We construct the membership functions of the fuzzy objective values of a controllable queueing model,in which cost elements,arrival rate and service rate are all fuzzy numbers. Based on Zadeh's extension principle,a set of parametric nonlinear programs is developed to find the upper and lower bounds of the minimal average total cost per unit time at the possibility level. The membership functions of the minimal average total cost are further constructed using different values of the possibility level. A numerical example is solved successfully to illustrate the validity of the proposed approach. Because the object value is expressed and governed by the membership functions,the optimization problem in a fuzzy environment for the controllable queueing models is represented more accurately and analytical results are more useful for system designers and practitioners.

This paper aim is to examine the optimal pricing and return policies for false failure returns in a dual-channel supply chain. Four prevailing return policies in which a manufacturer both operates an E-shop and sells its product through a brick-and-mortar retailer are analyzed, i.e. （I） the manufacturer handlings E-shop＇s returns, while the retailer addresses brick-and-mortar store＇s returns （NR）; （II） the retailer tackles the whole （both E-shop＇s and brick-and-mortar store＇s） returns （ORR）; （III） the manufacturer tackles the whole returns （ORM）; and （IV） the manufacturer and the retailer are jointly responsible for the whole returns （RRM）. Firstly, the optimal pricing and return policies comparing these four scenarios under uniform-pricing strategy are presented. Our conclusions show that the ORR is an optimal return policy. Compared with the NR, consumers will get a lower product pricing under the ORR and a higher product pricing under the ORM. With regard to the RRM, the product pricing is depended on consumer preference, return-rates of the E-shop and the brick-and-mortar store. Then, the optimal pricing and return policies are analyzed under differential-pricing strategy by conducting two-stage sequential games between the manufacturer and the retailer. The findings show that if consumers in the market prefer to purchase via the E-shop, the ORR is an optimal return policy. Otherwise, the NR is the optimal return policy. Compared with the NR, the ORR retailer＇s product pricing will rely on the retailer＇s and the manufacturer＇s return-costs; the RRM retailer＇s product pricing will depend on the return-costs of the retailer and the manufacturer, the return-rates of the E-shop and the brick-and-mortar store and so on. Finally, the influences of the manufacturer and the retailer establishing a Buy-back contract are discussed. A modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili （mKP） equation in （3＋1） dimensions is presented. We reveal multiple front-waves solutions for this higher-dimensional developed equation, and multiple singular front-wave solutions as well. The constraints on the coefficients of the spatial variables, that assure the existence of these multiple front-wave solutions are investigated. We also show that this equation falls the Painleve test, and we conclude that it is not integrable in the sense of possessing the Painleve property, although it gives multiple front-wave solutions.

This essay analyzes the data of Chinese telecommunication market, telecommunication investments and investment benefits over the past 20 years. On the basis of these data, the essay reviews Chinese changing telecommunication policies and discusses the major events in the course of China＇s telecommunication development. It is argued that telecommunication policies, regime backgrounds and market demand characteristics have a significant impact on investment decision mode in telecommunication industry. The evolution of network investments decision mode in China＇s telecommunication has corresponded to the transformation of these key factors. Considering the special events in the development of Chinese telecommunication as divisions, the essay discusses three stages of the evolution of investments decision mode in China＇s tel With the firm environment and problems that Chinese telecommunication operators have been facing since 2000 analyzed, it is demonstrated that Chinese telecommunication operators should change their mode of investment decision into the ＂profit-oriented investment decision mode＂ in order to achieve a high growth performance in the capital market,. This investment decision mode will result in increase of the investment profit with limited investment capital. The main procedure of profit-oriented investment decision mode is set out, which is abstracted to a mathematical model eventually.

This paper introduces a novel interconnection network called KMcube （Kautz-Mobius cube）. KMcube is a compound graph of a Kautz digraph and M/Sbius cubes. That is, it uses the Mobius cubes as the unit cluster and connects many such clusters by means of a Kautz digraph at the cost of only one additional arc being added to any node in each Mobius cubes. The topological benefits of both basic graphs are preserved in the compound network. It utilizes the topo- logical properties of Mobius cubes to conveniently embed parallel algorithms into each cluster and the short diameter of a Kautz digraph to support efficient inter-cluster communi- cation. Additionally, KMcube provides other attractive prop- erties, such as the regularity, symmetry, and expandability. The proposed methodology for KMcube is further applied to the compound graphs of Kautz digraph and other Mobius-like graphs with the similar diameter to a Mobius cube. Moreover, other hybrid graphs of Kautz digraph and Mobius cubes are proposed and compared.

User participation in resource allocation is the objective request to satisfy the users' individual need, gain the users' satisfaction, and maximize the resource utilization. Taking multiple constraints into account, the resource allocation is much fit to the actual situation, however, the problem complexity increases correspondingly, leading to the adoption of a soft-computing method. An improved genetic algorithm was proposed for solving the problem. The analysis and discussion of the proposed algorithm were explained in detail. It is shown that the algorithm finds near-optimal solutions at very high percentage, and it performs better than the traditional random method.

The crowdsourcing, as a service pattern in cloud environment, usually aims at the cross-disciplinary cooperation and creating value together with customers and becomes increasingly prevalent. Software process, as a kind of software development and management strategy, is defined as a series of activities implemented by software life cycle and provides a set of rules for various phases of the software engineering to achieve the desired objectives. With the current software development cycle getting shorter, facing more frequent needs change and fierce competition, a new resource management pattern is proposed to respond to these issues agilely by introducing the crowdsourcing service to agile software development for pushing the agility of software process. Then, a user-oriented resource scheduling method is proposed for rational use of various resources in the process and maximizing the benefits of all parties. From the experimental results, the proposed pattern and resources scheduling method reduces greatly the resource of project resource manager and increases the team resource utilization rate, which greatly improves the agility of software process and delivers software products quickly in crowdsourcing pattern.

Dual-image reversible data hiding(RDH)is a technique for hiding important *** technology can be used to safely deliver secret mes-sages to the recipient through dual images in an open network without being easily *** recipient of the image must receive the two stego-images before the secret message can be completely *** is one of the main advantages of data hiding technology;to increase the imperceptibility,the quality requirements of the stego-images are relatively important.A dual ste-ganographic image RDH method,called a DS-CF scheme that can achieve a bet-ter steganographic image quality using the center folding(CF)*** this paper,we developed a translocation and switching strategy(TaS)to shorten the distances between the stego-pixel coordinates and the cover pixel coordinates after information being *** with the DS-CF scheme,our proposed DS-TaS scheme can effectively improve the quality of the steganographic images at the same level of embedding *** experimental results show that the PSNR of our DS-TaS scheme at k=1 was 55.66 dB,which is an increase of 1.5 dB,and is 51.43 dB for k=2,46.66 dB for k=3,and 40.91 dB for k=*** addition,the PSNR values of the stego images was increased by 1.5,0.29,0.29,and 0.19 dB,*** shows that our proposed dual-image RDH method can optimize the visual quality of the stego-images and is better than many other dual-image RDH techniques.
