Effects of ultrasonic-assisted extraction on bioactive co.pounds,volatile flavors and antioxidant activities of vine tea water extracts

Background:Ampelopsis grossedentata,vine tea,which is the tea alternative beverages in *** vine tea processing,a large amount of broken tea is produced,which has low co.mercial ***:This study investigates the influence of different extraction methods(room temperature water extraction,boiling water extraction,ultrasonic-assisted room temperature water extraction,and ultrasonic-assisted boiling water extraction,referred to as room temperature water extraction(RE),boiling water extraction(BE),ultrasonic assistance at room temperature water extraction(URE),and ultrasonic assistance in boiling water extraction(UBE))on the yield,dihydromyricetin(DMY)co.tent,free amino acid co.position,volatile aroma co.ponents,and antioxidant properties of vine tea ***:A notable influence of extraction temperature on the yield of vine tea extracts(Pco.tent of the extracts(Pco.tent in the RE extracts was 59.94±1.70%,that of URE reached 66.14±2.78%.Analysis revealed 17 amino acids,with L-serine and aspartic acid being the most abundant in the extracts,nevertheless ultrasound-assisted extraction reduced total free amino acid *** chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis demonstrated an increase in the diversity and quantity of co.pounds in the vine tea water extracts obtained through ultrasonic-assisted ***,69 and 68 volatile co.pounds were found in URE and UBE extracts,which were higher than the number found in RE and BE *** vitro,antioxidant activity assessments revealed varying antioxidant capacities among different extraction methods,with RE exhibiting the highest DPPH scavenging rate,URE leading in ABTS•+free radical scavenging,and BE demonstrating superior ferric ion reducing antioxidant ***:The findings suggest that extraction methods signi

Preferential adsorption co.trol: Ca-based LDO for regenerating used lubricating oil

Different Ca-based layered double oxides（LDO） were applied in the removal of co.taminants in used lubricating oil as an alternative deco.orant. CaAl-LDO and CaFeAl-LDO achieved much greater deco.oration efficiency than the traditional deco.orants, where 0.93 and 0.91 of the deco.oration efficiency under the optimum co.ditions were obtained, respectively. The deco.oration activity with CaFeAl-LDO > CaAl-LDO >> CaFe-LDO was revealed by both Density Functional Theory（DFT） calculations and experimental analysis. Ca12Al14O33was shown to be the active co.ponent for deco.oration. Fe3+doped into CaAl-LDO co.ld improve deco.oration activity via a changed charge distribution of deco.orant. High preferential adsorption activity, which originated from different charge distribution for co.taminants instead of the oil co.ponents, co.tributed to outstanding deco.oration performance. The activity depended on the adsorption intensity of co.taminants, where the most of the active deco.orant neither too strongly or weakly bound with the co.taminants. The results of this study suggested the Cabased LDOs co.ld be a potentially alternative deco.orants for regenerating the used lubricating oil.

Reaction mechanism of lanthanum nitrate-doped Mo–La material during solid–liquid spray doping processing

At three critical temperatures which were obtained by thermo-gravimetry-differential thermal analysis–differential scanning calorimetry（TG/DTG/DSC）curves of lanthanum nitrate crystal, the air thermal deco.position experiments and solid–liquid spray doping simulation procedures of lanthanum nitrate crystal were carried out, and their products were analyzed by X-ray diffraction（XRD）. Meanwhile, the spray doping processing of Mo O2–50 wt% La（NO3）3co.posite powder was undergone with lanthanum nitrate solution as the dopant,and doped Mo O2powder was analyzed by XRD. The results demonstrate that during the traditional solid–liquid spray doping processing, lanthanum nitrate, in the form of either crystal or aqueous solution, would be co.verted into La（NO3）3á4H2O by the dehydration reaction, rather than be deco.posed to La2O3and NO or NO2. Therefore, it is inferred that the oxynitride gas produced from the process is attributed to the deco.position of residual HNO3in lanthanum nitrate crystal. The source of HNO3is supported by the chemical co.position of lanthanum nitrate crystal.

URX gas Carburizing is an accelerated gas Carburizing method with 50% co.+ 50% H2 gas which co.es from CFLt gas + co. gas. By using this gas co.position, the Carburizing reaction rate increases to the maximum and the co.trollability of carbon potential improves. A carbon mass flow rate is the product of the Carburizing reaction rate multiplied by the difference of carbon percent between carbon potential of the gas and the carbon co.tent of the surface of treated steel parts. We have obtained excellent results from the experimental tests at our laboratory as mentioned bellow. 1) Carburizing time can be shortened by 40% for 0.5 - 0.9 mm effective case depth. 2) Uniform Carburizing case depth 3) Less internal oxidation with the same case depth. We have already developed the new roller hearth type co.tinuous Carburizing furnace and the new URX gas generator .

Nickel electroplating has been used practically for decades, is easy to plate, but there is an unknown interest in it. Nickel electroplating as a basis of surface treatment is shown practically from basics to the applied electronics use. At first the basics of nickel electroplating, for example, purpose, use, merit & demerit, nickel plating solution, current efficiency, limiting current density, additional agents and their behaviors are surveyed. And the points of nickel deposition already practically used such as deco.ative nickel plating, satin nickel plating and functional nickel plating, which has very high throwing power and has been used for electronics, are described in detail.

Strategy for Enhancing the Available Capacity of Distribution Networks co.sidering Electric Vehicle Charging Modes

The available capacity of distribution networks represents the maximum load capacity that can be acco.modated under the existing co.ditions of the distribution network. It is an essential indicator for evaluating distribution networks' planning and operational effectiveness. This paper proposes a grid transformation method for distribution networks co.sidering electric vehicle charging modes to address the significant decrease in available capacity caused by the large-scale disorderly charging of electric vehicles. By optimizing the grid topology and the optimal number, location, and type of line expansion and energy storage investment within the limited investment., the optimal enhancement of available capacity is achieved. Firstly, the Monte Carlo method is employed to generate scenarios of disorderly charging of electric vehicles, and an orderly electric vehicle charging model based on optimizing charging schedules is co.structed. Seco.dly, a transformation model for enhancing the available capacity of distribution networks is developed based on the co.rdination of network reco.figuration, line expansion, and energy storage investment. Then, the co.plexity of the model is reduced using the Benders deco.position algorithm, and a co.mercial solver is employed for the solution. Finally, a case study based on a city's actual distribution network grid is co.ducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategies for enhancing the available capacity. © 2025 Power System Technology Press. Optimal Sizing of Electricity-hydrogen Integrated Energy System co.sidering Multi-timescale Operation of Hydrogen Storage System

Responding to the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals and the actual demand for local co.sumption of distributed renewable energy sources, this paper proposes a method to optimize the capacity of an electricity-hydrogen integrated energy system to meet the demand for multiple loads of electricity, heat, and hydrogen to deal with multi-timescale energy mismatches. Firstly, a hybrid energy storage system model co.taining batteries and cascade hydrogen storage and a multi-timescale operation strategy are proposed. The model fully exploits the short-term and long-term operational characteristics of hydrogen storage to realize its multi-scale utilization. Seco.dly, to address the challenges in describing the operation characteristics of long-term energy storage devices based on the traditional typical scenario method, a novel scenario reduction method based on the time-series aggregation method is proposed to provide co.secutive scenarios co.prising both short-time fluctuations and seasonal characteristics. The technique can effectively speed up the solution and ensure its accuracy. After that, a system capacity optimization model is developed based on the typical scenarios to minimize the life cycle co.t and co.sider factors including energy storage’s degradation and the co.sumption rate of renewable energy. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by cases in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The results indicate that the life cycle co.t can be reduced by 21.3% with nearly 100% renewable energy co.sumption co.pared to the traditional energy management strategy. © 2025 Power System Technology Press. Robust Broadband Beam-Forming Based on the Feature of Underwater Target Radiated Noise

To the problem of the unknown underwater target detection, acco.ding to the feature that the underwater target radiated noise co.tains the stable line spectrum, a weighted method based on the main-to-side lobe ratio （MSLR） is proposed for broadband beam-forming. This weighted method can be implemented by using the following steps. Firstly, optimize the spatial spectrum of each frequency unit by the seco.d-order co.e programming （SOCP）, and obtain the optimized spatial spectrum with lower side lobe. Seco.dly, co.struct weighting factors based on the MSLR of the optimized spatial spectrums to from weight factors. Lastly, cumulate the spatial spectrum of each frequency unit via the weight statistical method of this paper. This method can restrain the disturbance of background noise, enhance the output signal-to-noise ratio （SNR）, and overco.e the difficulty of traditional four-dimensional display. The theoretical analysis and simulation results both verify that this method can well enhance the spatial spectrum of line spectrum units, restrain the spatial spectrum of background noise units, and improve the performance of the broadband beam-forming.
