ORDER DECISION MAKING BASED ON DIFFERENT STATEMENT STRATEGIES UNDER STOCHASTIC MARKET DEMAND

Based on the stochastic market demand, this paper considers the order decision-making strategies of the supply chain by introducing statement strategies. Consequently, the time-variant variance in the demands of the market is incorporated into the model. The retailer simultaneously determines the purchase time （i.e., lead time） and order quantity, and the manufacturer determines the statement strategy and the reserved profit rate. The results show that the no overtime statement strategy can induce the retailer to place more orders in advance by limiting the available order quantity within the available time. Finally, we also adopt numerical examples to support the conclusion of this paper.

A Japanese candlestick chart consists of not only the closing price but also the high,low and opening price *** the Japanese candlestick,this paper investigates the forecasting power of the shadow in Japanese candlestick *** studies performed with the US stock market show that 1)there is a significant Halloween effect in the shadow;2)shadow is valuable for predicting the stock market returns in both statistical and economic sense;3)the predictability reported by the shadow can not be explained by either the CAPM model or the Fama-French three-factor *** paper confirms that predictability of the stock market can be improved if more price information is used.

This paper studies the impact of logistics cooperation in two competing companies,one of which is equipped with a self-run logistics system while the other is *** latter outsources logistics services to a third-party logistics company before logistics cooperation,or to its competitor after logistics cooperation with the client's service quality being in proportion to and no greater than the service provider's service *** find that when the service provider is a price taker,logistics cooperation is beneficial to both firms only when the service quality after logistics cooperation is ***,under some circumstances,the client's profit increases even when its service quality decreases after logistics cooperation because logistics cooperation eases the price *** also find that all-win situations in which logistics cooperation increases the firms7 profit,consumer surplus and social welfare can be ***,when the service price can be chosen by the service provider,we propose a negotiation process in which agreement on logistics cooperation can be reached;when the firm can invest in service quality,logistics cooperation may lower the equilibrium investment level.

Study on the Diffusion Performance of Standard E-Government Information Systems

Standard e-government information system(SEIS) including mobile-government applications are playing more and more important roles in the establishing of national e-government framework. It can be beneficial not only for avoiding redundant e-government IS development but also for improving collaboration among government agencies. Two research questions were explored: what are the factors influencing the performance of SEIS? Will mandatory SEIS create a better performance than non-mandatory SEIS? Specifically, the use of five categories of IS aspects--information system quality, online service quality, offline service quality, diffusion modes and standard network size—is proposed to understand the performance of SEIS through applying both survey study and simulation study. The results show that information system quality and online service quality of SEIS have strong effects on users' expectation and users' satisfaction, which thereafter promotes the performance of SEIS. Government agencies' offline service quality shows a significant effect on users' satisfaction while not on users' expectation. Furthermore, the diffusion speed of SEIS in non-mandatory and mandatory modes and the standard network size also have great influence on the utility of SEIS.

Two Optimal Aggregation Approaches of Fuzzy Opinions in Group Decision Analysis

The aggregation of fuzzy opinions is an important component of group decision analysis with fuzzy information. This paper proposes two new approaches for the assessment of the weights to be associated with fuzzy opinions. These approaches involve,respectively,the minimization of the sum of squared differences between the individual weighted fuzzy opinion and the weighted mean value of all fuzzy opinions,which is called the weighted minimum variance method (WMVM),and the minimax difference of any two adjacent individual weighted fuzzy opinions,which is called the mean value minimax differences method (MVMDM). The two approaches are developed and numerical examples are presented to illustrate their simplicity and effectiveness in aggregating fuzzy opinions.

The Impact of Outsourcing on Local Industry Upgrading: a Case of China from a Global Value Chain Perspective

This paper develops a conceptual model to assess effect of outsourcing by integrating the theories of industrial upgrading and global value chain (GVC) governance. Contrary to the widely accepted perception that outsourcing is expected to generate positive spillover in particular, the findings indicate that outsourcing has different effects in different GVC governance modes. Excess outsourcing could structurally inhibit technology and management spillovers to subcontractors within the emerging economy context. Based on a case study of the Chinese textile and apparel (T & A) industry, it is found that the Chinese T & A industry has been trapped in the captive governance relationship with foreign buyers, and at the same time is capped below the function upgrading level. Consequences of the situation and implication are then discussed.

Feedback supply chain is a key structure in the supply chain system, and the development of feedback supply chain for biogas biomass energy is one of the important ways of the rural ecological civilization construction. Presently, the efficiency problem of biogas supply chain in rural China has been restricting the development of biogas biomass energy business. This article, on the basis of combination of regulation parameters, describes the dynamic changes in the system, using differential equations integrated with simulation to reveal the rules of regulation parameters to investigate the efficiency problem in the biogas supply chain. First of all, on the basis of the actual situation, the flow level and flow rate system structure model and simulation equation set are established for the biogas energy feedback supply chain from a scale livestock farm to peasant households; On the basis of the differentiability of the simulation equation a third order inhomogeneous differential equation with constant coefficients containing regulative parameters is established for the quantity of biogas stored in the feedback supply chain. A theorem and its corollaries are established for the operating efficiency of supply chain to reveal the change law of the quantity of biogas, the quantity of biogas consumed daily by peasant households and its standard-reaching rate as well as other variables.

By using the unsymmetrical scale instead of the symmetrical scale,the multiplicative intuitionistic fuzzy sets(MIFSs) reflect our intuition more *** element in a MIFS is expressed by an ordered pair which is called a multiplicative intuitionistic fuzzy number(MIFN)and is based on the unbalanced scale(i.e.,Saaty’s 1-9 scale).In order to describe the derivatives and differentials for multiplicative intuitionistic fuzzy information more comprehensively,in this paper,we firstly propose two new basic operational laws for MIFNs,which are the subtraction law and the division ***,we describe the change values of MIFNs when considering them as variables,classify these change values based on the basic operational laws for MIFNs,and depict the convergences of sequences of MIFNs by the subtraction and division ***,we focus on the multiplicative intuitionistic fuzzy functions and derive some basic results related to their continuities,derivatives and differentials,and also give their application in selecting the configuration of a computer.
