Objective：To assess the evidence of the use and efficacy for complementary and alternative medicine（CAM） in inflammatory bowel disease（IBD）. Methods：A systematic literature search in MEDLINE was performed for randomized controlled trials（RCTs） in Crohn＇s disease and ulcerative ***,a selective literature search for health services research studies on the use of CAM in patients with IBD was ***：Health services research studies showed a high use of CAM in adult and pediatric patients with IBD *** contrast to the high use among IBD patients,there was a lack of high-quality data for many of the used CAM *** most of the studies showed positive results,the methodological quality of most studies was rather low;therefore,the results had to be interpreted with *** there were many studies for probiotics and fish oil,RCTs for the highly used method homeopathy, for most herbal products,and for traditional Chinese medicine methods apart from acupuncture RCTs were completely ***：The lack of high-quality studies might be the consequence of the problems associated with the funding of clinical trials involving ***,having the high user rates in mind,high-quality studies assessing efficacy and safety of those methods are urgently ***,there is a need for better representation of CAM in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.

This paper is about short review of earthquake statistics and efforts for earthquake mitigation, hazard and risk assessment studies in Pakistan. Pakistan and adjoining region lying between longitude 60°E to 78°E and latitude 20°N to 45°N are selected for the study as this region has a history of many large earthquakes because of its location in the region of intersection of three plates namely Indian, Eurasian and Arabian Sea plate. This paper is based on the study of both seismological history of the region which includes recent and historical seismicity based on earthquake catalogue as well as geological knowledge supplemented with available fault system information. In this study, Pakistan and adjoining regions are divided into 14 seismogenic zones. Seismicity of each zone is studied considering also the major cities in the respective zone and type of infrastructure which is mainly responsible for earthquake disaster rather than earthquake itself.

The Three-River Headwater Region（TRHR）, known as the ＂Water Tower of China＂, is an important ecological shelter for national security interests and regional sustainable development activities for many downstream regions in China and a number of Southeast Asian countries. The TRHR is a high-elevation, cold environment with a unique, but typical alpine vegetation system. Net primary productivity（NPP） is a key vegetation parameter and ecological indicator that can reflect both natural environmental changes and carbon budget levels. Given the unique geographical environment and strategic location of the TRHR, many scholars have estimated NPP of the TRHR by using different methods; however, these estimates vary greatly for a number of reasons. To date, there is no paper that has reviewed and assessed NPP estimation studies conducted in the TRHR. Therefore, in this paper, we（1） summarized the related methods and results of NPP estimation in the TRHR in a systematic review of previous research;（2） discussed the suitability of existing methods for estimating NPP in the TRHR and highlighted the most significant challenges; and（3） assessed the estimated NPP results. Finally, developmental directions of NPP estimation in the TRHR were prospected.

Antibodies are primary tools in several areas of biomedical sciences, including basic research, diagnostics, and molecular therapeutics. Antibodies are widely used in diagnostic applications for clinical medicine. Analysis of cells and tissues in pathology laboratories includes the use of antibodies on tissue sections. Further, antibodies are making rapid inroads into medical therapeutics, driven by technological evolution from chimeric and humanized to fully human antibodies. The therapeutic antibody market has the potential to reach $30 billion by 2010. Our lab has developed a monoclonal antibody, named Met4 that was raised against the extracellular domain of Met specifically with the goal of measuring Met in FFPE tissues. The Met receptor kinase is expressed on the cell surface of a significant number and variety of human primary solid tumors and in their metastases. The characterization of the Met4 antibody suggests it should possess adequate performance for quantification of Met expression in clinical specimens. We have also generated a fully human Fab fragment against EGFR; conjugated it to taxol as an immuno-chemotherapy agent; and investigated its in vitro antitumor efficacy on EGFR positive A431 epidermoid carcinoma cells.

OBJECTIVE:To analyze clinical studies on correlations between Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)body constitution types and diseases published in the past 10 years,and to provide an evidence base to support the use of such correlations for health maintenance and disease ***:We searched five databases for the period April 2009 to December 2019:China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Database,China Science and Technology Journal Database,PubMed and *** types of observational studies on correlation between constitution types and diseases were included:cross-sectional,case-control and cohort *** statistical methods were employed for data ***:A total of 1639 clinical studies were identified:1452(88.59%)cross-sectional studies,115(7.02%)case-control studies and 72(4.39%)cohort studies covering 30 regions of China and five other countries(Malaysia,South Korea,Singapore,Thailand and France).The collection of studies comprised 19 disease categories and 333 different *** 10 most commonly studied diseases were hypertension,diabetes,stroke,coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAHD),sleep disorders,neoplasm of the breast,dysmenorrhea,fatty liver disease,chronic viral hepatitis B and *** found high distributions for each biased constitution type in different patient populations as follows:Qi-deficiency constitution in stroke,diabetes,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and hypertension;Yang-deficiency constitution in female infertility,osteoporosis,irritable bowel syndrome,gonarthrosis and dysmenorrhea;Yin-deficiency constitution in hypertension,diabetes,constipation,female climacteric states and osteoporosis;phlegm-dampness constitution in hypertension,stroke,fatty liver disease,diabetes and metabolic syndrome;damp-heat constitution in acne,chronic gastritis,chronic viral hepatitis B,human papillomavirus infection and hyperuricemia;blood-stasis constit
