Realistic 3D-animation is used in all motion simulation systems of mechanisms and other mechanicals systems. It provides a high-quality illustration of time processes, but it has a weak capability for analysis of their dynamics, for simultaneous display of contact interaction and functioning of mechanisms of different motion types. A spacecraft docking is characterized by a complex contact interaction of docking assemblies with mechanisms and devices of different motion types. Integration and time synchronization of the animation, plots and numerical values greatly facilitates the understanding of dynamics features of these processes. Usage of simple wireframe graphical models allows displaying all contact points. A changing of the set of graphical elements focuses attention on major events of a simulated process. Graphical models developed with consideration of these features and used for spacecraft docking simulation analysis are called dynamic diagrams and described in this paper.

satisfying various terminal constraints and achieving evasive flight in no-flying-zones (NFZs) are two important flight missions undertaken by high velocity vehicles. We studied an intelligent maneuvering guidance strategy using deep reinforcement learning (DRL) methods to achieve the coordination and unification of evasive flight and multi-constrained guidance with minimal energy loss.

Chang’e-4 is the first man-made probe that accomplished landing and roving on the far side of the Moon, which is viewed as a new milestone in the history of Lunar exploration. Beginning with a brief introduction to the progress of domestic and foreign Lunar exploration, this paper reviews the implementation process of the Chang’e-4 project, sorts out the technical breakthroughs achieved, summarizes the exploration achievements, and provides references for subsequent Lunar exploration.

In the process of deducing the Holder principle, a key step is to use the concept of non-contemporaneous variations. In this paper, whether starting from analytic method or from graphic solution method, the authors prove that the expression formula of non-contemporaneous variations is incorrect when the variable functions have zero-order nearness degree, and obtain a new expression. From the view of calculus of variations and differential calculus, the non-contemporaneous variations are studied. The study result shows that the concept of non-contemporaneous variations is a combination of the concept of variations and the concept of differentiation. The authors prove that the new expression is correct and obtain an equivalent expression of it. By means of this equivalent expression, this paper proves that the above expression formula of non-contemporaneous variations is correct when the variable functions have one-order nearness degree. Further study shows that, in the process of deducing Holder's principle, there is an implicit expression. Whether starting from analytic method or from graphic solution method, the authors discovered that the implicit expression of non-contemporaneous variations is incorrect when the variable functions have zero-order nearness degree and have one-order nearness degree. This paper proves that the implicit expression of non-contemporaneous variations is correct when the variable functions have two-order nearness degree. Further study shows that Holder's principle is tenable when the variable functions have two-order nearness degree.

Hayabusa2 is a Japanese sample return mission from the asteroid *** Hayabusa2 spacecraft was launched on 3 December 2014 and arrived at Ryugu on 27 June *** stayed there until December 2019 for in situ observation and soil sample collection,and will return to the Earth in November or December *** the stay,the spacecraft performed the first touchdown operation on 22 February 2019 and the second touchdown on 11 July 2019,which were both completed *** the surface of Ryugu is rough and covered with boulders,it was not easy to find target areas for *** were several technical challenges to overcome,including demanding guidance,navigation,and control accuracy,to realize the touchdown *** this paper,strategies and technical details of the guidance,navigation,and control systems are *** flight results prove that the performance of the systems was satisfactory and largely contributed to the success of the operation.

A neuromorphic continuous-time state space pole assignment adaptive controller is proposed, which is particularlyappropriate for controlling a large-scale time-variant state-space model due to the parallely distributed nature ofneurocomputing. In our approach, Hopfield neural network is exploited to identify the parameters of a continuous-timestate-space model, and a dedicated recurrent neural network is designed to compute pole placement feedback control law inreal time. Thus the identification and the control computation are incorporated in the closed-loop, adaptive, real-timecontrol system. The merit of this approach is that the neural networks converge to their solutions very quickly andsimultaneously.
