There have been several studies on sulfur depletion in dense cores like TMC-1(Taurus Molecular Cloud 1),employing updated reaction networks for sulfur species to explain the missing sulfur in the gas within dense *** of these studies used a C/O ratio of 0.7 or *** present NSRT(NanShan 26m Radio Telescope)observations of TMC-1 alongside results from time-dependent chemical simulations using an updated chemical *** findings highlight the impact of the C/O ratio on the gas-phase evolution of C2S and *** simulation results show that the C/O ratio is an important parameter,playing a fundamental role in determining the gas-phase abundances of sulfur species in dense cores.

The contradiction between the high number of visually handicapped people and the scarcity of guide dogs has stimulated the demand for electronic guide dogs(EGDs).Here,we demonstrate an EGD by leveraging piezoresistors on a MoS_(2)/Ge heterostructure for simultaneous pressure-sensing and optical-sensing *** device has excellent gating capability and exhibits large positive and negative photoresponses under visible(532 nm,182 A/W)and infrared(1550 nm,37 A/W)*** characteristics allow the device to efficiently classify different obstacles at all times of day using pressure and light *** device reaches nearly 100%accuracy after 48 training sessions when used to classify frequent *** device adopts passive and active detection modes during the day and night,respectively,which improves the battery life of the *** work provides a significant reference for the future design of EGDs,which may help a greater number of visually impaired people by reducing the cost of such devices.

A visual and tactile multisensory integrated system is essential for human walking due to the demand for real-time interactions between perception and ***,a piezoresistor and MoS_(2)field effect transistor are combined to construct an artificial integration nervous system to simulate perception and synaptic *** key characteristics of synaptic plasticity are successfully demonstrated by individual pressure signals,individual optical signals,the synergy of optical and pressure signals,which are based on the electron trapping–detrapping mechanism at the MoS_(2)/SiO_(2)*** demonstrate that perception under synergy is stronger than perception under optical or pressure signal alone,which is similar to a biological ***,various distinguishable motion scenarios(combination of the following conditions:external lighting environment of day or night,flat or rough road,movement state of walking or running)are simulated and verified by adjusting the amplitude and frequency of the optical and pressure signals.

Life on Earth uses a common set of L-amino acids(L-aa)to construct proteins and D-nucleosides(D-Nu)to form nucleic acids,which serve as the carrier of genetic ***,we reveal the in-trinsic mechanism of chiral selection of L-aa and D-Nu from the perspective of chemical origin of *** work employed^(15)N-labeled L-aa and performed one-pot synthesis of nucleotide amidate of amino acid(N-aa-NMP)using equal amounts of L-^(15)N-aa and D-^(14)N-aa with D-/L-Nu in the aqueous solution of trimetaphosphate,generating L-^(15)N-aa-NMP and D-^(14)N-aa-NMP,*** ^(31)P-NMR data indicated that L-aa was preferentially selected during the formation of N-aa-NMP in the presence of ***-ingly,D-aa was preferred over L-aa in the presence of *** analysis revealed that L-^(15)N-aa-D-NMP vs.D-^(14)N-aa-L-NMP and D-^(14)N-aa-D-NMP vs.L-^(15)N-aa-L-NMP were mirror isomers of each other,*** data suggest that there could be a set of chiral systems opposite to that on Earth,which infers there might be a world of life that is a mirror image of the Earth.

Objective: To investigate how the National Health Commission of China(NHCC)-recommended Chinese medicines(CMs) modulate the major maladjustments of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),particularly the clinically observed complications and comorbidities. Methods: By focusing on the potent targets in common with the conventional medicines, we investigated the mechanisms of 11 NHCC-recommended CMs in the modulation of the major COVID-19 pathophysiology(hyperinflammations, viral replication), complications(pain, headache) and comorbidities(hypertension, obesity, diabetes). The constituent herbs of these CMs and their chemical ingredients were from the Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Database. The experimentally-determined targets and the activity values of the chemical ingredients of these CMs were from the Natural Product Activity and Species Source Database. The approved and clinical trial drugs against these targets were searched from the Therapeutic Target Database and DrugBank Database. Pathways of the targets was obtained from Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes and additional literature search. Results: Overall,9 CMs modulated 6 targets discovered by the COVID-19 target discovery studies, 8 and 11 CMs modulated 8and 6 targets of the approved or clinical trial drugs for the treatment of the major COVID-19 complications and comorbidities, respectively. Conclusion: The coordinated actions of each NHCC-recommended CM against a few targets of the major COVID-19 pathophysiology, complications and comorbidities, partly have common mechanisms with the conventional medicines.

Hydrogen isotopic composition was measured using an ion microprobe for lherzolitic shergottite in Martian meteorite GRV 99027 from the Grove Mountains in Antarctica. The D/H ratios of phosphate whitlockites were analyzed and water concentrations of tested points were calculated. The result show that their δ D values vary from +1300‰ to +4700‰, and water contents from 0.04 wt% to 0.43 wt%. Comparing the results with the hydrogen isotopic compositions of whole rock, hydrous miner- als and phosphates in SNC meteorites indicates that water highly enriched in deuterium is a unique feature of Martian meteorites, especially the phosphates prominent. It is interpreted as the result of isotopic exchange between magmatic water and Martian crustal fluids. The high D/H ratios observed in GRV 99027 phosphates indicate that they have hydrogen isotopic compositions similar to those of apatite in other Martian meteorites. The results further con- firmed the association of GRV 99027 with the Martian meteorite group.

Coupled with a petrographical study, I carried out an ion probe study of rare earth element microdistributions in mineral phases of silicate inclusions from the Colomera ⅡE iron meteorite. Most mineral grains have homogeneous REEs, but show considerable inter-grain variations by a factor of 2 to 100. The whole rock REE abundances for Colomera, estimated by combining REE data with modal abundances, are relatively LREE-enriched with REEs of -10’CI, which suggest that Colomera silicates were highly differentiated and might represent a low degree partial melt (-10%) of a chondritic source. REE geochemistry of Colomera silicate inclusions points to an origin that involves differentiation, dynamic mixing, remelting, reduction, recrystallization, and subsequent rapid cooling near the surface of a planetary body.

Numerous round to oblate opaque assemblages (OAs) are found in chondrules and matrix of the Ningqiang carbonaceous chondrite. They are mainly composed of Ni-rich metal,magnetite,Fe,Ni-sulfides,with minor amounts of phosphate,phosphoran-olivine,pyroxene and trace amounts of nano-sized platinum-group metal alloys. The mineralogy of Ningqiang OAs is very similar to that of OAs previously reported in Ca,Al-rich inclusions of CV chondrites. Being a rare mineral phase in nature,phosphoran-olivine is thought to form by nonequilibrium reactions between P-bearing molten metal and olivine crystals during rapid cooling. Its occurrence in Ningqiang OAs indicates that the precursor of OAs was locally produced during chondrule formation,rather than directly condensed from the solar nebula as previously thought. The petrographic and mineralogical characteristics of Ningqiang OAs reveal that OAs formed by low temperature alterations of pre-existing homogeneous alloys within chondrules on a planetary body.

Theoretical investigation on the elusive biomimetic iron(Ⅲ)-iodosylarene chemistry: An unusual hydride transfer triggers the Ritter reaction

Introduction of iodosylarnes into biomimetic nonheme chemistry has made great achievement on identification of the subtle metal-oxygen reaction intermediates. However, after more than three decades of experimental and theoretical efforts the nature of the metal-iodosylarene adducts and the related dichotomous one-oxidant/multiple-oxident controversy have remained a matter of speculation. Herein, we report a theoretical study of the structure-activity relationship of the noted iron(Ⅲ)-iodsylarene complex,FeⅢ(Ph IO)(OTf)3(1), in oxygenation of cyclohexene. The calculated results revealed that 1 behaves like a chameleon by adapting its roles as a 2 e-oxidant or an oxygen donor, as a response to the regioselective attack of the C–H bond and the C=C bond. The oxidative C–H bond activation by 1 was found, for the first time, to proceed via a novel hydride transfer process to form a cyclohexene carbonium intermediate,such non-rebound step triggers the Ritter reaction to uptake an acetonitrile molecule to form the amide product, or proceeds with the rebound of the hydroxyl group return to the solvent cage to form the hydroxylated product. While in the C=C bond activation, 1 is a normal oxygen donor and shows two-state reactivity to present the epoxide product via a direct oxygen atom transfer mechanism. These mechanistic findings fit and explain the famous Valentine’s experiments and enrich the non-rebound scenario in bioinorganic chemistry.
