Scholarships are a reflection of academic achievement for college *** traditional scholarship assignment is strictly based on final grades and cannot recognize students whose performance trend improves or declines during the *** paper develops the Trajectory Mining on Clustering for Scholarship Assignment and Academic Warning(TMS)approach to identify the factors that affect the academic achievement of college students and to provide decision support to help low-performing students attain better ***,we first conduct feature engineering to generate a set of features to characterize the lifestyles patterns,learning patterns,and Internet usage patterns of *** then apply the objective and subjective combined weighted k-means(Wosk-means)algorithm to perform clustering analysis to identify the characteristics of different student *** the difficulty in obtaining the real global positioning system(GPS)records of students,we apply manually generated spatiotemporal trajectories data to quantify the direction of trajectory deviation with the assistance of the PrefixSpan algorithm to identify low-performing *** experimental results show that the silhouette coefficient and Calinski-Harabasz index of the Wosk-means algorithm are both approximately 1.5 times to that of the best baseline algorithm,and the sum of the squared error of the Wosk-means algorithm is only the half of the best baseline algorithm.

The appearance of pedestrians can vary greatly from image to image,and different pedestrians may look similar in a given *** similarities and variabilities in the appearance and clothing of individuals make the task of pedestrian re-identification very ***,a pedestrian re-identification method based on the fusion of local features and gait energy image(GEI)features is *** this method,the human body is divided into four regions according to joint *** color and texture of each region of the human body are extracted as local features,and GEI features of the pedestrian gait are also *** features are then fused with the local and GEI features of the *** distance measure learning using the cross-view quadratic discriminant analysis(XQDA)method is used to obtain the similarity of the metric function of the image pairs,and the final similarity is acquired by weight *** of experimental results by cumulative matching characteristic(CMC)curves reveals that,after fusion of local and GEI features,the pedestrian re-identification effect is improved compared with existing methods and is notably better than the recognition rate of pedestrian re-identification with a single feature.

In a large-scale wireless sensor network(WSN),densely distributed sensor nodes process a large amount of *** aggregation of data in a network can consume a great amount of *** balance and reduce the energy consumption of nodes in a WSN and extend the network life,this paper proposes a nonuniform clustering routing algorithm based on the improved K-means *** algorithm uses a clustering method to form and optimize clusters,and it selects appropriate cluster heads to balance network energy consumption and extend the life cycle of the *** ensure that the cluster head(CH)selection in the network is fair and that the location of the selected CH is not concentrated within a certain range,we chose the appropriate CH competition *** results show that,compared with LEACH,LEACH-C,and the DEEC clustering algorithm,this algorithm can effectively balance the energy consumption of the CH and extend the network life.

Market demand is becoming increasingly time-sensitive in competitive ***,supply disruptions will have a more serious impact on the profits of supply *** study applies a Stackelberg competition between a single supplier and a single manufacturer in a time-sensitive supply chain in a cloud manufacturing *** aim to address the supplier’s production capacity recovery issues and the manufacturer’s incentive decision issues after supply *** find that the supplier is in a weak position when the information is *** manufacturer can encourage the supplier to shorten the recovery time by raising the unit wholesale *** the supplier’s unit production cost remains unchanged but the unit wholesale price increases,the profit of the supplier first increases and then *** addition,under the centralized decision-making setting,the optimal recovery time of the supplier is shorter and the optimal unit market price of the product is lower than that under decentralized *** further find that resource sharing can shorten the optimal recovery time,but it does not necessarily play an incentivizing role.

Configuration management(CM)is an effective method for data modeling and change management in product development,but the study of how it can be adapted for complex product maintenance,repair and overhaul(MRO)has thus far been *** propositions are put forward on the basis of a literature review and verified by a case of a high-speed train MRO *** findings show that CM can be used in MRO data management with adjustments in its ***,MRO-CM planning considers both multistage service and single-stage service to keep data consistent and ***,MRO data integration with the design/production phase should be considered during configuration ***,baselines and change rules are developed for change ***,status accounting and auditing can be repeatedly used in MRO data management.A systematic MRO-CM framework is generated to assist MRO practitioners in understanding the relationships among different MRO-CM *** paper contributes to expanding the theory of CM in MRO for complex products and provides an effective method for managing MRO data from systematic engineering insights.

China＇s energy consumption experienced rapid growth over the past three decades, raising great concerns for the future adjustment of China＇s energy consumption structure. This paper first presents the historical evidence on China＇s energy consumption by the fuel types and sectors. Then, by establishing a bottom-up accounting framework and using long-range energy alternatives plan- ning energy modeling tool, the future of China＇s energy consumption structure under three scenarios is forecast. According to the estimates, China＇s total energy con- sumption will increase from 3014 million tonnes oil equivalent （Mtoe） in 2015 to 4470 Mtoe in 2040 under the current policies scenario, 4040 Mtoe in 2040 under the moderate policies scenario and 3320 Mtoe in 2040 under the strong policies scenario, respectively, lower than those of the IEA＇s estimations. In addition, the clean fuels （gas, nuclear and renewables） could be an effective alternative to the conventional fossil fuels （coal and oil） and offer much more potential. Furthermore, the industry sector has much strong reduction potentials than the other sectors. Finally, this paper suggests that the Chinese government should incorporate consideration of adjustment of the energy consumption structure into existing energy policies and measures in the future.

As a cleaner,high-efficiency,and low-carbon fuel,natural gas has been an important fuel resource for *** achieve a substantial increase in natural gas demand,China has sought to reform its natural gas pricing *** a set of unbalanced panel data for China’s 30 provinces covering 1999-2015,this study aims to estimate the evolving price and income elasticities of natural gas demand and explore the effect of natural gas price reform in *** this purpose,a series of econometric techniques allowing for cross-sectional dependence and slope homogeneity is *** results suggest that although natural gas demand in China still lacks negative price elasticity,the phenomenon is ***,the estimates suggest that natural gas demand in China is indeed becoming increasingly sensitive to income *** estimates also provide strong evidence in favor of the effect of natural gas price reform on the change in price elasticity as the price elasticity decreases in five of the seven *** addition,the results indicate large variations in the change in price and income elasticities of natural gas demand across China’s *** gas demand is becoming more price inelastic in Southwest China and Northwest China,while such demand in North China and East China responds less sensitively to income *** findings offer several policy suggestions for the reform of China’s natural gas market at the national and regional levels.

A predictive indicator using lender composition for loan evaluation in P2P lending

Most loan evaluation methods in peer-to-peer(P2P)lending mainly exploit the borrowers’credit ***,the present study presents the maturity-based lender composition score,which exploits the investment capability of a group of lenders who fund the same loan,to enhance the P2P loan *** specifically,we extract lenders’profiles in terms of performance,risk,and experience by quantifying their investment history and develop our loan evaluation indicator by aggregating the profiles of lenders in the *** measure the ability of a lender for continuous improvement in P2P investment,we introduce lender maturity to capture this evolvement and incorporate it into the aggregation *** empirical study demonstrates that the maturity-based lender composition score can serve as an effective indicator for identifying loan quality and be included in other commonly used loan evaluation models for accuracy improvement.
