Adaptation analysis and fusion correction method of CMIP6 precipitation simulation data on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau

In order to obtain more accurate precipitation data and better simulate the precipitation on the Tibetan Plateau,the simulation capability of 14 Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)models of historical precipitation(1982-2014)on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau was evaluated in this *** indicate that all models exhibit an overestimation of precipitation through the analysis of the Taylor index,temporal and spatial statistical *** correct the overestimation,a fusion correction method combining the Backpropagation Neural Network Correction(BP)and Quantum Mapping(QM)correction,named BQ method,was *** this method,the historical precipitation of each model was corrected in space and time,*** correction results were then analyzed in time,space,and analysis of variance(ANOVA)with those corrected by the BP and QM methods,***,the fusion correction method results for each model were compared with the Climatic Research Unit(CRU)data for significance analysis to obtain the trends of precipitation increase and decrease for each *** results show that the IPSL-CM6A-LR model is relatively good in simulating historical precipitation on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(R=0.7,RSME=0.15)among the uncorrected *** terms of time,the total precipitation corrected by the fusion method has the same interannual trend and the closest precipitation values to the CRU data;In terms of space,the annual average precipitation corrected by the fusion method has the smallest difference with the CRU data,and the total historical annual average precipitation is not significantly different from the CRU data,which is better than BP and ***,the correction effect of the fusion method on the historical precipitation of each model is better than that of the QM and BP *** precipitation in the central and northeastern parts of the plateau shows a significant increasing *** correlation coefficients between monthly

The spring snow cover(SC)over the western Tibetan Plateau(TP)(TPSC)(W_TPSC)and eastern TPSC(E_TPSC)have displayed remarkable decreasing and increasing trends,respectively,during 1985–*** current work investigates the possible mechanisms accounting for these distinct TPSC *** results indicate that the decrease in W_TPSC is primarily attributed to rising temperatures,while the increase in E_TPSC is closely linked to enhanced *** circulation analysis shows that the essential system responsible for the TPSC changes is a significant anticyclonic system centered over the northwestern *** anomalous descending motion and adiabatic heating linked to this anticyclone leads to warmer temperatures and consequent snowmelt over the western ***,anomalous easterly winds along the southern flank of this anticyclone serve to transport additional moisture from the North Pacific,leading to an increase in snowfall over the eastern *** analysis reveals that the anomalous anticyclone is associated with an atmospheric wave pattern that originates from upstream *** warming of the subtropical North Atlantic(NA)sea surface temperature(SST)induces an atmospheric pattern resembling a wave train that travels eastward across the Eurasian continent before reaching the ***,the decline in winter sea ice(SIC)over the Barents Sea exerts a persistent warming influence on the atmosphere,inducing an anomalous atmospheric circulation that propagates southeastward and strengthens the northwest TP anticyclone in ***,an enhancement of subtropical stationary waves has resulted in significant increases in easterly moisture fluxes over the coastal areas of East Asia,which further promotes more snowfall over eastern TP.

The deep structure,material circulation,and dynamic processes in the Southeast Asia have long been an elusive scientific puzzle due to the lack of systematic scientific observations and recognized theoretical *** on the deep seismic tomography using long-period natural earthquake data,in this study,the deep structure and material circulation of the curved subduction system in Southeast Asia was studied,and the dynamic processes since 100 million years ago was *** is pointed out that challenges still exist in the precise reconstruction of deep mantle structures of the study area,the influence of multi-stage subduction on deep material exchange and shallow magma activity,as well as the spatiotemporal evolution and coupling mechanism of multi-plate *** work should focus on high-resolution land-sea joint 3-D seismic tomography imaging of the curved subduction system in the Southeast Asia,combined with geochemical analysis and geodynamic modelling works.

Geothermal resources are increasingly gaining attention as a competitive,clean energy source to address the energy crisis and mitigate climate *** Wugongshan area,situated in the southeast coast geothermal belt of China,is a typical geothermal anomaly and contains abundant medium-and low-temperature geothermal *** study employed hydrogeochemical and isotopic techniques to explore the cyclic evolution of geothermal water in the western Wugongshan region,encompassing the recharge origin,water-rock interaction mechanisms,and residence *** results show that the geothermal water in the western region of Wugongshan is weakly alkaline,with low enthalpy and mineralization *** hydrochemistry of geothermal waters is dominated by Na-HCO_(3)and Na-SO_(4),while the hydrochemistry types of cold springs are all Na-HCO_(3).The hydrochemistry types of surface waters and rain waters are NaHCO_(3)or Ca-HCO_(3).The δD and δ^(18)O values reveal that the geothermal waters are recharged by atmospheric precipitation at an altitude between 550.0 and 1218.6 *** ratios of maj or solutes and isotopic compositions of^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr underscore the significant role of silicate weathering,dissolution,and cation exchange in controlling geothermal water ***,geothermal waters experienced varying degrees of mixing with cold water during their ***δ^(13)C values suggest that the primary sources of carbon in the geothermal waters were biogenic and ***δ^(34)S value suggests that the sulfates in geothermal water originate from sulfide minerals in the surrounding *** dating using 3H and^(14)C isotopes suggests that geothermal waters have a residence time exceeding 1 kaBP and undergo a long-distance cycling process.

The shale gas exploration of marine-continental transitional facies has gained great attention in China， which is viewed as another breakthrough following the marine shale gas prior to continental shale gas. The Upper Paleozoic marine-continental transitional shales have high TOC abundance with large total thickness in the eastern Ordos Basin， progressively becoming a favorable area for exploration of transitional shale gas. Nevertheless， compared with the relatively homogeneous marine shales， the marine-continental transitional shales demonstrated strong anisotropy in the aspects of thickness， lithology and organic matter (OM). Thus， in this paper， based on the trace element and rock-eval data， we investigated the sedimentary facies， provenance， paleoclimate， paleobathymetry， and redox condition， as well as their controls on the enrichment of organic matter in the Shenfu Block， eastern Ordos basin. The results of trace element experiments indicate that the paleoenvironment of the Ordos Basin underwent a transition from a marine to a continental environment， evolving from the Benxi Formation of the Carboniferous system to the Upper Shihezi Formation of the Permian system. The provenance area is characterised by the presence of high iron and high magnesium feldspar， with a medium degree of weathering. The paleoclimate experienced alternating periods of dry heat， relatively warm wet conditions， and dry heat. The paleowater depth decreased along the sedimentary profile. With regard to the REDOX environment index， the Taiyuan Formation is the stratum exhibiting the highest degree of reduction. The detection criteria for biomarkers were found to be consistent with the inorganic geochemical characteristics. The relationship between various trace elements and TOC indicates that redox conditions are the primary factors influencing the accumulation of organic matter in transitional shale. We present a numerically stable one-point quadrature rule for the stiffness matrix and mass matrix of the three-dimensional numerical manifold method(3D NMM).The rule simplifies the integration over irregularly shaped manifold elements and overcomes locking issues,and it does not cause spurious modes in modal *** essential idea is to transfer the integral over a manifold element to a few moments to the element center,thereby deriving a one-point integration rule by the moments and making modifications to avoid locking *** the stiffness matrix,after the virtual work is decomposed into moments,higher-order moments are modified to overcome locking issues in nearly incompressible and bending-dominated *** the mass matrix,the consistent and lumped types are derived by *** particular,the lumped type has the clear advantage of *** proposed method is naturally suitable for 3D NMM meshes automatically generated from a regular *** tests justify the accuracy improvements and the stability of the proposed procedure.

In the face of sudden pandemics,it becomes crucial for project managers to quickly adapt and make informed decisions that anticipate the consequences of their *** highlights the need for proactive management strategies to enhance epidemic response ***,current research mainly emphasizes the negative impacts of pandemics,often neglecting the development of adaptable management approaches for construction *** study aims to fill this research void by developing strategies tailored to managing pandemics at construction *** agent-based modeling,the study simulates the movement patterns of workers and the consequent spread of an epidemic under different risk scenarios and management *** results indicate that measures such as wearing masks,managing group activities,and enforcing entry controls can significantly reduce epidemic spread on construction sites,with entry controls showing the greatest effectiveness.

When the mining goaf is close to the cliff,rock slope subsidence induced by underground mining is significantly affected by its boundary *** this study,an analytical method is proposed by considering the key strata as a semi-infinite Euler-Bernoulli beam rested on a Winkler foundation with a local subsidence *** analytical solutions of deflection are derived by analyzing the boundary and continuity conditions of the ***,the analytical solutions are verified by the results from experimental tests,FEM and InSAR,*** that,the influence of changing parameters on deflections is studied with sensitivity *** results show that the distance between goaf and cliff significantly affects the deflection of semi-infinite *** response of semi-infinite beam is obviously determined by the length of goaf and the bending stiffness of *** comparisons between semi-infinite beam and infinite beam illustrate the ascendancy of the improved model in such problems.
