Governance in the exploration of global and regional determinants of ICT development

The present study assesses how governance affects information and communication technology(IcT)at the global level contingent on macroeconomic policy factors such as trade,foreign direct investment(FDI),manufacturing value added,and agricultural value *** study focuses on 183 countries from 2003 to 2021,and the empirical evidence is based on the generalized method of moments(GMM).The following main findings are *** the full sample,governance unconditionally promotes ICT development,while trade openness(industrial added value)moderates governance to promote(dampen)ICT *** sub-Saharan Africa,only trade openness effectively moderates governance to induce an overall positive effect on ICT,while in the Middle East and North Africa(MENA)region,all policy variables moderate governance for an overall positive incidence on ICT sector *** findings for the MENA region are confirmed in the Europe and Central Asia(ECA)region,with the exception of the moderating role of industrial added value,which engenders an overall negative *** the East and South Asia and the Pacific(ESAP)countries,one overall positive incidence is apparent in the role of trade openness,while net negative effects are established from the moderating roles of industrial added value and agricultural added *** the American sub-sample,a positive(negative)net effect is apparent from the role of industrial added value(trade)in moderating the incidence of gover-nance on ICT sector ***,policy implications are discussed.

A theory of triple magnetopolarons in an isolated quantum well in a strong magnetic field was developed. We study the behavior of the magnetooptical absorption peaks corresponding to the transitions of an electron at the Landau level with quantum numbers n ≥ 2. For n = 2 at the point of equality of cyclotron frequency and the frequency of optical phonon (LO), there is a cross of three terms of the electron-phonon system (the electron at the Landau level n = 2, the electron at n = 1, and the optical phonon and electron at n = 0 and two phonons), considered as a function of the cyclotron frequency. Interaction with phonons takes off the degeneracy of the terms and leads to three disjoint branches of the electron-phonon spectrum. The theory predicts that in the resonant magnetic field, the peak of magnetooptical absorption splits into three peaks, the intensity and position of which are dependent in a complex way on the magnitude of the magnetic field and the constant of the electron-phonon coupling.

A two-dimensional variant of connected nonlinear equations of electrodynamics of the current-carrying orthotropic rotation shells, under no stationary loads is presented. A procedure for solution of asymmetrical problems of magneto elasticity of flexible current-carrying orthotropic rotation shells under no stationary actions of mechanical and electro-magnetic forces is plotted. A stress-strained state of flexible current-carrying orthotropic rotation shells is geometrically nonlinear statement.

In this study,we observe that,in the presence of the string cloud parameter a and the quintessence parameterγ,with the equation of state parameter,ω_(q) = -2/3the radius of the shadow of the Schwarzschild black hole increases as compared with that in the pure Schwarzschild black hole *** existence of both quintessential dark energy and the cloud of strings increases the shadow size;hence,the strength of the gravitational field around the Schwarzschild black hole *** the data collected by the Event Horizon Telescope(EHT)collaboration for M87*and Sgr A*,we obtain upper bounds on the values of a andγ.Further,we see the effects of a andγon the rate of emission energy for the Schwarzschild black *** notice that the rate of emission energy is higher in the presence of clouds of strings and ***,we study the weak deflection angle using the Gauss-Bonnet *** show the influence of a andγon the weak deflection *** notice that both a andγincrease the deflection angleα.

The study of viruses and their genetics has been an opportunity as well as a challenge for the scientific *** recent ongoing SARSCov2(Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome)pandemic proved the unpreparedness for these *** only the countermeasures for the effect caused by virus need to be tackled but the mutation taking place in the very genome of the virus is needed to be kept in check *** major way to find out more information about such pathogens is by extracting the genetic data of such *** genetic data of viruses have been cultured and stored as well as isolated in form of their genome sequences,there is still limited methods on what new viruses can be generated in future due to *** research proposes a deep learning model to predict the genome sequences of the SARS-Cov2 virus using only the previous viruses of the coronaviridae family with the help of RNN-LSTM(Recurrent Neural Network-Long ShortTerm Memory)and RNN-GRU(Gated Recurrent Unit)so that in the future,several counter measures can be taken by predicting possible changes in the genome with the help of existing mutations in the *** the process of testing the model,the F1-recall came out to be more than *** mutation detection’s accuracy of both the models come out about 98.5%which shows the capability of the recurrent neural network to predict future changes in the genome of virus.

In this paper, we study properties of solutions to doubly nonlinear reaction-diffusion systems with variable density and source. We demonstrate the possibilities of the self-similar approach to studying the qualitative properties of solutions of such reaction-diffusion systems. We also study the finite speed of propagation (FSP) properties of solutions, an asymptotic behavior of the compactly supported solutions and free boundary asymptotic solutions in quick diffusive and critical cases.

The Movement of a Mixture of Cotton with an Air Stream during Pneumatic Transport by Pipeline of Variable Cross Section

The article considers the movement of a mixture of air and raw cotton through a pipeline with a variable cross-section as a multi-speed heterogeneous medium. The regularities of the movement of components inside the pipeline, the equation of change in the porosity of cotton, air pressure and component velocities in time and along the transportation line are obtained. It was found that in the initial 20 - 25 m part of the pneumatic transport pipe there is a sharp decrease in pressure and air flow velocity, while the speed of cotton increases rapidly due to which there is a strong deformation of cotton stretching under the influence of aerodynamic force, which occurs due to the difference in the velocities of the components of the mixture, as a result of which the cotton loosens, and its porosity increases intensively.

The requirement for high-quality seafood is a global challenge in today’s world due to climate change and natural resource *** of Things(IoT)based Modern fish farming systems can significantly optimize seafood production by minimizing resource utilization and improving healthy fish *** objective requires intensive monitoring,prediction,and control by optimizing leading factors that impact fish growth,including temperature,the potential of hydrogen(pH),water level,and feeding *** paper proposes the IoT based predictive optimization approach for efficient control and energy utilization in smart fish *** proposed fish farm control mechanism has a predictive optimization to deal with water quality control and efficient energy consumption *** farm indoor and outdoor values are applied to predict the water quality parameters,whereas a novel objective function is proposed to achieve an optimal fish growth environment based on predicted *** logic control is utilized to calculate control parameters for IoT actuators based on predictive optimal water quality parameters by minimizing energy *** evaluate the efficiency of the proposed system,the overall approach has been deployed to the fish tank as a case study,and a number of experiments have been carried *** results show that the predictive optimization module allowed the water quality parameters to be maintained at the optimal level with nearly 30%of energy efficiency at the maximum actuator control rate compared with other control levels.

Central Aggregator Intrusion Detection System for Denial of Service Attacks

Vehicle-to-grid technology is an emerging field that allows unused power from Electric Vehicles(EVs)to be used by the smart grid through the central *** the central aggregator is connected to the smart grid through a wireless network,it is prone to cyber-attacks that can be detected and mitigated using an intrusion detection ***,existing intrusion detection systems cannot be used in the vehicle-to-grid network because of the special requirements and characteristics of the vehicle-to-grid *** this paper,the effect of denial-of-service attacks of malicious electric vehicles on the central aggregator of the vehicle-to-grid network is investigated and an intrusion detection system for the vehicle-to-grid network is *** proposed system,central aggregator–intrusion detection system(CA-IDS),works as a security gateway for EVs to analyze andmonitor incoming traffic for possible DoS *** are registered with a Central Aggregator(CAG)to exchange authenticated messages,and malicious EVs are added to a blacklist for violating a set of predefined policies to limit their interaction with the CAG.A denial of service(DoS)attack is simulated at CAG in a vehicle-to-grid(V2G)network manipulating various network parameters such as transmission overhead,receiving capacity of destination,average packet size,and channel *** proposed system is compared with existing intrusion detection systems using different parameters such as throughput,jitter,and *** analysis shows that the proposed system has a higher throughput,lower jitter,and higher accuracy as compared to the existing schemes.
