The role of HPH(Forest Logging Concession)in developing rural communities is very ***(Sumalindo Lestari Jaya)as HPH company has an important contribution in empowering local communities,especially in opening land transportation in the interior and helping to build agriculture and *** existence of Sumalindo company participates in developing forest resource management with local communities,among others,increasing livelihoods,maintaining and developing biodiversity conservation and maintaining climate *** efforts are in accordance with the regulations of the KLHK(Ministry of Environment and Forestry),that every HPH holder is required(mandatory)to obtain a certificate of“PHAPL”(Sustainable Production Natural Forest Management)and an“eco label”from the Indonesian Eco Label ***,it is recommended that the holders of HPH concessions and HTI(Industrial Timber Plantations)have an FSC(Forest Stewardship Council)certificate from the EU(European Union),and must meet three indicator elements,namely economic,social and ecological in SFM(Sustainable Forest Management).This article examines three critical questions that show the role of Sumalindo Company in economic,ecological and social development and managing forest resources with the community as follows:(1)The role of Sumalindo company contributes to the development of road infrastructure in the interior;(2)The role of Sumalindo in improving livelihoods and economic and social empowerment of local communities;(3)The role of Sumalindo with local communities in managing forest resources,including maintaining and developing biodiversity conservation and maintaining climate change.

城镇污水污染物排放是国家工业化发展的必然结果,而减少污水污染物的排放也是国家环境方面的重要战略指标。经过多年的努力,我国虽在污水污染物减排方面取得了一定成就,但面临的挑战仍然显著。根据我国2011~2017年间城镇污水中污染物含量数据,总结分析了污染物排放的时空分布特征。结果显示,我国各省份城镇污水中污染物排放含量与当地工矿产业的发展密切相关,呈现了分布不均的显著特征。同时我国近年来城镇污水排放含量虽大幅减少,但总量现状仍然严峻,甚至部分污染物出现了控制能力不足的特征。因此,根据以上结果提出了解决思路和行业展望,以期对我国污染物减排工作提供新的见解和借鉴。

Straight carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were achieved by simple thermal chemical vapor deposition(STCVD) catalyzed by Mo-Fe alloy catalyst on silica supporting substrate at 700℃. High-resolution transmission electron microscopy images show that the straight CNTs are well graphitized with no attached amorphous carbon. Mo-Fe alloy catalyst particles play a very crucial role in the growth of straight CNTs. The straight carbon nanotubes contain much less defects than the curved nanotubes and might have potential applications for nanoelectrical devices in the future. The simple synthesis of straight CNTs may have benefit for large-scale productions.

Background: The aim of this study was to clarify the degree of information provision to children with brain tumors, factors influencing this provision, and the relationship between this provision and psychosocial consequences. Methods: A total of 157 parents completed a questionnaire on the degree of information provision to their children and sociodemographic and medical characteristics. Parents and their children completed subscales of the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) Cancer Module. Relevant factors were investigated using ordinal logistic regression analysis and compared with PedsQL scores by degree of information provision with adjustment for age. Results: The majority of children aged 2 - 4 years received a low level of information only in regard to medical procedure and preparation. The majority of children aged 5 - 11 years were provided information regarding disease symptoms and treatment, but not actual diagnosis. Approximately half of children aged 12 - 18 years were provided detailed information including their actual diagnosis. Older children generally received more information regarding their disease (odds ratio [OR] = 1.3 per 1 year old, P < 0.001), while children with intellectual disability received less (OR = 0.2, P = 0.006). The provision of information did not worsen scores for Procedural Anxiety, Treatment Anxiety, Worry, or Communication. Conclusions: To our knowledge, this is the first report on the degree of information provision to children with brain tumors. Parents of children with brain tumors in Japan provide information dependent on age and intellectual level. The disclosure of information to children regarding their disease might affect their trust of medical and health care professionals.

＜正＞In the design of a reservoir fully surfaced with asphalt mixture, the concept of basic design was established considering major features of this site such as existence of connection areas between asphalt facing and concrete structures. And a unique and rational stability evaluation flow of asphalt facing was developed focusing on the comparison between the static/dynamic deformation analytic results and material test results. These approaches are expected to contribute to give useful information for rational design of other reservoirs of the same type. By introducing Information Technology （IT） construction systems to large-scale earthworks comprising 6.7 million cubic meters of excavation and 4.5 million cubic meters of embankment, the construction work control and the progress control of working form of this site have been conducted successfully efficient in terms of manpower and time saving as well as improvement of quality such as accuracy of finishing elevation of surfaces of transition layers. In terms of operation of multiple IT construction systems, mis case is considered to be quite rare, so it is hopeful that the introduced content in this paper would contribute to popularization of the IT construction systems.

AIM: To investigate risk factors for development of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) in patients with hepatitis C virus-related liver cirrhosis(LC-C).METHODS: To evaluate the relationship between clinical factors including virological response and the development of HCC in patients with LC-C treated with interferon(IFN) and ribavirin, we conducted a multicenter, retrospective study in 14 hospitals in Japan. All patients had compensated LC-C with clinical or histological data available. HCC was diagnosed by the presence of typical hypervascular characteristics on computed tomography and/or magnetic resonance ***: HCC was diagnosis in 50(21.6%) of 231 LC-C patients during a median observation period of 3.8 years after IFN and ribavirin therapy. Patients who developed HCC were older(P = 0.018) and had higher serum levels of pretreatment alpha-fetoprotein(AFP)(P = 0.038). Multivariate analysis revealed the following independent risk factors for HCC development: history of treatment for HCC [P < 0.001, odds ratio(OR) = 15.27, 95%CI: 4.98-59.51], AFP levels of ≥ 10 ng/m L(P = 0.009, OR = 3.89, 95%CI: 1.38-11.94), and des-γ-carboxy prothrombin(DCP) levels of ≥ 40 m AU/mL at 24 wk after the completion of IFN and ribavirin therapy(P < 0.001, OR = 24.43, 95%CI: 4.11-238.67).CONCLUSION: We suggested that the elevation of AFP and DCP levels at 24 wk after the completion of IFN and ribavirin therapy were strongly associated with the incidence of HCC irrespective of virological response among Japanese LC-C patients.

Objective: This multicenter clinical study was to assess the clinical usability of an oral moisture-checking device in detecting the dry mouth patients and evaluating the optimal measurement site. Materials and Methods: The study group comprised 250 patients with dry mouth and 241 healthy volunteer subjects at 13 medical centers. This device was used to measure the moisture degrees of the lingual mucosa and the buccal mucosa. Subjective oral dryness, objective oral dryness, and saliva flow rates were also compared between the two groups. For statistical analysis, receiver-operating characteristic analysis was performed to calculate the area under the curve (AUC). Results: The moisture degree of the lingual mucosa was significantly lower in the dry mouth group (27.2 ± 4.9) than that in the healthy group (29.5 ± 3.1, AUC = 0.653). When a lingual mucosa moisture degree of 31.0 or higher was defined as normal, less than 27.0 as dry mouth, and 27.0 to less than 31.0 as borderline zone of dry mouth, both the sensitivity and the specificity for the diagnosis of dry mouth were close to 80%. Conclusion: These results suggest that the oral moisture-checking device is a usable screening device for dry mouth.

The cryptic lifestyle of most fungi necessitates molecular identification of the guild in environmental *** the past decades,rapid development and affordability of molecular tools have tremendously improved insights of the fungal diversity in all ecosystems and ***,in spite of the progress of molecular methods,knowledge about functional properties of the fungal taxa is vague and interpretation of environmental studies in an ecologically meaningful manner remains *** order to facilitate functional assignments and ecological interpretation of environmental studies we introduce a user friendly traits and character database FungalTraits operating at genus and species hypothesis *** the information from previous efforts such as FUNGuild and FunFun together with involvement of expert knowledge,we reannotated 10,210 and 151 fungal and Stramenopila genera,*** resulted in a stand-alone spreadsheet dataset covering 17 lifestyle related traits of fungal and Stramenopila genera,designed for rapid functional assignments of environmental *** order to assign the trait states to fungal species hypotheses,the scientific community of experts manually categorised and assigned available trait information to 697,413 fungal ITS *** the basis of those sequences we were able to summarise trait and host information into 92,623 fungal species hypotheses at 1%dissimilarity threshold.

Background During the COVID-19 pandemic,decreased volumes of stroke admissions and mechanical thrombectomy were *** study’s objective was to examine whether subarachnoid haemorrhage(SAH)hospitalisations and ruptured aneurysm coiling interventions demonstrated similar *** We conducted a cross-sectional,retrospective,observational study across 6 continents,37 countries and 140 comprehensive stroke *** with the diagnosis of SAH,aneurysmal SAH,ruptured aneurysm coiling interventions and COVID-19 were identified by prospective aneurysm databases or by International Classification of Diseases,10th Revision,*** 3-month cumulative volume,monthly volumes for SAH hospitalisations and ruptured aneurysm coiling procedures were compared for the period before(1 year and immediately before)and during the pandemic,defined as 1 March-31 May *** prior 1-year control period(1 March-31 May 2019)was obtained to account for seasonal *** There was a significant decline in SAH hospitalisations,with 2044 admissions in the 3 months immediately before and 1585 admissions during the pandemic,representing a relative decline of 22.5%(95%CI−24.3%to−20.7%,p<0.0001).Embolisation of ruptured aneurysms declined with 1170-1035 procedures,respectively,representing an 11.5%(95%CI−13.5%to−9.8%,p=0.002)relative *** analysis was noted for aneurysmal SAH hospitalisation decline from 834 to 626 hospitalisations,a 24.9%relative decline(95%CI−28.0%to−22.1%,p<0.0001).A relative increase in ruptured aneurysm coiling was noted in low coiling volume hospitals of 41.1%(95%CI 32.3%to 50.6%,p=0.008)despite a decrease in SAH admissions in this *** There was a relative decrease in the volume of SAH hospitalisations,aneurysmal SAH hospitalisations and ruptured aneurysm embolisations during the COVID-19 *** findings in SAH are consistent with a decrease in other emergencies,such as stroke and myocardial infarction.
