AIM:To investigate the types of bacteria in patients with eye infections in suzhou and their drug resistance to commonly used antibacterial ***:The clinical data of 155 patients were retrospectively collected in this study,and the pathogenic bacteria species and drug resistance of each pathogenic bacteria were ***:Among the 155 patients(age from 12 to 87 years old,with an average age of 57,99 males and 56 females)with eye infections(160 eyes:74 in the left eye,76 in the right eye and 5 in both eyes,all of which were exogenous),71(45.81%)strains were gram-positive bacteria,23(14.84%)strains were gram-negative bacteria and 61(39.35%)strains were ***-positive bacteria were highly resistant to penicillin and erythromycin(78.87%and 46.48%respectively),but least resistant to vancomycin at ***-negative bacteria were highly resistant to cefoxitin and compound sulfamethoxazole(100%and 95.65%respectively),but least resistant to meropenem at *** of the resistance of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria to some drugs revealed statistically significant differences(P<0.05)in the resistance of both to cefoxitin,cotrimoxazole,levofloxacin,cefuroxime,ceftriaxone and ceftazidime,and both had higher rates of resistance to gram-negative bacteria than to gram-positive *** distribution of bacterial infection strains showed that Staphylococcus epidermidis was the most common strain in the conjunctiva,cornea,aqueous humor or vitreous body and other eye ***,Fusarium and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were also among the most common strains of conjunctival and corneal ***:Gram-positive bacteria are the dominant bacteria in eye infections,followed by gram-negative bacteria and *** the resistance of gramnegative bacteria to multiple drugs,monitoring of bacteria should be strengthened in eye bacterial infections for effective prevention and control to reduce complications caused by eye infections.

Optimize Purcell filter design for reducing influence of fabrication variation

To protect superconducting qubits and enable rapid readout, optimally designed Purcell filters are essential. To suppress the off-resonant driving of untargeted readout resonators, individual Purcell filters are used for each readout ***, achieving consistent frequency between a readout resonator and a Purcell filter is a significant challenge. A systematic computational analysis is conducted to investigate how fabrication variation affects filter performance, through focusing on the coupling capacitor structure and coplanar waveguide(CPW) transmission line specifications. The results indicate that the T-type enclosing capacitor(EC), which exhibits lower structural sensitivity, is more advantageous for achieving target capacitance than the C-type EC and the interdigital capacitor(IDC). By utilizing a large-sized CPW with the T-type EC structure, fluctuations in the effective coupling strength can be reduced to 10%, given typical micro-nanofabrication variances. The numerical simulations presented in this work minimize the influence of fabrication deviations, thereby significantly improving the reliability of Purcell filter designs.

Free-standing silicon anodes with high proportion of active materials have aroused great attention;however,the mechanical stability and electrochemical performance are severely ***,to resolve the appeal issues,a free-standing anode with a"corrugated paper"shape on micro-scale and a topological crosslinking network on the submicron and nano-scale is ***,an integrated three-dimensional electrode structure is constructed based on robust carbon nanotubes network with firmly anchored SiNPs via forming interlocking *** which,the hierarchical interlocking structure is achieved by directional induction of the binder,which ensures well integration during cycling so that significantly enhances mechanical stability as well as electronic and ionic conductivity of *** from it,this anode exhibits outsta nding performance under harsh service conditions including high Si loading,ultrahigh areal capacity(33.2 mA h cm^(-2)),and high/low temperatures(-15-60℃),which significantly extends its practical ***,the optimization mechanism of this electrode is explored to verify the crack-healing and structure-integration maintaining along cycling via a unique self-stabilization ***,from both the fundamental and engineering views,this strategy offers a promising path to produce high-performance free-standing electrodes for flexible device applications especially facing volume effect challenges.

We present a stable valley photonic crystal(VPC)unit cell with C_(3v)symmetric quasi-ring-shaped dielectric columns and realize its topological phase transition by breaking mirror *** on this unit cell structure,topological edge states(TESs)and topological corner states(TCSs)are *** obtain a new type of wave transmission mode based on photonic crystal zipper-like boundaries and apply it to a beam splitter assembled from rectangular photonic crystals(PCs).The constructed beam splitter structure is compact and possesses frequency separation *** addition,we construct a box-shaped triangular PC structures with zipper-like boundaries and discover phenomena of TCSs in the corners,comparing its corner states with those formed by other *** on this,we explore the regularities of the electric field patterns of TESs and TCSs,explain the connection between the characteristic frequencies and locality of TCSs,which helps better control photons and ensures low power consumption of the system.

3D-structured carbon nanotube fibers as ultra-robust fabrics for adaptive electromagnetic shielding

Wireless communication technology is indispensable in our daily lives,but it also results in serious electromagnetic radiation ***,developing smart electromagnetic interference shielding materials with adjustable electromagnetic wave(EMW)responses holds significant promise for future electromagnetic shielding *** this study,we propose an electromagnetic shielding switch(ESS)characterized by tunable electromagnetic shielding performance achieved by fabricating a three-dimensional(3D)carbon nanotube-based spacer fabric(CNT-SF)and modifying CNT-SF with chemical vapor deposition(CCNT-SF).The CCNT-SF displays direction-dependent electrical conductivity by manipulating the warp and weft density,measuring 128 S/m transversely and 447 S/m *** characteristic allows the CCNT-SF to transmit or shield EMW by adjusting the angle of EMW incidence through fabric rotation,resulting in anisotropic electromagnetic shielding performance(33 dB transversely and 87 dB vertically).This feature enables switchable shielding with an on/off ratio of ***,the unique 3D structure confers excellent mechanical properties on the fabric,with compressive strength reaching 120 *** a flexible,lightweight,and mechanically robust ESS,the CCNT-SF holds promising prospects for mitigating the challenges of increasingly severe and intricate electromagnetic environments.

Differential expression of miRNAs and mRNAs in the livers of largemouth bass Micropterus salmoides under heat stress

Global warming threatens freshwater ecosystems and compromises fish *** elucidate the role of miRNAs in the livers of heat stressed largemouth bass,juvenile fish was subject to heat stress under 37°*** mRNA-seq and miRNA-seq were conducted on the liver tissues under control and heat stress *** gene expression analysis and enrichment analysis were performed on mRNA and miRNA expression profiles.A total of 406 differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were discovered,of which 212 were up-regulated and 194 were *** of the DEGs were significantly implicated in the regulation of“protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum”,“proteasome”,“steroid biosynthesis”,and“ornithine decarboxylase inhibitor activity”*** addition,47 differentially expressed miRNAs(DEMs)were identified in largemouth bass livers under heat stress,including 21 up-regulated and 25 down-regulated miRNAs.A negatively regulated miRNA-mRNA network including 12 miRNAs and 19 mRNAs was constructed with DEMs involved in“protein degradation”,“calcium ion regulation”,“cell apoptosis”,and“lipid metabolism”.Moreover,this study indicated novel-miR-144 activated the IRE1 signaling pathway by targeting txndc5 to induce liver apoptosis in largemouth bass under heat *** study revealed the involvement of miRNA regulation in largemouth bass in response to heat stress.
