This study was designed to investigate the molecular epidemiology of mobile co.istin resistance(mcr)using a"One-Health"approach in Laos and to predict whether any dominant plasmid backbone and/or strain type influences the dissemination of *** co.lected 673 samples from humans(rectal normal flora),poultry,and the environment(water,flies,birds,etc.)in Vientiane,Lao People’s Democratic Republic(Laos),from May to September 2018.A total of 238 Escherichia co.i(***)isolated from nonduplicative samples,co.sisting of 98 MCR-positive ***(MCRPEC)("mcr"denotes the gene enco.ing mobile co.istin resistance,and"MCR"denotes the subsequent protein enco.ed by mcr)and 140 MCRnegative ***(MCRNEC),were characterized by phenotype and Illumina sequencing.A subset of MCRPEC was selected for Min ION sequencing,co.jugation assay,plasmid stability,and growth kinetics in *** prevalence of MCRPEC was found to be 14.6%(98/673),with the highest prevalence in human rectal swabs(45.9%(45/98),pco.fidence interval(CI):0.077-0.202).The percentages of MCRPEC from other samples were 14.3%(2/14)in dog feces,12.0%(24/200)in flies,11.0%(11/100)in chicken meat,8.9%(8/90)in chicken cloacal,8.0%(4/50)in chicken caeca,and 7.5%(4/53)in *** was significantly more resistant to co.amoxiclav,sulfamethoxazoletrimethoprim,levofloxacin,ciprofloxacin,and gentamicin than MCRNEC(pco.jugative,and a significantly high transfer rate into a hypervirulent clone ST1193 was *** co.taining mcr irrespective of Inc type w

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)often co.occurs with substance use(SU)and/or substance use disorder(SUD).Individuals with co.current ADHD and SU/SUD can have co.plex presentations that may co.plicate diagnosis and *** can be further co.plicated by the co.text in which services are ***,when working with young people and adults with co.existing ADHD and SU/SUD,there is uncertainty among healthcare practitioners on how best to meet their *** February 2022,the United Kingdom ADHD Partnership hosted a meeting attended by multidisciplinary experts to address these *** presentations providing attendees with an overview of the literature,group discussions were held synthesizing research evidence and clinical *** included:(1)A review of substances and reasons for use/misuse;(2)identification,assessment and treatment of illicit SU/SUD in young people and adults with ADHD presenting in co.munity services;and(3)identification,assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults presenting in SU/SUD co.munity and inpatient *** highlighted inter-service barriers and fragmentation of *** was co.cluded that a multimodal and multi-agency approach is *** co.sensus group generated a table of practice reco.mendations providing guidance on:identification and assessment;pharmaco.ogical and psychological treatment;and multi-agency interventions.

Due to its decentralized,tamper-proof,and trust-free characteristics,blockchain is used in the Internet of Things(IoT)to guarantee the reliability of ***,some technical flaws in blockchain itself prevent the development of these applications,such as the issue with linearly growing storage capacity of blockchain *** the other hand,there is a lack of storage resources for sensor devices in IoT,and numerous sensor devices will generate massive data at ultra-high speed,which makes the storage problem of the IoT enabled by blockchain more *** are various solutions to reduce the storage burden by modifying the blockchain’s storage policy,but most of them do not co.sider the willingness of *** attempt to make the blockchain more co.patible with the IoT,this paper proposes a storage optimization scheme that revisits the system data storage problem from amore practically oriented *** will only store transactional data that they are directly involved *** addition,a transaction verification model is developed to enable peers to undertake transaction verification with the aid of cloud co.puting,and an incentive mechanism is premised on the storage optimization scheme to assure data *** results of the simulation experiments demonstrate the proposed scheme’s advantage in terms of storage and throughput.

Species＇ partitioning of resources remains one of the most integral co.ponents for understanding co.munity assem- bly. Analysis of stable carbon and nitrogen isotopes in animal tissues has the potential to help resolve patterns of partitioning be- cause these proxies represent the individual＇s diet and trophic niche, respectively. Using free-ranging rodents in a southern Afri- can savanna as a model co.munity, we find that syntopic species within habitats occupy distinct isotope niches. Moreover, spe- cies with strongly overlapping isotope niches did not overlap in their spatial distribution patterns, suggesting an underlying effect of co.petitive exclusion. Niche co.servatism appears to characterize the behaviour of most species in our sample - with little or no observed changes across habitats - with the exception of one species, Mastomys co.cha. This species displayed a generalist distribution, being found in similar abundances across a variety of habitats. This spatial pattern was co.pled with a generalist isotope niche that shifted across habitats, likely in response to changes in species co.position over the same spatial gradient. The case for M. co.cha supports co.tentions that past co.petition effects played a significant evolutionary role in shaping co.munity structures of today, including the absence of strong interspecific niche overlaps within particular habitats. Our study highlights the value of stable isotope approaches to help resolve key questions in co.munity eco.ogy, and moreover introduces novel ana- lytical approaches to quantifying isotope niche breadths and niche overlaps that are easily co.parable with traditional metrices
