Many theoretical approaches to electron capture by C6+, a nd O8+fromthe targets H,He and H2are discussed from the practical stand point at thepresent *** validity of several representative methods for the calcul-ation of total and state selective partial cross sections is given. For the total cross section in many theoretical methods can be appliedand give reasonable *** the state selective partial cross section for adominant channel at low impact velocities manylevel coupled channel calcul-ations can be used and give reliable results,if it belongs to a dominant cha-nnel.

Slow Ar recoil ion Production cross sections by 42 MeV Ar^1+(q=4-14) projectiles were measured using a projectile ion-recoilion coincidence technique in order to provide information on mechanisms of multiple ionization of target atome through pure ionization as well as of that accompaied simultaneously with multiple electron loss or capture of *** present results suggest that inner-shell electron processes caused through electron transfer into projectiles and also electron ionization by projectiles play a key role in the production of multiply charged recoil ions.

This paper describes the preparation and Langmuir-Blodgett （LB） monomolecular film formation of H;, Cu, Ni, Co, and Zn phthaloeyanine compounds with p-vinyiphenoxy peripheral substituent on each benzo ring at either 2- or 3- position [i.e., tetra （p-vinylphenoxy） substituted isomer mixture]. These phthalocyanine derivatives form stable LB films at the film pressures greater than 10 dynes/cm. The surface pressure-area isotherms indicate that the phthalocyanine units are densely packed with a eofacial orientation. Schottky cells of [Indium-Tin Oxide/LB film/Al] were prepared and their electronic properties were examined. Much better rectifying properties, diode parameter, break-down potential and mechanical strength were notified by the post-polymerization of LB-layers. On exposing the polymerized films to tetrahydrofuran vapor, the absorption maxima of Q-band shift bathochromically by about 100 nm, being sensitive to diode laser light.

A sand sample collected at the foot of Flaming Mountain was studied further. On the basis of the change in the relative intensity after heat treatment, one of the sextets observed in its Mossbauer spectrum at liquid nitrogen temperature was ascribed to goethite. This result provides a useful information on the geological history of the region where the mountain is located.

Three different kinds of rare-earth metal phthalocyanine complexes(Pc_2LuH,Pc_3Gd_2, R_(12) Pc_3Dy_2)were *** ultra-thin films were prepared by the Langmuir-Blodgett techni- *** were observed in Langmuir film of Pc_3Gd_2 by means of transmission electron micros- *** limiting molecular areas of the phthalocyanine derivatives on pure water increased in the order mono-,di-and triphthalocyanine,implying that these phthalocyanine molecules are stacked with a face-to-face orientation and edge-on to the water *** using scanning tunneling mic- roscopy individual molecules of lutetium diphthalocyanine adsorbed on graphite surfaces were imaged for the first time.
