Dear Editor,This letter is concerned with stability analysis and stabilization design for sampled-data based load frequency control(LFC) systems via a data-driven method. By describing the dynamic behavior of LFC systems based on a data-based representation, a stability criterion is derived to obtain the admissible maximum sampling interval(MSI) for a given controller and a design condition of the PI-type controller is further developed to meet the required MSI. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is verified by a case study.

In this paper,a bilevel optimization model of an integrated energy operator(IEO)–load aggregator(LA)is constructed to address the coordinate optimization challenge of multiple stakeholder island integrated energy system(IIES).The upper level represents the integrated energy operator,and the lower level is the electricity-heatgas load *** to the benefit conflict between the upper and lower levels of the IIES,a dynamic pricing mechanism for coordinating the interests of the upper and lower levels is proposed,combined with factors such as the carbon emissions of the IIES,as well as the lower load interruption *** price of selling energy can be dynamically adjusted to the lower LA in the mechanism,according to the information on carbon emissions and load interruption *** benefits and win-win situations are achieved between the upper and lower ***,CPLEX is used to iteratively solve the bilevel optimization *** optimal solution is selected according to the joint optimal discrimination *** results indicate that the sourceload coordinate operation can reduce the upper and lower operation *** the proposed pricingmechanism,the carbon emissions and load interruption power of IEO-LA are reduced by 9.78%and 70.19%,respectively,and the capture power of the carbon capture equipment is improved by 36.24%.The validity of the proposed model and method is verified.

Radio frequency identification （RFID） has prominent advantages compared with other autoidentification technologies. Combining RFID with network technology, physical object tracking and information sharing can possibly be carried out in an innovative way. Regarding open-loop RFID applications, RFID public services infrastructure （PSI） is presented, PSI architecture is designed, and service modules are implemented, and a demonstrative application system, blood management and traceability system, is studied to verify PSI. Experimental results show the feasibility of the proposed architecture and the usability of PSI framework software.

A new output feedback adaptive control scheme for multi-input and multi-output nonlinear systems with parametric uncertainty is presented based on the Nussbaum gain method and the backstepping approach. The high frequency gain matrix of the linear part of the system is not necessarily positive definite, but can be transformed into a lower or upper triangular matrix whose signs of diagonal dements are unknown. The new required condition for the high fi＇equency gain matrix can be easily checked for certain plants so that the proposed method is widely applicable. The global stability of the closed loop systems is guaranteed through this control scheme, at the same time the tracking error converges to zero.

Robust predictive control algorithms were presented for polytopic uncertain linear discrete systems with time-delay subjected to actuator saturation. In the first algorithm, the parameter dependent state feedback model predictive control (MPC) law was obtained from minimizing the upper bound of the cost function subjected to several linear matrix inequality constraints. In order to reduce computation burden, a second robust MPC algorithm based on nominal performance cost was presented. The feasibility of the optimization problems guarantees that the algorithms are robustly stable. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

In this paper, we present a metamaterial structure of Dirac and vanadium dioxide（VO2） and investigate its optical properties using the finite-difference time-domain（FDTD） technique. Using the phase transition feature of VO2, the design can realize active tuning of the plasmon induced transparency（PIT） effect at terahertz frequency, thereby converting from a single PIT to a double-PIT. When VO2is in the insulating state, the structure is symmetric to obtain a single-band PIT effect. When VO2is in the metallic state, the structure turns asymmetric to realize a dual-band PIT effect. This design provides a reference direction for the design of actively tunable metamaterials. Additionally, it is discovered that the transparent window's resonant frequency and the Fermi level in this structure have a somewhat linear relationship. In addition, the structure achieves superior refractive index sensitivity in the terahertz band, surpassing 1 THz/RIU. Consequently, the design exhibits encouraging potential for application in refractive index sensors and optical switches.

A robust tuning method for ο^Astroem＇s two-degree of Freedom Modified Smith Predictor （MSP） is proposed, and it can achieve the fast setpoint and load disturbance responses independently. The tuning rules may meet the requirements within a certain delay margin according to the robustness theory. The simulation results illustrate that the tuning method is efficient compared with other controllers. Finally, the MSP controller is applied to the 15L batch fermentation system for controlling the temperature in bioreactor, and the experiment results further verify that the robust tuning rules may achieve good performance.

The robust reliable H∞ control problem for discrete-time Markovian jump systems with actuator failures is studied. A more practical model of actuator failures than outage is considered. Based on the state feedback method, the resulting closed-loop systems are reliable in that they remain robust stochastically stable and satisfy a certain level of H∞ disturbance attenuation not only when all actuators are operational, but also in case of some actuator failures, The solvability condition of controllers can be equivalent to a feasibility problem of coupled linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）. A numerical example is also given to illustrate the design procedures and their effectiveness.
