Safety Evaluation of Water Environment Carrying Capacity of Five Cities in Ningxia Based on Ecological Footprint of Water resources

[Objectives]To make safety evaluation of water environment carrying capacity of five cities in Ningxia based on ecological footprint of water resources.[Methods]With the help of the grey relational model,15 indicators were selected from the natural,economic,and social aspects,and the most influential factors in the three fields were *** on the concept of ecological priority,the water resources carrying capacity of the five cities in Ningxia from 2010 to 2019 was calculated with the help of the water resources ecological footprint ***,the indicators of the water resources ecological footprint model were coupled with the existing indicators to establish a comprehensive evaluation indicator ***,the changes of the water environment carrying capacity of the five cities in Ningxia were analyzed with the help of the principal component analysis(PCA).[Results]The ecological pressure of water resources and the ecological deficit of water resources in the five cities were relatively ***,Yinchuan City had the most obvious deficit of water resources but good carrying capacity;Zhongwei City had a large ecological deficit of water resources,poor carrying capacity,and the largest ecological pressure index of water resources;Guyuan City had low water resources ecological deficit,water resources ecological carrying capacity and water resources ecological pressure index.[Conclusions]Through the analysis of the coupling indicator system,it can be seen that the water environment carrying capacity of the five cities is in an upward trend,indicating that the water environment in each region tends to become better.

[Objectives] To analyze the volatile components,the contents of total flavonoids and total polysaccharides of the roots of Artemisia argyi Levl. et Van. var. argyi cv. Qiai,and to provide a scientific basis for the comprehensive development and utilization of the resources.[Methods]The volatile components of the roots were extracted by solid phase micro-extraction( SPME),and its volatile components were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry( GC-MS); the contents of total flavonoids and total polysaccharides in the samples were measured by UV-spectrophotometry. [Results] 44 peaks were isolated from the roots and 30 components were identified,accounting for 80. 9% of the total volatile components; the content of total flavonoids in the roots was 9. 42%; the content of total polysaccharides in the roots was 11. 05%.[Conclusions] After a comprehensive investigation,the olefins in the roots generally have antibacterial activity,the contents of the total flavonoids and total polysaccharides contained in the roots were relatively high,the roots of Artemisia argyi do have broad prospects for the development.

Three-dimensional numerical modeling of fullspace transient electromagnetic responses of water in goaf

The full-space transient electromagnetic response of water-filled goaves in coal mines were numerically modeled. Traditional numerical modeling methods cannot be used to simulate the underground full-space transient electromagnetic field. We used multiple transmitting loops instead of the traditional single transmitting loop to load the transmitting loop into Cartesian grids. We improved the method for calculating the z-component of the magnetic field based on the characteristics of full space. Then, we established the full- space 3D geoelectrical model using geological data for coalmines. In addition, the transient electromagnetic responses of water-filled goaves of variable shape at different locations were simulated by using the finite-difference time-domain （FDTD） method. Moreover, we evaluated the apparent resistivity results. The numerical modeling results suggested that the resistivity differences between the coal seam and its roof and floor greatly affect the distribution of apparent resistivity, resulting in nearly circular contours with the roadway head at the center. The actual distribution of apparent resistivity for different geoelectrical models of water in goaves was consistent with the models. However, when the goal water was located in one side, a false low-resistivity anomaly would appear on the other side owing to the full-space effect but the response was much weaker. Finally, the modeling results were subsequently confirmed by drilling, suggesting that the proposed method was effective.

Organic phase change materials like paraffin as phase change material,modified diatomite as carrier,composite phase change material with proper phase change temperature and larger phase change enthalpy is prepared by melt *** structure and performance of composite phase material are characterized using SEM,FI-IR and synthesized thermal analyzer *** results show that the phase change temperature of composite phase change material is 30, and phase change enthalpy is 89.54J/*** every part preserved,phase change particles are distributed in the diatomite/melted paraffin matrix *** composite phase change materials are prepared with diatomite as carrier and paraffin as PCM,which are bonded with Vander Waals forces in the form of physical adsorption.

Water environmental capacity of Lijiang River within Guilin city is researched. The relationship among concentration of pollutants and flow rate as well as water environmental capacity of Lijiang River is discussed. The changes of pollutant concentration in past years is analyzed. The results show that there exists a certain value of flow rate corresponding to a certain average concentration of pollutants on the upper and lower sections of the research area. If flow rate is greater than that value, the concentration of pollutants will decrease with the increase of flow. While the result will be the contrary when river flow is smaller than that value, that is to say, the concentration will increase with the increase of flow. To be aware of this regularity is of vital significance in water resource protection and comprehensive utilization[1].

Analysis of Technical Energy Conservation Potential of China’s Energy Consumption Sectors

It is necessary for China to refocus its energy conservation effort from the industrial sector (field) to all three sectors simultaneously, i.e. industry, construction and transport. In addition, it should also make significant effort for conserving energy on general technical equipment that are used in large quantities and for a variety of applications. Therefore, there is a need to integrate industrial, construction and transport sectors, i.e. the integration between key technologies and widely used technologies, between hard and soft management, between energy-saving technologies and comprehensive resource utilization technologies. According to estimates, if China’s energy consuming sectors adopted appropriate energy-saving technologies, total energy-savings (using 2010 as the baseline) would be 200 million, 450 million, 650 million and 800 million tons of standard coal in 2015, 2020, 2025 and 2030, respectively.

LUCC can visually reflect global environmental *** province is a typical karst *** this study,the remote sensing images in 1990,2000,and 2015 were used as major data *** quantitative changes,spatial distribution and transformation of different land use types are analyzed by using the methods of land use dynamic attitude and land use type transfer *** results showed that the cultivated area had been showing an decreasing trend;the woodland area had been showing an increasing trend with little amplitude;the water area and the construction land had been showing an increasing trend,especially the change of construction,and they distributed in the middle of Guizhou province（south of Guiyang City and northeast of Anshun City,namely Gui’an New District）.This is the result of the rapid development of social economy and urbanization in the past *** revealing the relationship between land use change and regional economic development,this paper provides a scientific reference for rational utilization of land resources in Guizhou Province.

Inherent metallic species retained by coal char or coke,such as Na and Ca,behave as catalysts in *** char/coke normally contains inherent SiO_(2),which can react with the inherent catalysts to form silicates,resulting in catalyst deactivation over the range of pyrolysis,carbonization and gasification,and thereby reducing the char/coke *** present authors simulated the inherent catalyst deactivation experimentally by blending a Victorian lignite with SiO_(2),briquetting the SiO_(2)/lignite blend,carbonizing the briquette,and then gasifying the coke with CO_(2).The kinetic analysis of the gasification employed a comprehensive model,which assumed progress in parallel of non-catalytic and catalytic *** model quantitatively described the measured kinetics of the coke gasification with different SiO_(2)contents over a range of coke conversion up to 99.9%.The kinetic analysis revealed that the SiO_(2)deactivated substantial and entire portions of the most active catalyst and its precursor,respectively,before the gasification(i.e.,during the carbonization).The catalyst deactivation also occurred during the gasification,but mainly following a self-deactivation mechanism that involved no silicates formation.
