Modifying the microstructure of photocatalysts while simultaneously introducing vacancies has shown significant potential in enhancing their performance for hydrogen production. Herein, a novel tubular mesoporous carbon nitride（TMCN） with nitrogen vacancies was fabricated using a microwave-assisted synthesis strategy, employing melamine-cyanuric acid supramolecular（MC-S） as the precursor. The optimized TMCN exhibited an outstanding H2production rate, approximately 29 times higher than that of pristine g-C3N4. The N-vacancies serve as sites for reactant adsorption and activation, leading to enhanced delocalization of HOMO-LUMO. Furthermore, the porous structures of TMCN facilitate the reactant diffusion, while its tubular architectures promote the oriented transfer of charge carriers. Crucially, the markedly improved photocatalytic performance of TMCN can be predominantly attributed to the synergistic effects arising from its superior structure and N-vacancy defects. This work opens new possibilities for the simultaneous formation of surface defect states as photocatalytic reaction sites and distinctive structures conducive to charge carrier transport.

Solution-processed Cu（In,Ga）Se2（CIGS） solar cells suffer from serious carrier recombination and power conversion efficiency（PCE） loss because of the poor film properties and easy formation of ***, we propose Ag&Se co-selenization strategy to enhance the crystallization and passivate harmful defects of the CIGS films. The formation of Ag-Se phase during the selenization process enables the formation of large grains and suppresses the deep level defects. It is found that Ag doping can enlarge the depletion region width, lower the Urbach energy and prolong the carrier lifetime. As a result, a champion solution-processed CIGS solar cell presents a high efficiency of 16.48% with the highly improved opencircuit voltage（VOC） of 662 m V and fill factor（FF） of 75.8%. This work provides an efficient strategy to prepare high quality solution-processed CIGS films for high-performance CIGS solar cells.

The properties of γ-ray-reduced graphene oxide samples(GRGOs)were compared with those of hydrazine hydrate-reduced graphene oxide(HRGO).Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,X-ray diffractometry,Raman spectroscopy,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area analysis,thermogravimetric analysis,electrometry,and cyclic voltammetry were carried out to verify the reduction process,structural changes,and defects of the samples,as well as to measure their thermal,electrical,and electrochemical *** with γ-rays distorted the structure of GRGOs and generated massive defects through the extensive formation of new smaller sp^(2)-hybridized domains compared with those of *** thermal stability of GRGOs was higher than that of HRGO,indicating the highly efficient removal of thermally-labile oxygen species by γ-*** prepared at 80 kGy showed a pseudocapacitive behavior comparable with the electrical double-layer capacitance behavior of ***,the specific capacitance of GRGO was enhanced by nearly three times compared with that of *** results reflect the advantages of radiation reduction in energy storage applications.

Lithium-sulfur （Li-S） batteries have gained great attention due to the high theoretical energy density and low cost,yet their further commercialization has been obstructed by the notorious shuttle effect and sluggish redox ***,we supply a strategy to optimize the electron structure of Ni2P by concurrently introducing B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P （Vp-B-Ni2P）,thereby enhancing the bidirectional sulfur *** study indicates that the simultaneous introduction of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P causes the redistribution of electron around Ni atoms,bringing about the upward shift of d-band center of Ni atoms and effective d-p orbital hybridization between Ni atoms and sulfur species,thus strengthening the chemical anchoring for lithium polysulfides （LiPSs） as well as expediting the bidirectional conversion kinetics of sulfur ***,theoretical calculations reveal that the incorporation of B-doped atoms and P vacancies in Ni2P selectively promotes Li2S dissolution and nucleation ***,the Li-S batteries with Vp-B-Ni2P-separators present outstanding rate ability of 777 m A h g-1at 5 C and high areal capacity of 8.03 mA h cm-2under E/S of 5μL mg-1and sulfur loading of 7.20 mg *** work elucidates that introducing heteroatom and vacancy in metal phosphide collaboratively regulates the electron structure to accelerate bidirectional sulfur conversion.

The high costs of the currently used membranes in vanadium redox flow batteries(VRFBs)contribute to the price of the vanadium redox flow battery systems and therefore limit the market share of the *** we report a detailed simulation and experimental studies on the effect of membrane reduction of single-cell *** simulated designs demonstrate that a proposed centred and double-strip membrane coverage showed a promising *** charge-discharge profile of different membrane size reduction,which showed good agreement with simulated data,suggests that the membrane size can comfortably be reduced by up to 20%without severe efficiency or discharge capacity ***-term cycling of 80%centred membrane coverage showed improved capacity retention during the latter cycles with almost 1%difference in capacity and only 2%in energy efficiency when compared to the fully covered-membrane *** results hold great promise for the development of cheap RFB stacks and facilitate the way to develop new cell designs with non-overlapping electrodes ***,giving more flexibility to improve the overall performance of the system.

What Prompts the People's Bank of China to Change Its Monetary Policy Stance?Evidence from a Discrete Choice Model

In the present paper, we model the policy stance of the People＇s Bank of China （PBC） as a latent variable, and the discrete changes in the reserve requirement ratio, policy interest rates, and the scale of open market operations are taken as signals of movement of this latent variable. We run a discrete choice regression that relates these observed indicators of policy stance to major trends of macroeconomic and financial developments, which are represented by common factors extracted from a large number of variables. The predicted value of the estimated model can then be interpreted as the implicit policy stance of the PBC. In a second step, we estimate how much of the variation in the PBC＇ s implicit stance can be explained by measures of its policy objectives on inflation, growth and financial stability. We find that deviations of CPI inflation from an implicit target and deviations of broad money growth from the announced targets, but not output gaps, figure significantly in the PBC＇s policy changes.
