative affect were recorded at baseline,and at weeks 12 and 24 of the ***:At the end of 12 weeks,the sleep quality improved significantly in the CST group (P=0.037) and Bowen therapy group (P=0.023),and the PPT improved significantly in the Bowen therapy group(P=0.002) and the standard exercise group (P<0.001),compared to the static touch *** improvements were maintained at 24 *** between-group differences were observed for other secondary ***:CST and Bowen therapy improv

目的通过文本挖掘方法对社交媒体信息进行分析,揭示公众和医务人员对护士处方权的关注点和态度。方法使用Python工具自动挖掘2017年1月1日至2022年11月1日在4个中文互联网平台上发布的与关键词“护士开处方”“处方”相关的文本。这4个互联网平台包括知乎、微博.爱爱医医学论坛、丁香园医学论:坛。通过Snow自然语言处理、贝叶斯隐含狄利克雷分布和Boson自然语言处理方法对数据进行人员类别分析、主题分析和情感分析。在主题和情感分析结果的基础上,使用Nvivo11进行内容分析。结果在4个互联网平台.上共获得2 823条评论,计92 859字。分析结果显示,公众和医务人员对护士开处方持否定态度的较多,少数持谨慎的积极态度。公众关注护士处方对医务人员的影响以及对护士能力的要求;医务人员关注护士处方在中国的现状和未来,以及实施护士处方的困难。结论护士应通过努力提高专业能力和自我管理能力,逐步获得公众和医生群体对其专业水平和能力的认可。护士管理者和教育者需要认识到护士处方权的优势,并通过推动立法、教育和提高对护士处方权的认识来应对实施过程中的挑战和问题。

Textile dyes are dramatic sources of pollution and non-aesthetic disturbance of aquatic life and therefore represent a potential risk of bioaccumulation that can affect living *** is imperative to reduce or eliminate these dyes from liquid effluents with innovative biomaterials and ***,this research aims to highlight the performance of Capparis spinosa L waste-activated carbon(CSLW-AC)adsorbent to remove crystal violet(CV)from an aqueous *** mechanism of CV adsorption on CSLW-AC was evaluated based on the coupling of experimental data and different characterization *** efficiency of the CSLW-AC material reflected by the equilibrium adsorption capacity of CV could reach more than 195.671 mg·g^(–1) when 0.5 g·L^(–1) of CSLW-AC(Particle size≤250μm)is introduced into the CV of initial concentration of 100 mg·L^(–1) at pH 6 and temperature 65℃ and in the presence of potassium ions after 60 min of contact time according to the one parameter at a time *** adsorption behavior of CV on CSLW-AC was found to be consistent with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Frumkin's linear isothermal *** thermodynamic aspects indicate that the process is physical,spontaneous,and *** optimization of the process by the Box Behnken design of experiments resulted in an adsorption capacity approaching 183.544 mg·g^(–1)([CV]=100 mg·L^(–1) and[CSLW-AC]=0.5 g·L^(–1) at 35 min).The results of the Lactuca sativa seeds germination in treated CV(70%),adsorbent solvent and thermal regeneration(more than 5 cycles),and process cost analysis(1.0484 USD·L^(–1))tests are encouraging and promising for future exploitations of the CSLW-AC material in different industrial fields.

Ethics of Human Resources Management in the Cameroonian health System, Medical Nomadism and the Ineffectiveness of the Fight against High Blood Pressure

Context/objectives: The fight against Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) is a long-term undertaking, which requires available, motivated and well-managed human resources (HR). The administrative management of skills on both qualitative and quantitative levels is one of the essential functions of a health system. To better implement policies of fight against High Blood Pressure (HBP) and other chronic diseases, it is important to establish strategies to retain health personnel. This loyalty requires favorable working conditions and consideration of the contribution-reward couple. Good working conditions are likely to reduce the phenomenon of medical nomadism;conversely, poor HR management can contribute to their exodus towards exotic “green pastures”, thus leading to an additional crisis in the Cameroonian health system. The fight against HBP is a complex, multifaceted and multifactorial reality that requires appropriate management model for all types of resources mainly HR. The main objective of this research is to show the impact of poor management of human resources in Cameroon health system on medical nomadism and the ineffectiveness of the fight against High Blood Pressure. Method: A cross-sectional descriptive survey among five hundred (500) health facilities in the center region of Cameroon has been conducted. A stratified probabilistic technique has been used, and the number of health facilities to be surveyed has been determined using the “sample size estimation table” of Depelteau. The physical questionnaires have been printed and then distributed to data collectors. After data collection, the latter were grouped during processing in Excel sheets. The Chi-square test was used for data with a qualitative value and that of Kolmogorov-Sminorf for data with a quantitative value to assess the normality and reliability of data. Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Morocco’s healthcare Sector: A Springboard to Medical Excellence

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the healthcare sector worldwide. In Morocco, several AI applications are being deployed in public and private healthcare establishments, improving appointment management, surgical operations, diagnostics, patient record tracking, biology and radiology, and OR organization. This article explores the main AI applications used in the Moroccan healthcare sector, their frequency of use, the types of establishments adopting them, as well as the main functionalities of each application and its contribution to the sector. The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of the main AI applications on quality of care and process efficiency in Moroccan healthcare facilities. This research focuses on several fundamental questions: Which AI applications are most frequently used? What types of establishments are adopting these technologies, and for which specific functionalities? What are the benefits and challenges of integrating AI into the Moroccan healthcare system, particularly in terms of territorial distribution and accessibility? The methodology is based on a quantitative analysis of data collected from selected healthcare establishments, combined with studies of reports from public health authorities and a sweep of their websites. The results show that 45% of hospitals use AI systems for appointment scheduling and 30% for medical diagnosis. The use of surgical robots, such as the Da Vinci system, increased by 30% between 2020 and 2024. Comparisons with other emerging countries highlight Morocco’s acceptable advances, while underlining the challenges, particularly in terms of the territorial distribution of these technological infrastructures generally centralized in the country’s major cities.
