A fault accommodation zone is.a.type of structure that is defined as regulating displacement and strain between faults *** numbers of fault accommodation zones.a.e being identified in graben basins,indicating the potential exploration target and petroleum accumulation *** study aims to analyze the formation mechanism and development of fault accommodation zones under combined stress by a numerical simulation method considering geomechanical *** three-dimensional(3-D)seismic interpretation and fractal dimension method,exampled with the Dongxin fault zone,the fault activity and fault combination pattern were conducted to quantitatively characterize the activity difference in fault accommodation *** with mechanical experiment test,a geomehcanical model was es.a.lished for fault accommodation zones in a graben *** the paleostress numerical simulations.a.d structural physical simulation experiment,the developmental characteristics.a.d genetic mechanism of fault accommodation zones were *** by multi movements.a.d combined stresses,three significant tectonic evolution s.a.es of the Dongxing Fault Zone(DXFZ)were distinguished:During the E_(s)^(3)sedimentary period,the large difference in the stress,strain,and rupture distribution in various faults were significant,and this s.a.e was the key generation period for the prototype of the DXFZ,including the FAZ between large-s.a.e *** the E_(s)^(2)sedimentary period,the EW-trending symmetric with opposite dipping normal faults.a.d the NE-sW trending faults with large s.a.e were furtherly *** junction area of two secondary normal faults were prone to be ruptured,performing significant period for inheriting and developing characteristics of fault accommodation *** the Es1 sedimentary period,the high-order faults in the DXFZ exhibited the obvious fault depressions.a.d strike-slip activity,and the fault accommodation zones were

Accidental Ingestion of Nitric Acid in an Agricultural company: A Case study and Literature Review

Introduction: Though common in society, caustic accidental ingestion is rare in the agricultural industry. This study describes.a.case of ingestion of nitric acid used as.a. agricultural fertilizer by an ordinary worker at the société de Cultures Légumières. Clinical Case: This is.a.33-year-old unschooled woman who ingested a sip of nitric acid from an abandoned labelled acid canister near a farming plot of land. she showed a burn of the oral cavity with a bleeding tablecloth and an intense retrosternal pain. The duodenal oesophagus fibroscopy screening that was carried out 18 hours.a.ter the accident, revealed an esophagitis class 2b. The tests revealed no anomalies. Fifteen (15) days.a.ter the accident, the FOGD was normal. Following an 8-month-follow up, no signs of stenosis or degeneration were noted. Conclusion: The accidental ingestion of nitric acid is rare in adult. Its treatment is mainly symptomatic and aims.a. preserving vital functions without directly fighting the ingested subs.a.ce off. The right actions must be integrated into the 15-minute Health and safety awarenesssessions for optimum pre-hospital management. The hospital evaluation is mandatory and is carried out thanks to the digestive endoscopy, which is still relevant in this indication, but is completed by the thoraco-abdominal CT. The latter is very sensitive the transmural necrosis diagnosis.

Bifunctional erdite rods.a. an effective flocculant and catalyst in electro-Fenton systems

Erdite rods were massively produced via a one-step alkaline heating route with the complete recycling of waste waterwork sludge. The sludge was.a.mixture of Fe, Mn, Al, and si, but only Fe-bearing subs.a.ces were converted as erdite rods. The erdite rods had 100 nm diameter and 1-5 μm length, and was hydrolysed as Fe-sH-rich flocs in wastewater. Its hydrolysis became slow in the presence of electric field but accelerated by adding PMs. pNitrophenol was targeted as organic pollutant to determine the rods performance. The removal efficiency of pnitrophenol was 7.4% by adding erdite rods, but up to 44.6% with the addition of erdite/PMs, and then dramatically increased to 98.7% in the electro-PMs/erdite system. Given that the free Fe was less than 30 mg/L,the surface Fe of Fe-sH-rich flocs predominated the PMs.a.tivation, in which the surface Fe enriched in electronic field and then was involved in the redox reaction of PMs.a.d then reduced by the adjacent s on flocs. This enabled the recycling of Fe3+/Fe2+to activate PMs.a. high level. Thus, the erdite rods showed high p-nitrophenol removal efficiency in the electro-Fenton system in comparison with the other reported reagents, e.g. ferrous sulphate,ferbam, pyrite and Fes.

Gut microbiota and circulating metabolite dysbiosis predate important pathological changes in glucose metabolic disorders;however,comprehensive studies on impaired glucose tolerance(IGT),a diabetes mellitus(DM)precursor,are ***,we perform metagenomic sequencing and metabolomics on 47 pairs of individuals with IGT and newly diagnosed DM and 46 controls with normal glucose tolerance(NGT);patients with IGT are followed up after 4 years for progression to *** of baseline data reveals significant differences in gut microbiota and serum metabolites.a.ong the IGT,DM,and NGT *** addition,13 types of gut microbiota and 17 types of circulating metabolites showed significant differences.a. baseline before IGT progressed to DM,including higher levels of Eggerthella unclassified,Coprobacillus unclassified,Clostridium ramosum,L-valine,L-norleucine,and L-isoleucine,and lower levels of Eubacterium eligens,Bacteroides faecis,Lachnospiraceae bacterium 3_1_46FAA,Alistipes senegalensis,Megas.a.ra elsdenii,Clostridium perfringens,α-linolenic acid,10E,12Z-octadecadienoic acid,and dodecanoic acid.A random forest model based on differential intestinal microbiota and circulating metabolites can predict the progression from IGT to DM(AUC=0.87).These results suggest that microbiome and metabolome dysbiosis occur in individuals with IGT and have important predictive values.a.d potential for intervention in preventing IGT from progressing to DM.

Purpose:Under-foot impact loadings can cause serious lower limb injuries in many activities,such asautomobile collisions.a.d underbody explosions to military *** present study aims to comparethe biomechanical responses of the mainstream vehicle occupant dummies with the human body lowerlimb model and analyze their robustness.a.d applicability for assessing lower limb injury risk in underfoot impact loading ***:The Hybrid III model,the test device for human occupant restraint(THOR)model,and a hybridhuman body model with the human active lower limb model were adopted for under-foot impactanalysis regarding different impact velocities.a.d initial lower limb ***:The results show that the 2 dummy models have larger peak tibial axial force and highersensitivity to the impact velocities.a.d initial postures than the human lower limb *** particular,the Hybrid III dummy model presented extremely larger peak tibial axial forces than the human lowerlimb *** the case of minimal difference in tibial axial force,Hybrid III's tibial axial force(7.5 KN)isstill 312.5%that of human active lower limb's(2.4 KN).Even with closer peak tibial axial force values,thebiomechanical response curve s.a.es of the THOR model show significant differences from the humanlower limb ***:Based on the present results,the Hybrid III dummy cannot be used to evaluate the lowerlimb injury risk in under-foot loading *** contrast,potential improvement in ankle biofidelity and related soft tissues of the THOR dummy can be implemented in the future for betterapplicability.
