Printing perovskite and graphene parallel structure-based optical-mechanical sensors for human-machine interaction

Surgical robots are designed to provide enhanced precision and dexterity compared to manual surgical procedures,which mainly rely on multimodal sensing technologies for the surgeon to seamlessly operate the robotic arms and *** with single-mode sensors, optical and mechanical bi-modal sensors provide improved precision, enhanced safety,and robustness of human-machine interaction systems. Here, the template-guided and pneumatic printing technologies are combined to construct perovskite and graphene parallel structures with both optical and mechanical sensing capabilities. The printed uniformly crystallized perovskite microstructure exhibits fast and sensitive photoelectric response characteristics,enabling shadow recognition functionality. The combination of graphene and elastic rubber endows the great printability to prepare parallel structures near the perovskite arrays for force sensing capabilities. Thus, the printed perovskite and graphene structures possess non-contact optical sensing capabilities to detect hand position by recognizing shadows between the hand and the sensor, as well as contact mechanical sensing capabilities to detect touch force applied by the hand. It provides a synergistic platform for real-time and multidimensional feedback to improve human-machine interaction.

Cooperative communication for wireless networks has gained a lot of recent interest due to its ability to mitigate fading with exploration of spatial diversity. In this paper, we study a joint optimization problem of jointly considering transmission mode selection, relay assignment and power allocation to maximize the capacity of the network through cooperative wireless communications. This problem is much more challenging than relay assignment considered in literature work which simply targets to maximize the transmission capacity for a single transmission pair. We formulate the problem as a variation of the maximum weight matching problem where the weight is a function over power values which must meet power constraints （VMWMC）. Although VMWMC is a non-convex problem whose complexity increases exponentially with the number of relay nodes, we show that the duality gap of VMWMC is virtual zero. Based on this result, we propose a solution using Lagrange dual decomposition to reduce the computation complexity. We do simulations to evaluate the performance of the proposed solution. The results show that our solution can achieve maximum network capacity with much less computation time compared with exhaustive search, and our solution outperforms existing sub-optimal solutions that can only achieve much lower network capacity.

In the field of object detection， it is challenging to achieve a balance between neck complexity and accuracy. To address this issue， we propose an efficient and decoupled neck module called Shared-FPN(Shared Feature Pyramid Network). Our design aims to effectively address the trade-off between these two factors. Neck modules are crucial for effectively fusing multi-scale information in neural network models. However， traditional neck designs， with their single structure， have struggled to significantly improve detection performance. In recent years， the incorporation of neural architecture search techniques in neck design has led to an increase in model complexity. This trade-off between model complexity and detection performance highlights the need for more efficient neck design approaches. Not only does Shared-FPN not increase the number of model parameters and FLOPs， but it also can be easily ported to any of the detection models. It improves on PAFPN by using transposed convolution with a large convolution kernel as the upsampling module， designing spatial pyramidal pooling-fast downsampling(SPPFD) based on shared pooling， and designing shared convolution as the right part module. To evaluate the performance of Shared-FPN in object detection tasks， we conducted experiments on object detection datasets. The results show that Shared-FPN achieved excellent performance across all sizes. In particular， on the VOC 2012 dataset， which contains mostly large objects， Shared-FPN's mAP was improved by 11.2% compared to FPN with YOLOX-s as the detector. On the COCO dataset， which contains mostly small objects， Shared-FPN's mAP was improved by 7.8% compared to FPN and 7.1% compared to PAFPN with Faster RCNN as the detector. Shared-FPN can be easily inserted into any of the detectors for better performance in various scenarios， such as small， medium or large objects.

3D caricatures are important attractive elements of the interface in virtual environment such as online game. However, very limited 3D caricatures exist in the real world. Meanwhile, creating 3D caricatures manually is rather costly, and even professional skills are needed. This paper proposes a novel and effective manifold transfer algorithm to reconstruct 3D caricatures according to their original 2D caricatures. We first manually create a small dataset with only 100 3D caricature models and use them to initialize the whole 3D dataset. After that, manifold transfer algorithm is carried out to refine the dataset. The algorithm comprises of two steps. The first is to perform manifold alignment between 2D and 3D caricatures to get a ＂standard＂ manifold map; the second is to reconstruct all the 3D caricatures based on the manifold map. The proposed approach utilizes and transfers knowledge of 2D caricatures to the target 3D caricatures well. Comparative experiments show that the approach reconstructs 3D caricatures more effectively and the results conform more to the styles of the original 2D caricatures than the Principal Components Analysis （PCA） based method.

For lower dimensional Fermi–Pasta–Ulam（FPU） chains, the α-chain is completely integrable and the Hamiltonian of the β-chain can be identified with the H′enon–Heiles Hamiltonian. When the strengths α, β of the nonlinearities depend on time periodically with the same frequencies as the natural angular frequencies, the resonance phenomenon is inevitable. In this paper, for certain periodic functions α（t） and β（t） with resonance frequencies, we give the existence and stability of some nontrivial exact periodic solutions for a one-dimensional αβ-FPU model composed of three particles with periodic boundary conditions.

Flood disasters can have a serious impact on people's production and lives, and can cause huge ***-sourceremotesensingdata,thisstudyestablished decision tree classification rules through multi-source and multi-temporal feature fusion, classified ground objects before the disaster and extracted flood information in the disaster area based on optical images during the disaster, so as to achieve rapid acquisition of the disaster situation of each disaster bearing *** the case of Qianliang Lake, which suffered from flooding in 2020, the results show that decision tree classification algorithms based on multi-temporal features can effectively integrate multi-temporal and multispectral information to overcome the shortcomings of single-temporal image classification and achieve ground-truth object classification.

We present a statistical method called Covering Topic Score （CTS） to predict query performance for information retrieval. Estimation is based on how well the topic of a user＇s query is covered by documents retrieved from a certain retrieval system. Our approach is conceptually simple and intuitive, and can be easily extended to incorporate features beyond bag- of-words such as phrases and proximity of terms. Experiments demonstrate that CTS significantly correlates with query performance in a variety of TREC test collections, and in particular CTS gains more prediction power benefiting from features of phrases and proximity of terms. We compare CTS with previous state-of-the-art methods for query performance prediction including clarity score and robustness score. Our experimental results show that CTS consistently performs better than, or at least as well as, these other methods. In addition to its high effectiveness, CTS is also shown to have very low computational complexity, meaning that it can be practical for real applications.
