The primary objective of present investigation is to introduce the novel aspects of convective mass condition and thermal radiation in the peristaltic transport of fluid. Magnetohydrodynamic(MHD) fluid was considered in a symmetric channel. Heat and mass transfer characteristics were analyzed in the presence of Soret and Dufour effects, and the results were presented via two forms of thermal radiation. The temperature, concentration and pressure rise per wavelength were examined. It is observed that the velocity slip and magnetic field parameters have opposite effects on the pressure rise per wavelength. Temperature of fluid is a decreasing function of the radiation parameter. Further, the temperature of fluid decreases by increasing the heat transfer Biot number. It is notified that the heat transfer rate at the wall is a decreasing function of radiation parameter.

To reduce the viscosity of highly-viscous oil of the Tahe oilfield （Xinjiang,China）,an oilsoluble polybasic copolymer viscosity reducer for heavy oil was synthesized using the orthogonal *** optimum reaction conditions are obtained as follows：under the protection of nitrogen,a reaction time of 9 h,monomer mole ratio of reaction materials of 3：2：2 （The monomers are 2-propenoic acid,docosyl ester,maleic anhydride and styrene,respectively）,initiator amount of 0.8% （mass percent of the sum of all the monomers） and reaction temperature of 80 *** synthesized viscosity reducer is more effective than commercial viscosity *** rate of viscosity reduction reached 95.5% at 50 *** spectra （IR） and interfacial tensions of heavy oil with and without viscosity reducer were investigated to understand the viscosity reduction *** viscosity reducer is added,the molecules of the viscosity reducer are inserted amongst the molecules of crude oil,altering the original intermolecular structure of crude oil and weakening its ability to form hydrogen bonds with hydroxyl or carboxyl groups,so the viscosity of crude oil is *** tests of the newly developed oil-soluble viscosity reducer was carried out in the Tahe Oilfield,and the results showed that 44.5% less light oil was needed to dilute the heavy oil to achieve the needed viscosity.

Space-time prism(STP)modeling offers a theoretical base for various person-based space-time accessibility *** has been challenging to construct STPs in multimodal transportation networks because of the vast multimodal trip chaining options between private vehicles and public *** study suggests an effective method for narrowing down the trip chaining *** method involves three incremental strategies to eliminate parking locations that contribute little to enlarging the ***,an upper bound potential path area(PPA)is constructed to remove all inferior parking ***,the study area is partitioned and only complementary parking locations attractive to trip chaining are ***,triangular inequalities are applied for *** selected parking locations are used to construct a compact multimodal supernetwork encompassing one episode of activity ***,the STP and PPA can be found by an existing twostage bidirectional search *** tests are conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the *** is found that 1-2 orders of speedups can be achieved with little compromising the accuracy of measuring space-time *** suggested method is applicable for measuring space-time accessibility in large-scale multimodal transportation networks.

Background： Landscapes consist of heterogeneous interacting dynamic elements with complex ecological, economic and cultural attributes. These complex interactions help in the sustenance of natural resources through bio-geochemical and hydrological cycling. The ecosystem functions are altered with changes in the landscape structure, Fragmentation of large contiguous forests to small and isolated forest patches either by natural phenomena or anthropogenic activities leads to drastic changes in forest patch sizes, shape, connectivity and internal heterogeneity, which restrict the movement leading to inbreeding among Meta populations with extirpation of species. Methods： Landscape dynamics are assessed through land use analysis by way of remote sensing data acquired at different time periods. Forest fragmentation is assessed at the pixel level through computation of two indicators, i.e., Pf （the ratio of pixels that are forested to the total non-water pixels in the window） and P~ （the proportion of all adjacent （cardinal directions only） pixel pairs that include at least one forest pixel, for which both pixels are forested）. Results： Uttara Kannada District has the distinction of having the highest forest cover in Karnataka State, India. This region has been experiencing changes in its forest cover and consequent alterations in functional abilities of its ecosystem. Temporal land use analyses show the trend of deforestation, evident from the reduction of evergreen - semi evergreen forest cover from 57.31% （1979） to 32.08 % （2013） Forest fragmentation at the landscape level shows a decline of interior forests 64.42 % （1979） to 25.62 % （20] 3） and transition of non-forest categories such as crop land, plantations and built-up areas, amounting now to 47.29 %. Background:In a sprint cross-country(XC)ski competition,the difference in recovery times separating the first and the second semi-final(SF)heats from the final(F)may affect *** aim of the current study was to compare the effects of longer *** recovery periods prescribed between the 3 knock-out races of a simulated sprint XC ski competition involving a prologue(P),quarter-final(QF),SF,and ***:Eleven well-trained XC ski athletes completed 2 simulated sprint XC ski competitions on a treadmill involving 4×883-m roller-ski bouts at a 4°incline using the gear 3 ski-skating *** first 3 bouts were completed at a fixed speed(PFIX,QFFIX,and SFFIX)corresponding to~96%of each individual’s previously determined maximal *** final bout was performed as a self-paced sprint time trial(FSTT).Test conditions differed by the time durations prescribed between the QFFIX,SFFIX,and FSTT,which simulated real-world XC ski competition conditions using maximum(MAX-REC)or minimum(MIN-REC)recovery ***:The FSTT was completed 5.4±5.5 s faster(p=0.009)during MAX-REC(179.2±18.1 s)compared to MIN-REC(184.6±20.0 s),and this was linked to a significantly higher power output(p=0.010)and total metabolic rate(p=0.009).The pre FSTT blood lactate(BLa)concentration was significantly lower during MAX-REC compared to MIN-REC(2.5±0.8 mmol/L vs.3.6±1.6 mmol/L,respectively;p=0.027),and the pre-to-post FSTT increase in BLa was greater(8.8±2.1 mmol/L vs.7.1±2.3 mmol/L,respectively;p=0.024).No other differences for MAX-REC ***-REC reached significance(p>0.05).Conclusion:Performance in a group of well-trained XC skiers is negatively affected when recovery times between sprint heats are minimized which,in competition conditions,would occur when selecting the last QF *** result is combined with a higher pre-race BLa concentration and a reduced rise in BLa concentration under shorter recovery *** findings may help inform decision making when

In recent years, in the context of smart cities and the internet of everything, with the rapid development of the intelligent indoor environment, the demand for indoor location services in many industries has become higher and higher, and the need for real-time location of personnel has become more and more urgent. In this paper, a UWB-based circular antenna array single base station is designed for indoor space single base station 3D positioning problem, and the joint Time of Arrival(TOA)/Angle of Arrival(AOA) positioning estimation algorithm is studied. In terms of direction finding, a five-array element direction finding model is established using a uniform circular array, and the Phase Difference of Arrival(PDOA) algorithm is combined to obtain the signal arrival angle information, and TOA is used to complete the distance measurement between the base station and the label, to achieve the calculation of label location information. Also, for the consideration of improving the accuracy of angle measurement, the ambiguity resolution method of antenna array element phase difference for long baseline is proposed. Finally, the system performance was tested and verified in the experimental environments. The results show that the UWB single base station can be used to achieve indoor 3D positioning, its positioning accuracy is better than 1m. Furthermore, the technology can effectively solve problems such as the high deployment cost of multiple base stations, complicated system construction, and so on in practical applications with more excellent application and promotion value.

In this study, the performance of nitrogen and phosphorus removal in a full-scale closed-loop bioreactor （oxidation ditch） system was simulated using the ASM2d model. Routine data describing the process for two years were compiled for calibration and validation. To overcome the identifiability problem, the classic Bayesian inference approach was utilized for parameter estimation. The calibrated model could describe the long-term trend of nutrient removal and short-term variations of the process performance, showing that the Bayesian method was a reliable and useful tool for the parameter estimation of the activated sludge models. The anoxic phosphate uptake by polyphosphate accumulating organisms （PAO） contributed 71.2% of the total Poly-P storage, which reveals the dominance of denitrifying phosphorus removal process under the oxygen limiting conditions. It was found that 58.7% of the anoxic Poly-P storage and denitrification by PAO in the reactor was achieved in the aerated compartment, implying that the PAO＇s anoxic activity was significantly stimulated by the low dissolved oxygen （DO） level in this compartment due to the oxygen gradient caused by brush aerator.
