Machine learning-based prediction models for patients no-show in online outpatient appointments

With the development of information and communication technologies,all public tertiary hospitals in china began to use online outpatient appointment ***,the phenomenon of patient no-shows in online outpatient appointments is becoming more *** objective of this study is to design a prediction model for patient no-shows,thereby assisting hospitals in making relevant decisions,and reducing the probability of patient no-show *** used 382,004 original online outpatient appointment records,and divided the data set into a training set(N_(1)=286,503),and a validation set(N_(2)=95,501).We used machine learning algorithms such as logistic regression,k-nearest neighbor(KNN),boosting,decision tree(DT),random forest(RF)and bagging to design prediction models for patient no-show in online outpatient *** patient no-show rate of online outpatient appointment was 11.1%(N=42,224).From the validation set,bagging had the highest area under the ROc curve and AUc value,which was 0.990,followed by random forest and boosting models,which were 0.987 and 0.976,*** contrast,compared with the previous prediction models,the area under ROc and AUc values of the logistic regression,decision tree,and k-nearest neighbors were lower at 0.597,0.499 and 0.843,*** study demonstrates the possibility of using data from multiple sources to predict patient *** prediction model results can provide decision basis for hospitals to reduce medical resource waste,develop effective outpatient appointment policies,and optimize operations.

Bacillus is one of the most studied and applicated biological control *** volatile organic compounds(VOcs) produced by Bacillus strains have recently been proved to have strong inhibiting activities against plant fungal ***,their mechanisms of action especially one specific VOc produced by Bacillus against plant fungal pathogens still remains poorly ***,little is known about the function of Alternaria solani pathogenic relative *** this study,6-methyl-2-heptanone accounted relatively high content in VOcs from *** ZD01 and inhibited *** mycelia growth significantly in vitro with its Ec value against *** was 0.19 mg/cm *** and transmission electron microscopy analyses revealed distorted hephae and a wide range of abnormalities in *** cells when exposed to ***,there were some cells fluoresced green captured exposed to 6-methyl-2-heptanone and the extracellular ATP contents of *** increased dramatically in treated groups,which indicated that 6-methyl-2-heptanone increased membrane permeability of *** *** qRT-PcR results showed that transcriptional expressions of slt2 and wetA gene were down-regulated exposure to ***,wetA in *** was identified as the condia-associated gene,which plays a role in regulating sporulation yield and conidia *** findings provide further insight into the mechanism of VOcs secreted by Bacillus against ***,further enrich our understanding of bacteria-fungi interactions(BFIs) mediated by VOcs in natural environment,and offer a new and safer strategy for plant disease control.

This research aims at exploring the differences in the effects of environment on entrepreneurship growth between state-owned enterprises and private businesses. Through executive investigation, reasons are provided for better performance of private businesses. Environmental factors, including economic, legal, technological, cultural and social factors, which influence entrepreneurship growth, are examined to determine differences between state-owned enterprise and private business executives. It is found that the methods of executive assignment to managerial posts determine executives＇ effort towards entrepreneurship.

High Security for De-Duplicated Big Data Using Optimal SIMON cipher

Great progress has been made in research on resources, capabilities and performance in academia. However, in the context of "Mass entrepreneurship and innovation", the research on how to acquire key resources and how to build dynamic capabilities for the growth and performance improvement of new Ventures needs to be integrated and filled. Based on the questionnaire data of 524 new Ventures, this paper uses SPSS and AMOS software to construct the structural equation model for empirical research. The results show: The relational embeddedness and resource bricolage methods of key resource acquisition have a positive impact on growth performance, and the dynamic capabilities have partial mediation effect between them. The government support and boundary-spanning search methods of key resource acquisition have no significant impact on growth performance, and the dynamic capabilities have fully mediation effect between them. Different methods of key resource acquisition have a positive impact on dynamic capabilities. Dynamic capabilities have a positive impact on growth *** conclusion of the research provides inspiration for new ventures, national entrepreneurial innovation policy makers, and the investment and financing market to discover the impact of various key resources on corporate growth.

The heterojunction composed of covalent organic frameworks(cOFs)with adjustable structure and other photocatalysts has great potential in the field of ***,effectively enhancing the photocatalytic performance of organic heterojunctions by designing the structure of cOFs has not been ***,TPB-TP-cOFs fabricated from 1,3,5-tris(4-amino-phenyl)benzene(TPB)and terephthalaldehyde(TP)with different substituents(−H,−OH,−OcH_(3),−Br and−F groups),were applied to construct g-c_(3)N_(4)/*** performance improvement of the heterojunction could be affected by substituents,and only−OcH_(3) groups can significantly improve both the photocatalytic phenol oxidation and cr(Ⅵ)*** calculation demonstrated that the substituents will affect the electron cloud distribution of cBM,and the location of cBM in the TPB segment is beneficial for the charge transport between TPB-TP-OcH_(3) and g-c_(3)N_(4).The enhanced charge transfer from g-c_(3)N_(4) to TPB segment and the improved light absorption of TPB-TP-OcH_(3) jointly optimize the photocatalytic redox capacity of g-c_(3)N_(4)/TPB-TP-OcH_(3).On the basis of this study,regulating the electronic effects of semiconductors played a vital role in improving photocatalytic performance in organic heterojunctions.

DTA-HOc:Online HTTPS Traffic Service Identification Using DNS in Large-Scale Networks

An increasing number of websites are making use of HTTPS encryption to enhance security and privacy for their ***,HTTPS encryption makes it very difficult to identify the service over HTTPS flows,which poses challenges to network security *** this paper we present DTA-HOc,a novel DNS-based two-level association HTTPS traffic online service identification method for large-scale networks,which correlates HTTPS flows with DNS flows using big data stream processing and association technologies to label the service in an HTTPS flow with a specific associated domain ***-HOc has been specifically designed to address three practical challenges in the service identification process:domain name ambiguity,domain name query invisibility,and data association time window size *** experiments on datasets collected from a 10-Gbps campus network are conducted alongside offline and online *** show that DTA-HOc can achieve an average online association rate on HTTPS traffic of 83%and a generic accuracy of 86.16%.Its processing time for one minute of data is less than 20 *** results indicate that DTA-HOc is an efficient method for online identification of services in HTTPS flows for large-scale ***,our proposed method can contribute to the identification of other applications which make a Domain Name System(DNS)communication before establishing a connection.

Aging is an inevitable biological phenomenon that involves a multitude of physiological alterations. Dietary interventions are being considered as potential strategies for delaying age-related dysfunction. Unsaponifiable matter (USM)， a composition of highly active ingredients found in walnut oil， has demonstrated antioxidant effects. This study aims to explore the neuroprotective effects of USM on D-galactose-treated c57BL/6 mice and elucidate its underlying mechanism， which was validated in Pc12 cells treated with D-galactose. The results of behavioral tests demonstrated that USM significantly improved cognitive deficits associated with aging. The morphological analysis demonstrated that USM effectively alleviated hippocampal neuronal damage， synaptic impairment， and mitochondrial dysfunction induced by D-galactose. Furthermore， USM significantly increases the antioxidant enzymes activity while reducing the malondialdehyde (MDA) andreactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. The results suggest that USM can mitigate age-related symptoms caused by D-galactose by activating the Nrf2 signaling pathway， which enhances the expression of antioxidant enzymes， restore redox balance， and improves synaptic and mitochondrial functions. This has a positive on improving cognition and memory disorders in elderly mice.
